Recognizing Signs from Heaven Is Important to Your Life Path

Life on Earth is an accelerated course for soul evolution. We have voluntarily opted to live a lifetime on Earth to learn lessons for the development of our souls, and the negativity we encounter speeds up the process. In Heaven, negativity does not exist. Soul development does occur there; however, the lessons are based more on the giving of service, learning about the many levels of existence, and exploring the multi-faceted methods for communicating across planes.

In our journey through life, we are not left to our own devices. Each of us is given extra assistance from our Heavenly Support Team, which includes God, the angels, loved ones in spirit, and spirit guides. They send us signs and messages on a daily basis that can help guide us on our life paths. The key to unlocking the knowledge that is at our disposal is to learn how to recognize and decipher the communications that are being sent from your support team in Heaven. The benefits to receiving this insider advice is almost immeasurable, as it can have far-reaching effects on the positive development of your soul.

Ascension Removes the Veil

When our loved ones ascend to Heaven, knowledge that was obscured from them while on Earth is revealed, giving them a better understanding of the reasons behind their experiences on Earth. They do not become all-knowing, but they do attain greater insight that enables them to see the events on Earth from a more informed perspective. This insight can be utilized to help you navigate your life path if you open yourself to the guidance that is shared by your Heavenly Support Team.

In addition to your loved ones in Heaven, you have seasoned spirit guides and angels that have specific knowledge about your chosen life path. They have access to your Akashic Records, which contain information about your past incarnations, as well as the plans for your current incarnation on Earth. The plans contain the life lessons you have chosen to learn, as well as an outline of certain events that could potentially occur in your lifetime. These events could be major turning points in your soul’s evolution that come as a result of the choices you make about you, your relationships, your thought processes, and your purpose. In essence, you are never alone. There is always a kind and loving spirit nearby who is willing to assist you with your life path. Having an open mind, and a heightened level of awareness about the existence and presence of these spiritual beings, are the first steps you can take toward recognizing and receiving messages from your Heavenly Support Team.

Your Personal Tour Guides of Life

Every day, you can receive messages from spirit that are like sign posts directing you toward the best path in your daily life, which also impacts your overall life plan. It is similar to having extremely knowledgeable tour guides to help you navigate the vast experiences of life on Earth. Because these tour guides are in an energetic form of spirit and have advanced communication abilities, they utilize all our senses to get their messages across to us. The greatest challenge they have in communicating with human beings is the built-in system that purposefully creates obstacles through the illusion of fear. This system is referred to as the human ego. It is the seat of negative thoughts that tell you this cannot be possible, that you will not succeed, or that signs and messages from spirit are just a coincidence. You can teach yourself to break past the negative illusions and thoughts to experience the extraordinary connections with your Heavenly Support Team.

Breaking through the Wall

The mental block that is put in place when we are born, otherwise known as the human ego, is a wall that can be breeched through conscious awareness of the existence of life beyond the human experience. The first step to managing the negativity created by the human ego is to recognize when thoughts of failure, dismissal, and self-depreciation enter our minds. Halt those thoughts in their tracks by acknowledging their presence and thinking “STOP” in your mind. Then, replace those thoughts with positive affirmations or beliefs about the topic. For example, if you catch yourself thinking the repeated references you keep seeing about your loved one in Heaven are just a coincidence, say “STOP” in your mind, and replace it with “There are no coincidences. These are signs from my loved one in Heaven.”

By opening your mind to the extraordinary possibilities of the universe and trusting that loving spirits do exist on other planes, you can consciously open the communication channel that moves past the ego and delivers specific and helpful guidance for your life path.

Everyone Is Born with the Gift of Mediumship

Everyone is born with the ability to communicate via spirit. It is the way we communicate with God, the angels, our loved ones in spirit, spirit guides, and each other. Our prayers, thoughts, and requests for assistance are sent to God, the angels, and our loved ones using telepathic transmissions from one spirit to another, similar to the way in which wireless signals are sent from one computer to another.

When we communicate with each other on Earth, these signals are being sent back and forth via our spirits; however, it is something that occurs in the background of conscious awareness. When you are speaking with someone, you know in your heart when a person’s words do not sound or feel right. There may be a nagging thought in the back of your mind or a slight clenching of your stomach muscles that may be indicating to you that this person is not speaking his or her truth. This intuitive information is coming from your spirit which houses a higher consciousness and understanding of spirit-to-spirit communication.

