Life is a Journey of Self-Discovery

What an interesting and incredible journey life can be! As souls, we live many lifetimes learning lessons for our souls. We spend time in Heaven, and when the time is right, we make a decision to be reborn on the Earth. The divine knowledge stored in our souls is temporarily veiled as we make our way back to Earth for a journey of self-discovery. Each event and circumstance we experience is specifically designed to reawaken our souls to the divine knowledge within, to rediscover the truth of our existence at the core of our spirits.

Why do we suffer?

On the surface, the obstacles and difficult times may not seem to make sense. Why do we need to suffer? Why do we need to experience physical and emotional pain? What is the purpose behind the experiences that wrench our souls? It is not a divine experiment designed to see what effects pain has on us as beings, but a carefully selected series of events uniquely created for each being. These events are created to draw us deeper within to relearn who we are and to draw us closer to divine truths.

Accelerating our Growth

In Heaven, negativity does not exist as it does here on Earth. Our time in Heaven is a time of rest and learning, but not of great challenges. We agree to a lifetime on Earth to help accelerate the evolvement of our souls, which means, we agree to face challenges designed to reawaken us to the divine core within and to help us rediscover our reasons for existence.

Amazingly Sophisticated Orchestration

The soul contracts we make prior to being born on this Earth contain the lessons we agreed to learn in our lifetimes. Each soul contract is a unique listing of lessons for each individual. The details about how those lessons will occur is not determined until we are here on Earth. This is because we have free will. Each decision we make affects a multitude of actions and, therefore, creates a dynamic which requires real-time facilitation of lesson-learning situations. All of the situations are designed, directed, and changed in an incredibly sophisticated manner by powers higher than us and are managed according to the goals in our soul contracts. This complicated process weaves together our lives with the lives of others in order to help all of us learn separate lessons within each of the circumstances.

Overarching Goals

One of the overarching goals of life on Earth is to learn how to love ourselves and others during this journey of self-discovery of the divine within. We are all on different levels of evolvement, which helps with the lesson-learning process because our individual actions motivated by our soul’s level of evolvement are used to create situations which stimulate conflict, agreement, challenges, and triumphs. Loving and appreciating each other throughout the experiences of life can be a challenge in and of itself because of the divine knowledge veiled from us and because we may have a difficult time recognizing the bigger picture when it comes to negative events. By looking for the positive within negative events and knowing we are here to help each other, even if it is facilitated through trying circumstances, may provide more understanding and acceptance of what we go through and why.

Interconnectedness

Life really is an amazing journey of self-discovery made through the cooperative efforts of each and every one of us on Earth, as well as our support teams in Heaven. Even if awareness of how we are all interconnected is not readily understood by all, we are still one big family of beings sent here to help one another in our journey through life.

Receiving Heavenly Messages from Loved Ones in Spirit

AngelAs a Spirit Medium, I help to connect people with loved ones that have crossed over into heaven, as well as with spirit guides, guardian angels, past spiritual masters, and archangels. Loved ones who come through in a reading include both people and animals. I am constantly delighted and amazed at the messages that come through, as well as the way in which they are communicated.

How Communications from Spirit are Received

When I communicate with spirits, all of my extrasensory senses are utilized.  Through clairvoyance, or extrasensory seeing, I am shown motion and still images of the deceased, as well as images that have symbolic meaning for the recipient of the reading. Through clairsentience, or extrasensory feeling, spirits send me physical indicators about the way in which they passed, such as a short sharp pain in the area of my heart which indicates that his or her life ended due to a heart attack. Through clairaudience, or extrasensory hearing, I am able to pick up auditory messages that spirits want to pass along to you. The use of clairalience and clairambience allows me to pick up on messages that are sent through my sense of taste and smell. For instance, I recently had an experience in which the strong taste of cigar smoke came through in a reading. When I shared this information with the recipient of the reading, they confirmed that the loved one coming through was a cigar smoker. Lastly, messages are sent to me using claircognizance, or extrasensory knowing. This is information that is known within my spirit. It is not shared through any of the others senses, it is information that has been downloaded to my mind that I share with the recipient of a reading.

Messages Shared After Loved Ones Have Been Identified

Once a spirit has been clearly recognized by the recipient of a reading through the initial validation process in which identity-revealing information is transmitted, such as about physical characteristics and personality traits, then it is time to share the messages that the spirit wants you to receive. The messages often include love, asking for forgiveness, and comfort about the spirit’s arrival in heaven.

