Receiving Divine Messages from Spirits in Heaven

Sunrise at HaleakalaAs a Spirit Medium, I help to connect people with loved ones that have crossed over into heaven, as well as with spirit guides, guardian angels, past spiritual masters, and archangels. Loved ones who come through in a reading include both people and animals. I am constantly delighted and amazed at the messages that come through, as well as the way in which they are communicated.

How Communications from Spirit are Received
When I communicate with spirits, all of my extrasensory senses are utilized. Through clairvoyance, or extrasensory seeing, I am shown motion and still images of the deceased, as well as images that have symbolic meaning for the recipient of the reading. Through clairsentience, or extrasensory feeling, spirits send me physical indicators about the way in which they passed, such as a short sharp pain in the area of my heart which indicates that his or her life ended due to a heart attack. Through clairaudience, or extrasensory hearing, I am able to pick up auditory messages that spirits want to pass along to you. The use of clairalience and clairambience allows me to pick up on messages that are sent through my sense of taste and smell. For instance, I recently had an experience in which the strong taste of cigar smoke came through in a reading. When I shared this information with the recipient of the reading, they confirmed that the loved one coming through was a cigar smoker. Lastly, messages are sent to me using claircognizance, or extrasensory knowing. This is information that is known within my spirit. It is not shared through any of the others senses, it is information that has been downloaded to my mind that I share with the recipient of a reading.

Messages Shared After Loved Ones Have Been Identified
Once a spirit has been clearly recognized by the recipient of a reading through the initial validation process in which identity-revealing information is transmitted, such as about physical characteristics and personality traits, then it is time to share the messages that the spirit wants you to receive. The messages often include love, asking for forgiveness, and comfort about the spirit’s arrival in heaven.

Truthful and Heartfelt Guidance from Heaven
Because these spirits are in heaven, and can better see and understand the process of life on earth, they often offer guidance about your life path. It is important to keep in mind that the gift of divine communication is not to tell you what you necessarily want to hear, but to share with you the truth. The messages you receive are of great importance to the growth of your soul. Because we have been given the gift of free will, it is always up to the recipient of the reading to decide whether to follow the advice that is gifted to them by his or her heavenly support team.

What Happens When You Choose to Ignore Messages from Heaven
Some people have a strong adverse reaction to the messages because it requires that he or she let go of anger, grudges, and negative thought processes that he or she has held onto for a long time. The spirits are telling the person this, not to make the him or her angry or upset, but rather to help this person to release harmful patterns that are holding him or her back from achieving personal happiness, and could even be causing the recipient of the reading emotional, mental, and physical distress. If a person chooses to ignore the messages that spirits have shared with him or her, the spirits will not give up on their quest to help this person. He or she will continue to come across situations that will challenge him or her to grow as a soul, and to open his or her heart and mind to a more positive life path.

What Happens When You Listen to Divine Guidance
I am very happy to report that most people are open to the messages that they receive from spirit during readings. They understand the priceless value of the heavenly guidance that has been given to them. Amazing transformations and events do occur in the lives of the people who do take the messages to heart. I know not only because I am one of them, but also because of the feedback I receive from thankful clients who tell me about the fantastic turn their lives have taken as a result of following the advice given to them by their loved ones in spirit.

Best Advice
When you are the recipient of a spirit medium reading, my best advice is to keep an open mind about who will come through for you, as well as the messages that they will deliver to you about your life. It is a gift of divine guidance and intervention that could completely turn your life around if you listen closely to the information that spirits are sharing with you. This information originates not from the spirit medium who is delivering it, because he or she is only the vessel through which the communication flows, but from your heavenly support team who views your life from a much higher perspective. They want to see you succeed with the life lessons you have chosen for this lifetime, and hope that you recognize the honor and the blessings that they have gifted to you through their heavenly communications with you.

Staying Strong in Spite of Setbacks

Angel Answering PrayersSometimes it seems as though God is delaying the granting of your dreams and answers to your prayers. He is not being mean or cruel to you. Instead, he is preparing the way for you by clearing out obstacles that would have prevented you from living your dreams. Having patience and waiting for his perfect timing may cause you to feel frustration, especially if you feel as though the answers to your prayers have taken a long time to be answered.

Know that God and the angels are working on your behalf. While you are waiting for them to clear your path, take the time to take care of you. Meditate, take care of tasks and responsibilities that need to get done, and take time to play and to participate in activities that bring you joy and happiness.