Even though everyone is born with the gift of mediumship, it does not mean that everyone on Earth is destined to be a spirit medium who shares his or her gifts on a professional level. Just as certain people are born with the ability to excel in sports, others are born with the ability to excel in spirit communication. Your path is unique to you, and if mediumship is your calling, you will know it. If it is not, you can still learn how to use the gifts you have in order to communicate with your Heavenly Support Team in a way that will benefit you and your loved ones.

A Map to Lead the Way

The benefits of tuning in to the positive messages which come from enlightened beings in Heaven can be equated to being given a map to help you find the most beneficial path to get to your destination, which is the evolvement of your soul through life lessons. Please know that spiritual beings will not give you all the answers or solve all your problems for you. They will sometimes only provide sign posts or messages to guide you along the way. It is your job as a soul seeking knowledge and learning lessons to make decisions through free will. If you were given all the answers, lessons would not be learned and there would be no point in taking the journey.

Examples of Heavenly Signs

There are many ways that our Heavenly Support Team sends us messages. It is an abstract form of communication that uses all our senses and goes beyond straightforward verbal and non-verbal cues. Your mind must be open to experiencing and recognizing the extraordinary in the ordinary that surrounds you each day.

Here are a few of the more common methods used to transmit messages:

Music and Sounds

Songs you hear in your head or that play on the radio at seemingly coincidental times, are often messages from spirit. Pay attention to the lyrics that you are hearing. If you do not know all the words to the song or the title, look it up. There is a message in it for you about a current event in your life. You could also be hearing music that reminds you of a loved one who has passed away. For instance, my dad loved the band, I often hear “Don’t Stop Believing” in my head or on the radio at times when I need a positive boost. As a note, negative songs and lyrics telling you to hurt others or yourself are not sent from your Heavenly Support Team. They only send positive or helpful messages to help you navigate your life.

You may also receive direct guidance through words or phrases you hear within your mind or outside of yourself, whether in a vision or while fully-awake. This may come through in their voice or in your own. When it is coming through in your own voice, it will feel like a thought that is not your own and you will wonder where it came from. The messages are always helpful in big and small ways. Some may even be life-changing.

Visual Clues

When you see an object or image that reminds you of a loved one, it is them letting you know that they are around and that they are sending their love. For instance, one morning I turned on my television and there was a show on about model trains that popped up on the screen. I have no idea what channel I had left the television on the night before, but this was odd because it appeared to be a very old show from the 1960s. I immediately knew this was my dad letting me know that he was around and that he was sending me his love. His major hobby was collecting model trains. There are no coincidences in this world, and many people may have written that off as strange, but if you open your mind, you can learn how to recognize these subtle, and not-so-subtle, messages from spirit.

When sending guidance, pay attention to repeated messages that you see or read. Your Heavenly Support Team will place visual items in your path to help provide answers or guidance. Again, there are no coincidences. Pay attention to repetitious messages and signs as they are trying to help you.

Feeling a Presence or Receiving a Physical Indicator

Some people on Earth have a very strong sense of extrasensory feeling, or clairsentience. They can physically feel the presence of a loved one in spirit. I often feel the presence of my cats who are in Heaven when I lay down to go to sleep. I feel the warmth of their love in the shape of their bodies that they had on Earth. It feels like a living cat has curled up next to me, and it may be accompanied by the feeling of a slight depression in the bed where they are laying. This may sound scary to some who have not experienced it; however, for those of us who have, it is comforting to feel the warmth and affection of loved ones in spirit.

When guidance is coming through the sense of feeling, you may experience a feeling that something is off with a situation, which may be accompanied by a clenching of your stomach. If it is an uplifting feeling of joy or great hope, you are being given approval to move forward.

Scent in the Air

Have you ever picked up on a scent in the air that does not seem to fit in with your surroundings, such as cookies baking in your office or cigar smoke in a non-smoking hotel? Loved ones in spirit alter the molecules in the air to pipe in certain scents that remind you of them. It could be the smell of their perfume or a mechanic’s garage. When you pick up these unusual scents in the air that seem to have no logical source, who is it that you think of? Is it your grandmother who baked great cookies for family gatherings? Is it your father who used to love working on cars and often came home smelling of grease and oil from his mechanic’s garage? The scents are usually strong and distinct, and they may be picked up on by others in your vicinity. That is because the scent is piped into the air when they send this type of message to you.