Truthful and Heartfelt Guidance from Heaven

Because these spirits are in heaven, and can better see and understand the process of life on earth, they often offer guidance about your life path. It is important to keep in mind that the gift of divine communication is not to tell you what you necessarily want to hear, but to share the truth with you. The messages you receive are of great importance to the growth of your soul. Because we have been given the gift of free will, it is always up to the recipient of the reading to decide whether to follow the advice that is gifted to them by his or her heavenly support team.

What Happens When You Choose to Ignore Messages from Heaven

Some people have a strong adverse reaction to the messages because it requires that he or she let go of anger, grudges, and negative thought processes that he or she has held onto for a long time. The spirits are telling the person this,  not to make the him or her angry or upset, but rather to help this person to  release harmful patterns that are holding him or her back from achieving  personal happiness, and could even be causing the recipient of the reading  emotional, mental, and physical distress. If a person chooses to ignore the messages that spirits have shared with him or her, the spirits will not give up on their quest to help this person. He or she will continue to come across situations that will challenge him or her to grow as a soul, and to open his or her heart and mind to a more positive life path.

What Happens When You Listen to Divine Guidance

I am very happy to report that most people are open to the messages that they receive from spirit during readings. They understand the priceless value of the heavenly guidance that has been given to them. Amazing transformations and events do occur in the lives of the people who do take the messages to heart. I know not only because I am one of them, but also because of the feedback I receive from thankful clients who tell me about the fantastic turn their lives have taken as a result of following the advice given to them by their loved ones in spirit.

Best Advice

When you are the recipient of a spirit medium reading, my best advice is to keep an open mind about who will come through for you, as well as the messages that they will deliver to you about your life. It is a gift of divine guidance and intervention that could completely turn your life around if you listen closely to the information that spirits are sharing with you. This information originates not from the spirit medium who is delivering it, because he or she is only the vessel through which the communication flows, but from your heavenly support team who views your life from a much higher perspective. They want to see you succeed with the life lessons you have chosen for this lifetime, and hope that you recognize the honor and the blessings that they have gifted to you through their heavenly communications with you.

Your Self-Worth Is Not Measured by the Opinions of Others

Women enjoying autumnHave you taken a non-judgmental look inside your heart and spirit to assess the traits that define the essence of who you are? Have you accepted all of those traits in a loving manner by embracing and recognizing the positive ones, and acknowledging the ones that need a little work?

 Self-Awareness and Self-Love

Knowing who you are and loving who you are, are important factors for claiming the power within you that is rightfully yours. When you allow the negative words and actions of others to define you, you are giving other people the power to dim the light within you.

Determining the Reason behind Communications

There is a very big difference between someone providing you with constructive feedback and someone hurling insults and hurtful words at you. The clues to determining the difference are in the delivery and the motivation for the feedback.

Respect Comes Naturally

When people have your best interest at heart, they will speak to you in a respectful manner, and the thoughts they share with you come from the heart. The person who speaks with you in this manner is genuinely interested in your welfare, and would like to help you succeed.

It is Their Fear

On the opposite end of the spectrum, when people say vicious or mean things to you using sarcastic, biting, or angry tones, they are projecting their own negative feelings about themselves on you. The motivation for such behavior is based in fear. Often, it is because they envy what you possess and are afraid that they will never have it themselves. In this person’s mind, they mistakenly think that putting you down will raise themselves up. Instead of taking responsibility for themselves and their personal happiness, they lash out at you. When facing an onslaught such as this, you need to be strong enough in your own right in order to recognize the motivation behind this behavior, and to dismiss it as someone else’s fears and not a reflection of who you are.

How to Achieve the Best Results

In relationships and communications, it is love, self-love and love toward others, that creates the outcomes we desire. Coming from a place of fear or attempting to instill fear in others may temporarily achieve certain results; however, in the long-term, it eats away at the levels of trust and can ultimately destroy interpersonal relations.

What to Do

When you encounter people who are operating from a place of fear instead of love, you can choose to dismiss their comments and hurtful behavior and move on with your life. Whether it was a momentary transgression or a more problematic aspect of someone’s behavior, try to take a more understanding and compassionate approach by knowing that each person is doing their best to grapple with the issues that we contend with on earth. We all make mistakes, and, hopefully, we learn from them. Within your heart, mind, and soul, forgive the person for their transgression, and wish them love, health, and happiness.

Self-Worth Is Defined by You

All in all, when you love yourself for who you are and you operate from a standpoint of love, you can more easily recognize when someone’s behavior is motivated by his or her fears, and not genuine feedback that you should take to heart. Your self-worth is a value that is defined by you, and only you. The actions you take and the thoughts you share display to others the value you hold for yourself in your heart, mind, and spirit. Believe in you, and love who you are, because you are a beautiful light in this world who deserves an abundance of happiness and love.
