Receiving Divine Messages from Spirits in Heaven

As a Spirit Medium, I help to connect people with loved ones that have crossed over into heaven, as well as with spirit guides, guardian angels, past spiritual masters, and archangels. Loved ones who come through in a reading include both people and animals. I am constantly delighted and amazed at the messages that come through, as well as the way in which they are communicated.

How Communications from Spirit are Received
When I communicate with spirits, all of my extrasensory senses are utilized. Through clairvoyance, or extrasensory seeing, I am shown motion and still images of the deceased, as well as images that have symbolic meaning for the recipient of the reading. Through clairsentience, or extrasensory feeling, spirits send me physical indicators about the way in which they passed, such as a short sharp pain in the area of my heart which indicates that his or her life ended due to a heart attack. Through clairaudience, or extrasensory hearing, I am able to pick up auditory messages that spirits want to pass along to you. The use of clairalience and clairambience allows me to pick up on messages that are sent through my sense of taste and smell. For instance, I recently had an experience in which the strong taste of cigar smoke came through in a reading. When I shared this information with the recipient of the reading, they confirmed that the loved one coming through was a cigar smoker. Lastly, messages are sent to me using claircognizance, or extrasensory knowing. This is information that is known within my spirit. It is not shared through any of the others senses, it is information that has been downloaded to my mind that I share with the recipient of a reading.

Messages Shared After Loved Ones Have Been Identified
Once a spirit has been clearly recognized by the recipient of a reading through the initial validation process in which identity-revealing information is transmitted, such as about physical characteristics and personality traits, then it is time to share the messages that the spirit wants you to receive. The messages often include love, asking for forgiveness, and comfort about the spirit’s arrival in heaven.

Truthful and Heartfelt Guidance from Heaven
Because these spirits are in heaven, and can better see and understand the process of life on earth, they often offer guidance about your life path. It is important to keep in mind that the gift of divine communication is not to tell you what you necessarily want to hear, but to share with you the truth. The messages you receive are of great importance to the growth of your soul. Because we have been given the gift of free will, it is always up to the recipient of the reading to decide whether to follow the advice that is gifted to them by his or her heavenly support team.

What Happens When You Choose to Ignore Messages from Heaven
Some people have a strong adverse reaction to the messages because it requires that he or she let go of anger, grudges, and negative thought processes that he or she has held onto for a long time. The spirits are telling the person this, not to make the him or her angry or upset, but rather to help this person to release harmful patterns that are holding him or her back from achieving personal happiness, and could even be causing the recipient of the reading emotional, mental, and physical distress. If a person chooses to ignore the messages that spirits have shared with him or her, the spirits will not give up on their quest to help this person. He or she will continue to come across situations that will challenge him or her to grow as a soul, and to open his or her heart and mind to a more positive life path.

What Happens When You Listen to Divine Guidance
I am very happy to report that most people are open to the messages that they receive from spirit during readings. They understand the priceless value of the heavenly guidance that has been given to them. Amazing transformations and events do occur in the lives of the people who do take the messages to heart. I know not only because I am one of them, but also because of the feedback I receive from thankful clients who tell me about the fantastic turn their lives have taken as a result of following the advice given to them by their loved ones in spirit.

Best Advice
When you are the recipient of a spirit medium reading, my best advice is to keep an open mind about who will come through for you, as well as the messages that they will deliver to you about your life. It is a gift of divine guidance and intervention that could completely turn your life around if you listen closely to the information that spirits are sharing with you. This information originates not from the spirit medium who is delivering it, because he or she is only the vessel through which the communication flows, but from your heavenly support team who views your life from a much higher perspective. They want to see you succeed with the life lessons you have chosen for this lifetime, and hope that you recognize the honor and the blessings that they have gifted to you through their heavenly communications with you.

Our Relationship with Animals

Animals are fantastic creatures. They teach us so much through their behaviors and unconditional love. The Native American Indians, who have devotedly studied animals for spiritual and sustenance purposes, appreciate the subtle nuances of the behavior of animals. Often, they adopt the Spirit of a particular animal as their Totem. They strongly believe that the Spirit of the forces of nature, the birds, the animals, etc., were sent to us as protectors and guides that carry messages of import communicated through behavioral signs and intuitive communication with their Spirits.