Guidance through the sense of smell can sometimes have unusual connotations. For example, my Heavenly Support Team uses the scent of a skunk to indicate someone is on the defensive. When this occurs, I know to handle the situation with great care as the person I am talking to may not be able to hear what needs to be said because they are too busy feeling as though they need to defend themselves or that they do not want to be negatively perceived for their decisions.

Cravings Out of the Blue

Have you ever had a sudden craving for your deceased mother’s apple pie, a craving so strong that you can taste it in your mouth? This is yet another way that spirit sends messages to us. The way they send this message is similar to the way they send messages that utilize our sense of smell. They alter the molecules in the air to send energy associated with certain tastes to the sensors in our mouths. This type of message is usually confused with physical cravings for certain foods. It is important when you experience a very strong craving to take a moment to think about whether this is a message being sent from spirit. Do you associate what you are craving with a particular loved one in Heaven? If so, acknowledge the loved one in spirit for their presence and the sign they sent. Know that they are there to support you in your endeavors and want you to know they are there for you.

Share Your Gratitude

When you recognize the signs sent by your Heavenly Support Team, be sure to thank them for their efforts. They are always pleased when their transmissions are successful because it means that you are open and paying attention to their loving messages and guidance. You can also ask them for clarity and for more signs to reinforce the direction they would like you to go.

Resilience through Trust and Faith

Sunrise at Haleakala, Maui, HawaiiCircumstances beyond our control can sometimes be the cause for much angst in our lives. Everyone experiences stress; however, how we handle it and what we decide to do about it determines whether it will take over our lives or whether we will overcome it.

Faith and Trust are Earned and Learned

Having faith and trust is not a given. It is a choice that is made which includes the surrendering of the human ego that always wants to control outcomes. Anyone can say they have faith, but to live it is to experience it with all of your being. In our lifetimes on this earth, we will face many challenging circumstances that may make us question the existence of God and whether or not God is helping us and loves us. Trying circumstances are not tests or punishments, but rather opportunities to truly experience God through choices made with our free will. As we power through the tough times, it is often difficult to see the positive reasons for negative circumstances. One of the most important lessons I have learned in this lifetime is to continually look for the positive lessons and outcomes buried deep within negative situations and encounters. The more I have practiced this approach, the more I can see how events are facilitated on this plane for the benefit of all. In turn, my faith in God and the circumstances I face has significantly grown, bringing inner peace, understanding, knowledge, trust, and love to the heart of my being. No longer do I allow circumstances to overwhelm me to the point of immobility. Short bursts of fear, upset, or shock can and do creep in at times, especially at the onset of receiving news that unexpectedly causes a significant change of plans; however, I do my best to quickly let go of the fearful reactions from the human ego. As I work through the issues, I acknowledge the situation, knowing there is a positive purpose I may or may not understand at the time. I then begin the process of actively working on solutions for the best path for me, as well as for those involved. It is my faith and trust in my guys and gals in heaven, also known as my Heavenly Support Team, which brings the state of calm necessary for clarity in decision making.

The Cultivation Process

Over the years, I have cultivated great trust in myself and my Heavenly Support Team. Through the trying circumstances, they have taught me time and again that they are here to help and guide me when it is appropriate for them to step in and assist. It is important to note that they will withhold information when it is time for me to make pivotal decisions about my life. Free will to choose our paths is a gift given to us when we were created. The times when our guys and gals step back may be marked by a silence or an absence of feeling your personal loved ones in spirit around you. They are there; however, they are not allowed to interfere or influence your decision making process.

Shouldn’t we be Independent?

People have asked me why I would want help from my Heavenly Support Team. If we have free will and are supposed to grow through our independence, why would it be appropriate to ask for and receive help on this journey? While it is important to learn and make decisions on our own, it is equally important to know we are not alone on our journeys. Life on earth can be difficult and challenging; however, it holds many rewards.  Our guys and gals in heaven know this, and they know working together creates unity and synchronicity which greatly increases success for each individual, as well as for soul groups. The success they are helping us work towards is spiritual success. Our lives here are not about what jobs we have worked or money we have earned. Those are mundane aspects of life which are used as tools for lesson learning. Instead, our true mission is a spiritual one of the soul in which we learn to actively love ourselves and others while rediscovering the amazing connections we have with God and all of creation. Our guys and gals in heaven do what they can to be our cheerleaders, our guides, and our mentors. They are not interfering with our growth but supporting it through their love and knowledge while allowing us to make all of the important decisions on our own.