You are surrounded by your deceased loved ones and angels during this time. They know the waiting can be stressful; however, they are telling you to take a deep relaxing breath and appreciate what is before you right now. The time is coming for your prayers to be answered and your dreams to come true. You just need to hold on a little while longer with hope, faith, and trust in your heart.

Release your concerns to God and your angels, and allow yourself to rest easy. They will not deny you what you most desire in this lifetime. God and your angels support your love-based dreams and prayers. Allow them to do their work by taking care of yourself and your well being. If you have been working too hard, then take time out to play and enjoy yourself. If you have been letting responsibilities slide, then it is time to work on the tasks on your list. As you go about your activities, be open and receptive to the messages that will be sent to you via your intuition, as this is how your next steps will be provided for the manifestation of your dreams and prayers.

When you move forward with absolute trust in the positive outworking of your affairs through faith in your heavenly support team, you will be rewarded in ways that exceed your expectations. For now, place your hands over your heart and take a deep breath in through your nose. As the air enters your body, envision positive energy flowing into your spirit. As you exhale through your mouth, envision yourself releasing all negative and fearful thoughts and expectations. The negative energies will dissipate and be transformed into loving energy by your angels as they are released from your spirit. Repeat this breathing exercise at least three to five times or until you feel a peaceful calm settle over you. By doing so, you are freeing yourself from continual striving, stress, and worry in order to allow God and the angels to step into your situation.

Enjoy the blessing of this day. Your heavenly support team is by your side with each and every step that you take. Trust in their love, and have faith that they will correct situations for you by removing harmful influences or obstacles that are hampering your progress. It is time to welcome the positive into your life by appreciating the beautiful spirit that you are in an environment that is safe, and full of love and blessings.

Coping with the Loss of a Loved One

Into the LightWhen loved ones cross over into Heaven, it can be a painful emotional experience for those who are left behind. We grieve because we miss the physical closeness of the person or pet whose presence made a difference in our lives. In essence, they are continuing on a spiritual journey that we cannot take with them because we are meant to stay here on earth and fulfill our own life purposes.

The feeling of loss can be devastating and heart-wrenching. Trying to continue on with our lives may be difficult as grief threatens to overwhelm our emotional well being. Grief is a natural feeling that accompanies loss; however, grief can be lessened with knowledge. Knowing that our Spirit does not die with our physical bodies lessens the pain of physical separation from our loved ones and changes our perceptions of the “finality” of death.

I am amazed every day with the communications that come through from Spirit. As a Spirit Medium, I know that this is not a residual energy of the person or pet who was here on earth, but an actual transmission of information in real time. They show me what they are doing in Heaven whether it is reuniting with loved ones who have already crossed or engaging in activities that bring them happiness.

Learning and evolving as a soul continues in Heaven. The lessons there are different than they are here on Earth. That is because the environment is completely different. On Earth, there is a lot of negativity and harder lessons to learn. The speed at which our soul evolves is much faster here on Earth due to the challenging circumstances we face. In Heaven, we thoughtfully review the lives that we have lived and determine the lessons we have learned and still need to learn. We embrace the knowledge that was veiled from us on Earth with compassion and understanding for ourselves and others. Anxiety is a thing of the past. From the communications I have received, Heaven is a not just a time to rest in joyful reunion, but also a time to make considerable contributions to all Spirit through meaningful jobs that assist those in Heaven and on Earth. For instance, one may choose to become a Guardian Angel or a Spirit Guide.

By knowing that our Spirit lives on, we can take comfort in knowing that death is not the end but a new beginning…the next phase of our journey and evolvement as a soul. For those here on Earth, the connection of the heart that our loved ones have with us never dies. In fact, it is the love that we hold in the heart of our Spirit that endures and allows communication to continue.

When confronted with the loss of a loved one from this Earth, take comfort in knowing that their Spirit lives on in Heaven and that, when the designated time of your passing arrives, you will be reunited with them. In the meantime, we have our own soul evolvement to attend to on Earth including learning how to release the grief of separation and to move forward with our lives, taking comfort in the love that resides in the heart of our Spirits.

Receiving Messages from Spirit Using the Five Clairs

To communicate with us, Spirit utilizes our five main senses, as well as our databank of memories. All of us, not just Mediums, can be receivers of messages from Spirit. It is a matter being open and receptive to the messages that are being sent, as well as a well-developed intuitive sense, that allows you to recognize them.