In today’s world, we no longer have to survive off the land as the Native American Indians once did. Modern inventions and conveniences have moved us away from total immersion with nature; however, that doesn’t mean that the spiritual world of animals is no longer relevant. The animal kingdom is as important today as it was during the time when Native American Indians roamed the land unconfined by government-imposed boundaries.

We can learn about the signs and messages from animals through our own gentle observations, as well as from books that carry the knowledge of those who have gone before us. To start your journey into the world of animals, I recommend the book Animal Speak by Ted Andrews. His strong references to the Native American way of life lend credence to his observations about the natural behaviors and spiritual meanings of animals who make their presence known in your life.

In addition to using his book as a starting point of reference, I encourage you to think about what particular animals, birds, reptiles, fish, and insects mean to you. Your personal signs and messages will always carry more import than definitions that come from outside of yourself. For instance, for me, cardinals are always a positive sign of good things to come. This is because I have historically experienced positive events whenever a cardinal has made an appearance in my life. Blue jays on the other hand, indicate potential trouble swooping down. Blue jays are very protective and aggressively guard their nests by attacking any perceived threat. They are a sign to me that I should be on guard and remain aware that a negative situation could have an impact on my life. Additionally, their presence is a reminder to pay close attention to my surroundings and, especially, to the behavior of those around me.

Cardinals and blue jays may hold different meanings for you due to your own experiences. If you are unsure of what the presence of a particular bird, animal, reptile, etc., means, then that is a good time to pull out your reference books to look up the general spiritual meaning. If you cannot find a spiritual meaning for a particular animal, bird, fish, etc., I recommend learning about the natural habitats and behaviors of the animals, for this will give you clues about the message that they are trying to send you.

As you become more aware of the presence of nature in your life, as well as the spiritual messages that nature is trying to communicate to you, you may begin to see that the signs of nature can also be found in objects created by humankind. Photographs, drawings and text that contain references to nature, such as an image of a fox on the side of a truck that passes you, could be a sign or a message for you. This is especially true when you keep seeing the same animals, reptile, bird, etc., over and over again. When that happens, I recommend trying to figure out the meaning of the message as Spirit is trying to get your attention and provide answers to your questions.

The deep respect and appreciation that the Native American Indians have for nature and Her creatures demonstrates many lessons for us in this modern world that are still relevant today. All of nature is a gift that we should appreciate and nurture as its very presence is what sustains our lives. Beyond the most basic factor of ensuring our survival, there is the deep well of knowledge that is passed on to us by nature that feeds our Spirit, as well.

The Beauty and Messages in Music

When we hear music, it is not a jumble of sounds mashed together but an incredible blending of sounds designed to reach out and touch our souls. Music is a powerful emotional stimulator. It can make us laugh, cry, want to dance, etc. Moviemakers use it all the time to stir our emotions while watching a film. Music speaks to our souls. Spirit works with musicians as invisible muses, inspiring and sharing musical scores and lyrics with artists to send messages to the world. All music, whether it is joyful or sad, speaks to the soul.

Every day, we hear songs on the radio, jingles on TV, soundtracks from movies, streaming from the Internet, someone singing a song as they walk down the street, and in our mind. The songs may seem random; however, at times, they carry messages of import from the Other Side.

Did you ever have a song come on the radio that matches exactly what you were thinking at that very moment or that expresses exactly how you feel about a particular situation in your life? Is it a coincidence or is it Spirit sending you a message? Because I am very aware of Spirit and the way they send messages, I know it is our Heavenly Support Teams at work. They do this for you, too, which is why I am sharing this information with you. That way, you, too, can share in the wonderful experience of recognizing when Spirit is touching your life and sending you personal messages.

When you have a song that is playing in your head, have you ever wondered why you are hearing it? The song, as well as the lyrics, may be providing you with an answer to a problem you are experiencing or it may be a deceased loved one who is letting you know that they are near.