Improving Results

In this challenging maze of life, we are also here to help and be helped. No man or woman is an island. We are here to learn how to love one another and how to work with one another. Being open to giving and receiving from both earthly and heavenly sources is one of our largest lessons here, because it is based in love – the reason for our existence. There is no shame in asking for help when you need it. We are all a significant part of a team who, together, are experiencing a spiritual journey for our souls as human beings. When we open our hearts and minds with a fearlessness born out of trust and faith, we become resilient travelers who can overcome adversity and do anything we set our minds to accomplish. When we work together with those on earth and in heaven, the achievements have the potential to be even greater as the combined energies and unique talents greatly multiply the love and positive results.

Delving Deep

On earth, much of the knowledge built into our souls is often veiled from us. This is done to provide the challenges we requested in the form of soul contracts, which are the plans for the lessons we are to learn while we are here. One of our quests is to delve deep into our souls in order to bring the knowledge to light. It is a lifelong journey beset with challenges and setbacks, but also great rewards in the form of grace, inner peace, and love.

Reawaken Your Soul

Through my experiences, my Heavenly Support Team has earned my trust by showing me there is a world much bigger than ours and everything we experience here is for the beautiful reawakening of our souls to the light and love of heaven grounded within the hearts of our spirits. It is my hope and prayer for each and every being to recognize the great love from which we are created, as well as comprehend the vital importance of resilience built upon trust and faith in the divine reasons for our existence.

Defining Your Life Purpose

For some, the recognition of a life purpose comes as a calling or a moment of complete understanding of what your mission is in this lifetime. It is a very strong inner-knowing of your purpose that cannot be denied. For me, it was an amazing moment in which I finally understood what my calling was in life. The events leading up to this moment were carefully orchestrated by my guys and gals in heaven, also known as my heavenly support team. As the realization hit me that I was a spirit medium, I experienced a vision in which every experience in my life lit up like a star in a sapphire blue sky. The stars lit up one by one in a spiral curving inward which was signifying my earthly journey from one level to the next. The center star shined the brightest and magnified in intensity as I looked at it. I knew in my soul that the center star represented that exact moment in time in which I finally realized I was a spirit medium. I knew it was my calling to help people through the wondrous gifts I had been given. It truly was one of the most profound moments of my life.

Listening to the Call of Your Spirit
Not all people experience that extraordinary moment of profound recognition about his or her life purpose. Sometimes, the call is more subtle and may come to you through repeated thoughts or messages. For instance, you may feel strong urges to create artwork. At the same time, you may also experience repeated outward signs that crop up and attempt to point you in the direction of your life purpose. Friends or strangers may suddenly show their appreciation for your artwork and tell you about upcoming art exhibitions. You may also see job listings for artists pop up on your social media newsfeeds or sale advertisements for the materials you use to create your artwork.

Unique Paths
Each person’s purpose for existing on this planet is unique to each individual, and yet, we are all entwined with one another through a complex web of cause and effect that is carefully planned out prior to our birth on earth. While in heaven, we agree to participate in and experience certain events in our lifetimes that not only advance the growth of our own souls, but also help others with their life lessons. Please note, though, that each second of our lives is not mapped out. It is more like a “choose your own adventure” book in which you choose an action from a list of potential actions, and you see where it takes you. There is no wrong path to take, because all paths lead you to the same place. Even when it seems like we are making mistakes, we are not. The seeming mistakes are pathways to learning that help us to avoid similar pitfalls in the future, and they lead us on detours that add value to our journey.

Know Thyself
Your life purpose may or may not involve positively impacting humankind for decades to come. You may be playing a supporting role to others, or you may be destined to contribute in both small and large ways. For example, one person may be destined to become a music legend who inspires people through the songs and compositions he or she creates, while another may be destined to work from home caring for and nurturing their children. The roles that each of us play in our lifetimes not only affect the people who are immediately around us, but also many others in current and future generations.