As with Mediums, you may be naturally stronger with the receipt of messages through certain senses than with others. For example, you may be more visually-oriented than feeling-oriented. After you have explored your natural abilities and gifts, you can begin to work on improving your skills with the rest.

SensesBrief Definitions and Examples of the Five Clairs

Clairvoyance
Clairvoyance is the visual receipt of information from Spirit. This occurs when we see Spirit or signs from Spirit. For those with this gift, we actually see Spirit manifested or images (motion or still) sent by Spirit in our mind’s eye, also known as the Third Eye. Visual messages from Spirit can also include signs in this world that let you know that Spirit is near. Some of the more common and easy to spot include finding coins on the ground, seeing butterflies or dragonflies, finding feathers, etc. These are signs from our Angels (feathers are their favorites) and deceased loved ones that they are around us.

Clairaudience
Messages received through our sense of hearing are called Clairaudient communications or Clairaudience. This type of communication can be in the voice of Spirit, or it can come through in your own voice. It can also be messages that come through as music or other sounds. There is a knowing, a utilization of your intuition, that indicates to you that this is a message from Spirit and not just a random thought. Spirit may send auditory messages that guide us to be in a particular place at a particular time or to interview for a particular job. With music, it may be the lyrics that are important or that it was a favorite song. Please note that Spirit will never guide you to do something harmful or completely out of character for you. Know that Spirit is there to help you, not harm you or cause you to harm others. They work through Love and anything unloving is not them.

Clairsentience
When you feel the presence of Spirit either physically or receive emotional signals, it is referred to as Clairsentience. For example, when I give readings, I feel slight pain or heaviness in my chest when Spirit is indicating to me that they had a heart attack or problem with their heart while they were here on earth. This information is called a validation and it is used as an indicator to identify who it is that is coming through for you. It is important to note that as a trained Medium, I am very aware of the difference between what is my pain and what is Spirit’s. If you are experiencing unexplained pain, I would recommend that you get it checked out by a physician. Other physical sensations may include the feeling of a depression on the bed in the size and shape of your beloved pet that has passed on.

You may also feel the emotions of Spirit, such as a strong sense of love or happiness. In addition, I often experience/feel the personality traits of Spirit when they come through in a reading, such as eagerness, shyness, or exuberance.

Clairvalience
Spirit also sends us messages through our sense of smell. This is called Clairalient communication or Clairalience. Have you ever been somewhere when you suddenly smelled cookies baking or someone’s perfume or cologne and there was no logical source for that scent to be in the air? Who is it that you are reminded of when you pick up those scents? It is exactly who you think it is, be it your mother, grandmother, father, friend, spouse, etc.

Clairvoyance
Clairambience is the receipt of messages through the sense of taste. It works in a manner similar to Clairalience, when you can actually taste a food, such as an orange, or another substance, such as the bitter taste of certain medications, without it actually being in your mouth. I do experience this; however, it is not as prevalent as the other four Clairs in my readings.

Abilities and Gifts

All of us are born with the ability to communicate with Spirit, whether it is in simple or complex ways. As with all gifts, some people have stronger abilities than others. For instance, while I can play golf, it does not mean that I will win the LPGA or even become a pro, no matter how many lessons I take or how much I practice. It does mean, however, that I can enjoy the game. It is the same with psychic and mediumship gifts. Some of you may have enough of the gifts to enjoy them, while others of you may be or become strong vessels for the receipt and interpretation of Spirit messages. No matter what your level of ability, if Spirit is meant to communicate with you, they will, whether it is directly with you or with the assistance of a Medium.

Spirit is always around us. They take great joy in knowing that their messages have been received. I hope you enjoy your exploration of the Clairs. Keep in mind that you can always ask your Angels for help and guidance with the development of your gifts and abilities.

What Happens When We Cross Over into Heaven?

Into the LightThrough my communication with Spirit, I have been given great insight into what happens to our own Spirit when our physical bodies expire here on earth. Every soul is given the opportunity to cross over into Heaven. Our way is lit by an incredible white light, shimmering with facets of rainbow colors that is almost blinding in its brilliance. The Spirit of those who have crossed over before us, as well as Angels, Spirit Guides and Past Spiritual Masters, may all be there to help us with our transition and to show us the way.

Once we have crossed, the veil is lifted and we are once again reunited with the knowledge and understanding that may have eluded us when we were in human form. We review our lives in a non-judgmental way to see how our soul progressed on its earthly journey. Forgiveness, healing, and compassion are extended to us and by us as we understand the reasons for why we acted the way we did and for the choices that we made.