Listen to what you are hearing as there may be a message in it for you. The song may bring up memories of a particular time of year (which may be your answer as to when an event will occur or your problem will be resolved) or it may be providing you with an actual answer to your problem. Songs also may turn your thoughts toward memories of a deceased loved one. For instance, when I hear the Beatles’ song “Michelle” in my head, I know that my best friend, Michele, who passed away more than two decades ago, is nearby and sending me her love. At other times, when I was struggling with a particularly vexing issue, I would hear “All You Need Is Love.” That one always makes me smile and helps me to get back to what really matters, the giving and receiving of love.

It is important to note that music that carries hateful or violent messages are not a sign or message from Spirit, but a reflection of souls who have not yet seen the light. The deep angst and anger that causes musicians to compose that kind of music represents the darkness that could take over our lives if we do not strive to overcome the negative messages of ego that are based on the illusion of fear.

By becoming more aware of your personal soundtrack of music, that which you hear in your mind or that drifts into your ears at just the right time, will enable you to better recognize the auditory messages and signs from Spirit that you have been receiving all along.

How to Interpret Your Dreams – Part Two

Last week, in “How to Interpret Your Dreams – Part One,” I talked about working on remembering your dreams and recording the ones you have. This week, I will share with you a method for deciphering the messages within your dreams.

Are you ready to interpret your dream? If so, grab a pen and paper. Look at the symbols and objects in your dream. Take it one section at a time. For instance, say you are driving a car down the highway. Without thinking about it too much, write down the first thing you think of when you think of a car…for me, I think of a mode of transportation or something that gets me from A to B. Highway = the open road, or road trip for me. For you, a car or the highway may mean something completely different. There is no right or wrong answer. Just remember to use the word association exercise and try not to think too much about your answer. Whatever you think of first is what that symbol or object means to you. Do that for all objects within your dream, as well as all actions. For instance, were you driving toward a particular destination or person? Away from somewhere, someone or something? Joy riding? Were you being chased? All of these factors are important.

Once you have compiled all of your associated words, take an overview of them. You should see a theme emerging that correlates to a situation that is currently occurring in your life. For instance, with the car dream, I may have a strong desire to free myself from responsibilities and obligations in order to travel on a new path…to hit the open road and experience a feeling of being free and looking forward to new adventures.

Keep an open mind. You may not be able to see the theme right away. However, it will come to you. It is important not to stress about it. It may even come to you in the form of an epiphany later in the day. Remember, practice will help you to develop your dream interpretation skills.

On a side note, whenever you see your deceased loved ones in your dreams, it is really them. Dreams give them a chance to let you know that they are around you because your daytime defenses are down. When you encounter a deceased loved one in your dreams, feel free to say hello. Just know, though, that you might wake yourself up in the process because you are interrupting the natural dream cycle. I did that so many times when I saw my Dad in my dreams and was so disappointed when I accidentally woke myself up. As with anything else, practice makes perfect. Dreams are tricky; too much interruption in the message and you wake yourself up.

Most of all, I hope you enjoy your journey into the world of your dreams. The messages are there for you and you can interpret them with an open mind and practice.

How to Prepare for a Spirit Reading with a Medium

When receiving messages from Spirit, it is important to keep an open mind. This is for both me and the recipient of the messages–you. I advise recipients of readings to not concentrate too hard on having one particular person come through because you never know who in Spirit has a message that they would like to pass on to you. Because Spirit sees more than we do, they know which messages you need to receive in your life at the time of the reading. If a particular person does not come through, it does not mean that they do not love you, it may mean that the time is not yet right for them to come through.

In addition, I ask people to not feed me too much personal information about themselves prior to a reading as it takes away the opportunity for Spirit to identify who they are to you. This is important because when I give a reading, I pass along the information that I receive from Spirit in order to validate their identity. The information is unique to you and your life. Spirit passes along information that I would not have in order for you to know that it is them and not me that is providing the messages to you.

Being the recipient of Spirit Medium reading is an extraordinary opportunity for you to receive information about your life, your loved ones, and Heaven. The messages that you receive are of personal importance to you and also for your loved ones here on earth.

It is truly a blessing and an honor to receive messages from Spirit, both for me and the recipients of the readings. I hope that if you ever have the opportunity to receive a reading from a Spirit Medium, that you, too, feel the reverence and importance of the blessing that you are receiving in your life.