With the music legend, it is easy to see how that person is positively influencing others outside of their immediate circle of friends and family. With the stay at home dad or mom, the scope of his or her reach may not be revealed in this lifetime, but possibly in the next as the child or children that he or she raises may be destined to become a leader who positively impacts the world. Either way, we all have important jobs to do. Determining what that job is requires an excellent relationship with yourself, including an acknowledged awareness of your likes, dislikes, and talents, as well as a willingness to love who you are. Pay close attention to the messages you receive from within, as well as the confirmation you receive from without, regarding your life purpose.

Signs Point the Way
Throughout your life, you have been given many signs and messages about your life purpose. Do not worry, though, if you have not decoded or defined them yet. Your journey is unique to you, and it is a journey to be enjoyed. You really are in the perfect place for you at this moment in time. Attempting to measure the success of your journey by comparing yourself to others is an unfortunate waste of time, because no two people walk the same exact path. Instead, concentrate on finding the joy in your own journey and allow yourself to be open to the signs that are pointing you to paths that will bring you the most happiness and success.

Questions to Ask Yourself
To help determine your life path, I have compiled some questions designed to help you recognize the patterns that have been occurring in your own life.

When you were growing up, what did you always dream of doing or becoming?
Whether you dreamed of being a firefighter, ballerina, actress, pilot, baker, cook, scientist, doctor, or fashion designer, there are clues hidden within these occupations and childhood dreams that will help you uncover your life purpose. For instance, when I was twelve, I really wanted to become a psychologist. The desire behind that dream was to help people work through emotional issues in order to bring them healing. As it turns out, I share the gift of healing every day through my work as a spirit medium by helping people with deep issues that touch their hearts and souls.

Have you had strong and repeated visions about performing your vocation? Did you at any time attempt to follow your dreams? If so, what actions did you take?
Growing up, I also dreamt of being on stage in front of large groups of people. I participated in school plays, musicals, and community theatre, and as an adult, I gave hundreds of presentations and worked as a professional actress. All of my experiences on stage, in front of the camera, and on the radio have enabled me to be very comfortable speaking in front of large groups of people and on film. Today, I work on stage providing large group readings and motivational presentations, I am on the radio, and I create videos. The dreams I had, and the actions I took, help me with the work I currently perform. As a young girl, did I think I would be working as a spirit medium on stage? No, I did not. I did, however, end up on stage in front of large groups of people.

What activities bring you the most joy?
Pay attention to the activities you like to perform. For example, do you enjoy gardening, caring for babies or animals, problem-solving, cooking, helping others to succeed, driving, or designing your own jewelry? Have you ever wondered why you like certain activities over others? Natural talents and skills have been gifted to you for good reasons. Are there ways that you can use your skills to develop a successful occupation? Have you already done that?

For as long as I can remember, I loved reading and learning about ghosts, the paranormal, tarot, intuition, life after death, nature, mediumship, animals, crystals, and just about anything positive in the New Age genre. Prior to re-awakening to my gifts, I did not realize that my fascination with these topics were pointing me in the direction of my true vocation. Even as I read about spirit mediums, I would think about how much I would love to be able to be one. I find it interesting that I had not come across a book that would have given me the last piece of the puzzle I needed to realize that I already was a spirit medium. It was because the time was not right for me to become fully aware my gifts. My guys and gals in heaven knew when I needed to reawaken, and I believe that is why my calling came at the perfect time. They needed me to fulfill other tasks in order to be fully prepared to step into my gifts.

Life Purpose Revealed
Try not to worry or stress about determining your life purpose. Mine was revealed to me later in life, and as I look back, I can see that my calling arrived with impeccable timing. Yours will, too. Each person’s experience with the discovery of his or her life purpose is different. It may come as an epiphany, or as an inner-knowing that you feel when you are performing actions that are in harmony with your life plan. It is important to note that I was in my thirties when I experienced my epiphany, and I was not actively trying to determine my life purpose. Prior to that, I explored several career paths and job opportunities. Even though they were not the ultimate assignments of my calling, my experiences served very important purposes for the work that I currently perform.

When the time is right for you, your life purpose will be revealed. In the meantime, do what you love and love what you do. Focus on the activities that bring you the most joy, and listen to the positive inner-promptings that you receive. Place your trust in your higher self and your heavenly support team as you are actively guided on your path. Pay attention to the signs, repeated messages, and validations you receive about being on the right path…because you are on the best path for you. Even if you are unsure of your ultimate destination, your life purpose will be revealed with impeccable divine timing.