Our soul continues to evolve while in Heaven but in a more joyous way. We learn new skills, volunteer for jobs and special assignments, and learn to exist within the peace and harmony that surrounds us as we await our reunions with members of our soul group – family, friends, and loved ones who have yet to cross over. Some may choose to come back to earth for more lessons; however, most choose to wait for the reunions with their soul groups before coming back again.

The souls on earth who, in great sadness and desperation, take their own lives, are also given the opportunity to cross over into Heaven. This does not mean that there is not an extremely high price to pay. I cannot express strongly enough that suicide is never the answer to life’s problems. Instead of a rejoicing reunion with loved ones who have already crossed over, these souls move forward to a place of great healing which I refer to as the “Spiritual Hospital” in Heaven. There is a tremendous amount of spiritual pain that must be healed when these troubled souls realize the extent of what they had lost out on by interrupting their soul’s carefully planned evolvement through life on earth. This is an incredibly wrenching experience for souls who were already deeply troubled while they were here. Help is given to them at the Spiritual Hospital for as long as it takes and, when they are ready, they are free to rejoin the rest of the population in Heaven for their reunions and continued soul growth.

Ultimately, we choose whether or not we want to travel through the doorway to Heaven. We all have free will, even when it comes to a decision such as that. Some of those who choose not to cross may do so out of fear, doubt, or confusion. There are many reasons for this. Some souls fear that others will not survive without them, they may doubt where they are being led, or they may be confused about the fact that they are no longer living on earth. This does not mean that the door to Heaven is closed to them. Once their particular door closes, these souls will then need assistance with their crossing, such as an opening provided when someone else crosses or with the help of a Medium. Until assistance arrives, they reside in Spirit between worlds and may be upset or confused. If you suspect that you have a Spirit such as this around you, it is best to contact a Medium who can help them cross over into the light.

The most important message that Spirit wants you to understand is that Heaven does exist. Take comfort in knowing that your Spirit continues on after your body ceases to exist here on earth. Live well and love during your time here on earth, knowing that all of your experiences here are for the evolution of your soul and that Heaven awaits when your Spirit is ready for its next destination.

How Spirit Communicates with Mediums

Heavenly CloudsMany people that I meet have questions about how I communicate with Spirit. Some of them are under the impression that it is just like a conversation or a video that tells me everything in a straightforward manner. This is not the case. Even though portions of the communication do come across that way, most of it is much more complex than that.

Spirit communicates with me through a series of images, feelings, physical indicators, thoughts, tastes, smells, outward signs, etc. I explain to the recipients of my Spirit Medium readings that the information that I receive is like an abstract puzzle that needs to be pieced together. The following is a very brief synopsis of how it all works for me.

The process of giving a reading involves a fascinating, high-speed blend of information that needs to be quickly recognized, decoded, and interpreted. To begin the process, I concentrate on opening up my mind, heart, body, spirit, and aura to the Light. This serves to heighten my receptivity to Spirit communication through the super activation of all of my senses and raises my energy level up to meet that of Spirit. The connection is then made with Spirit through the supreme source of love that flows throughout all beings.

As I flow through the reading, I focus on the task of accurately receiving, interpreting, and sharing the information transferred to me from Spirit. First and foremost, I need to determine who is coming through, their relationship to you, as well as the specific messages that Spirit wants to share with you. The ultimate purpose of Spirit coming through for you is to provide healing for you, whether that is in the form of reassurance that they are in Heaven or guidance about your life, etc.

Spirit uses symbols, imagery, sounds, etc. from my knowledge and memory bank (aka. “databank”). Since my databank of experiences is unique to me, symbols, etc. that come through for me may have an entirely different meaning for another Medium. With each Medium, Spirit knows what information to use within our unique databanks to get their information through.

It always amazes me how creative Spirit is when communicating with me. They often overlap symbols, thoughts, feelings, physical indicators, etc. to express their messages. Sometimes people expect Spirit to tell them extremely specific information such as a title to a song, but if that is a song that I have never heard, it may be very complicated and challenging for Spirit to send that information, as well as for me to receive and interpret it.

All in all, Spirit communication is a wonderful, yet complex process that requires a tremendous amount of energy to complete. I hope that this information helps you to better understand the process and to appreciate the effort it takes from both Spirit and Mediums to get those incredible, blessed messages through to you.