A Journey of Faith and Spirituality

What does it mean to have faith? What does it take to have it? On the surface, these questions seem to have simple answers. To have faith is to believe in God and all you need to do is make a decision to believe. However, there is much more to faith than what appears to be on the surface. It is actually a very personal and deep journey into the soul which comes about from many trying and joyous circumstances. Decisions about faith may come many times in your life as situations arise which require faith to make your way through them. It is not as simple as saying you have faith or even just deciding to have it. Living with faith means consciously making decisions to trust in the plans made for you by God, especially when circumstances rock you to your very core.

We are All Spiritual Seekers

As human beings we are on a spiritual journey. We are seekers on a path filled with pitfalls and celebrations which provide us with answers, more questions, angst, and peace. We decide for ourselves what we are going to believe and we act according to those beliefs. We make real-time choices every day based on the knowledge we have acquired, and in doing so, we reaffirm or fight against the concept of faith within us. Seeking and questioning is an important part of our individual journeys. We have been given the gift of free will to find our way back to God and the knowledge that has been veiled from us when we were born on this Earth.

My Personal Spiritual Journey

During my own spiritual journey, which has been decades in the making, I have learned to trust in the circumstances I face. Whether negative or positive, there is always a positive reason for them. It took me a long time to understand this. When I look back on my life and the way events have transpired, I can clearly see why certain experiences had to occur. The same can be said for you, as well. On a human level, I may not initially be happy about unexpected turns in my path which come about through negative circumstances; however, when they are in the midst of occurring, I remind myself there has to be a good reason for the change in my path. This helps me to work on remaining calm in the face of a storm. Feelings of disappointment or hurt may be there on the surface; however, they are quicker to dissipate when reminding myself that everything has a reason for occurring. When analyzing circumstances, there are times when I clearly see why my path was redirected and others in which I am still waiting for the answers. In the meantime, I accept the changes and move forward with trust in my Heavenly Support Team to lead me to the best opportunities and situations for me. Your Heavenly Support Team will do this for you, as well.

A Challenging Lesson

One of the hardest lessons I needed to learn was to have faith in the bigger picture for regarding the soul contracts filled with life lessons for me. These plans were agreed upon prior to my birth and include situations which will challenge me to learn and grow as a soul. As a human being, this knowledge has been veiled from me temporarily in order to provide optimum learning conditions. Within my heart, I had a very strong desire to share my life with a wonderful partner. This desire has led to many lessons about heartache, self-worth, perceptions about my life, and my life purpose. After years of looking outside of myself for love, I discovered the importance of loving who I am and accepting that I may or may not have someone to share my life with. It took a long time to get to that place; however, now that I have, I no longer feel the pressure to adhere to an ideal that may not be meant for me. When looking back at my life, I appreciate the lessons I learned while also seeing why a relationship with a significant other may have gotten in the way of the work I was being called upon to do as a spirit medium. This does not mean I will not have a partner or companion, it just means that up to this point, I can clearly understand why I had the experiences I did, including the life lessons.

Sharing the Blessings with You

By sharing this with you, I hope to help you to open your mind and your heart to the amazing opportunities heading your way. Even if your path has been challenging, it does not mean it will remain that way. Faith was a hard-earned and worthy gift to have received. It came from experiences both big and small which reinforced that God really is there for me, and that no matter what happens, I am on the right path for me.

Faith is believing in God and the soul contracts you made for this lifetime. It is believing there are positive reasons for negative circumstances and trusting in the circumstances you find yourself in. It is about forgiveness of the self and others and, most of all, it is about actively accepting the loving guidance from above.

You have all of the tools you need to reach a similar place in your life. It takes work and reminders. It takes forgiveness and getting up again after a setback. Believe in yourself and trust in the plans tailored for you to become the best soul you can be in this lifetime and beyond. God will light your way. Pay attention to the signs and listen within for instructions regarding your next steps. If you are having a difficult time understanding the instructions, take a step back. Meditate on the answers or calmly wait for clearer messages. For an entire year the only message my guys and gals in Heaven would give me was “move forward without fear” whenever I asked about my life path. This was a faith-building lesson to learn how to trust in the circumstances I was in because they were helping me every step of the way. I followed the instructions from my Heavenly Support Team, even when I was struggling to keep the faith. Today, I can look back and see just how beautifully they organized the various experiences of my life and how far I have come.

Can Loved Ones in Spirit See Us From Heaven?

path to the beachPeople often ask me if loved ones in spirit can see us after they have crossed over into Heaven. The short answer is yes; however, there is much more to a soul’s existence in Heaven beyond seeing events on Earth. Through the countless communications I have received from beings in spirit, I have learned a great deal that I would like to share with you about our existence beyond life on Earth.

From Physical Body to the Soul’s Energy Form

Once our loved ones in spirit cross over into Heaven, their existence changes in profound ways. They are no longer hampered by the physical body they had on Earth. Any physical pain they experienced is gone as the soul in pure energy form. The soul moves forward to its next destination, Heaven, which is the home base of all souls. Even though souls are in energy form, they often mirror the way they looked in life. This familiar form helps souls to transition into their new existence in Heaven in a comforting way. Once souls have acclimated to the heavenly plane, they can alter their appearance. Loved ones in spirit often show me they have opted to take the form of their younger selves, or an age in which they were happy.

Guides for New Arrivals

The newly arrived are often paired with an angelic guide or loved one in spirit who has already crossed over in order to help with the reorientation process. The guides teach or remind the new arrival of how he or she can visit loved ones on Earth, as well as how to send signs alerting those on Earth of his or her presence. Many people report unusual occurrences when a loved one passes, such as seeing a loved one in spirit in their dreams or even seeing them standing by their bedside in energy form around the time of his or her passing. In addition, they may send signs to let you know they are in Heaven. It could be a visual sign, such as the one my great aunt received when she asked her sister where she was after she passed. My great aunt was cleaning out her closet at the time and a book fell at her feet from the shelf above. The book’s title had something to do with time in Heaven. Other signs include feeling a loved one in spirit’s presence, or smelling a scent that reminds you of them. There are many ways in which they will send signs, and they will utilize all of your senses to do so. This is because the method of communication across dimensions works in this way.

Access to the Past and the Future

As for seeing the events unfolding on Earth, loved ones not only have access to current events, but also past and future events. Loved ones in spirit visit us often because they love us and want to help us. They do give us privacy during those ultra-private moments in our lives; however, your loved ones in spirit are around you much more often than you think. As for events from the past, they are able to retrieve and view experiences from the past from our Akashic records, which are the records of all that was, is, and will be for each soul in existence. If loved ones are in need of perspectives to help us with our lives, whether it is to achieve understanding from events from the past or to look into potential future events with which they can assist, they will retrieve the records with the approval of the Archangels who oversee the Hall of Records.

Still the Same Soul, but with a Higher Perspective

It is important to note the perspectives about life on Earth change after arrival in Heaven. Once loved ones in spirit experience the review of their lives, they gain a higher understanding of why events occurred the way they did. The veil that obscured the knowledge of existence for them while in human form is removed, opening up comprehension of the vast inner-workings of our lives as human beings and our existence beyond life on Earth. Within, they are the same soul; however, they have a higher understanding and knowledge which helps them to view situations objectively, as well as grow as a soul through divine awareness. Which is why, when loved ones in spirit come through to communicate with those on this plane, they often indicate they are at peace. Because of the understanding they have attained, they no longer experience anger or upset. This is also true for the way people on Earth are handling situations since their passing. They may not like the way a loved one on Earth is behaving; however, due to their divine knowledge, they know why events are occurring in a certain way. It all has to do with lessons for our souls. They are not angry, but can be saddened when someone is behaving in a manner which hurts others. The situations, though, are out of their hands. They cannot control how people behave. They can only watch over situations and hope for the best. There are times when they can step in to help from the Other Side; however, more often than not, they are not allowed to interfere, especially if important lessons need to be learned.

What to Do with Belongings

As for the handling of their belongings, loved ones in spirit often convey that they would like items to be distributed in a fair way. It is unfortunate when people on Earth behave in a selfish or greedy way over the legacies left by loved ones who have crossed over. They do not like to see families torn apart by belongings or money. Even though they are aware of the lessons tied into these situations, they still hope loved ones remember it is more important to cultivate and nurture the relationships they have with one another through fair distribution, rather than hurtful actions driven by greed and selfish behaviors.

Loved ones in spirit also often state they do not want loved ones on Earth to feel compelled to keep every object they ever owned because the objects are not them, they are only things which loved ones in spirit no longer need. Keeping objects with historical importance or positive memories is good, as long as they do not overload your home. I have had loved ones in spirit ask their relatives on Earth to donate that which is no longer needed to charities because they prefer their belongings to go to someone who can use them.

Heavenly Communications

All in all, our loved ones in spirit remain an important part of our lives, even though they have crossed over into Heaven. They are aware of events on Earth and do what they can to help us on our journeys here. There are many ways in which you can remain open to the communications they send, including learning how spirit-to-spirit communication works. While it differs from the way we communicate with each other on Earth, it is a language built into our souls which can be reawakened with knowledge and an openness to the extraordinary within the seemingly ordinary.

Glimpses of Heaven

People often ask me, what is Heaven like and what are my loved ones doing up there? As a Spirit Medium, I have the unique ability to communicate with those on the Other Side, and in the process, they often show me glimpses of Heaven.

Our universe is much bigger and more diverse than most people on Earth can fathom. There are other worlds and dimensions which we travel to as souls for unique learning experiences. Our home base is Heaven, which is the starting point from which we are created and it is the place we return to after our many adventures to other worlds and dimensions. As souls depart for the Earth and other destinations, other souls return to be welcomed home.

Heaven is not only our home base, but it is also the place where we rest and recuperate after our adventures. It is a place of healing, love, knowledge, and learning. It is a hive of activity with beings coming and going, beings actively involved in the inner-workings of Heaven, magnificent reunions with gala parties for the recently returned, lifetime reviews, and much more.

Arrival in Heaven

Upon arrival in Heaven, we are greeted by a welcoming Angel or loved one in spirit who proceeds to help us become re-oriented to Heaven. Our guide helps us to navigate our way through Heaven and to visit loved ones on Earth to see the events occurring since our passing. Many in spirit are in attendance for our memorial services and life celebrations. Until we are ready to visit our loved ones on Earth on our own, our guides stay with us. Older souls are much faster at being able to communicate on their own across dimensions. Younger souls can take classes in Heaven to help them learn how to communicate via their spirits, send signs, appear in dreams, and manipulate energy on Earth to move objects, and more.

Creating Your World

Heaven truly is what we make of it. Resources are only limited by our minds and the levels we reached in our soul’s evolvement. We can create homes using thought and they can be whatever we want them to be. For instance, you can have a quaint cottage by a lakeshore or a majestic castle with many rooms. Whatever you would like your personal slice of Heaven to be is what it is. Beautiful imagery of homes and collective spaces, which are the collaborative efforts of many to create environments, have been shared with me, including 1940s nightclubs in Harlem, New York, Victorian-era towns and cities, stunningly beautiful parks with elegant flowers and trees, ancient temples from Atlantis and Lemuria, and much, much more. Often, loved ones in spirit show me the homes they grew up in recreated in Heaven, as well as dream homes with glorious views of mountains, gleaming bodies of water, and rolling hills with amazingly green grass. The colors up there are gorgeous and much more intense than they are on Earth.

We also have the power to control our personal appearance in Heaven. I have frequently seen loved ones in spirit, including pets, as the younger versions of themselves enjoying their time in Heaven. We usually opt to look like we did on Earth because that is what we are used to; however, it is usually the younger versions of ourselves in our prime.

It is my impression that the level of what you can do in Heaven and where you reside correlates with the level your soul has reached with its evolution. For example, a younger soul who committed crimes on Earth because they have not yet learned the way of love, do not have the same abilities and access to certain areas of Heaven. In addition, there are many spiritual hospitals for these souls, as well as institutions of learning to help them to better comprehend the true purpose of their existence. Older souls not only have greater expertise, but also greater access. They are free to create what they wish and can travel to more locations in Heaven and beyond.

Activities in Heaven

In Heaven, time does not run on the same cycles as it does on Earth. I have not yet been provided with an equivalent measure, and this may be because one does not exist or that it is to remain a mystery from humankind for now. However, I do know we have plenty of time up there to explore a whole host of activities.

After a lifetime on Earth, we often need time to recover from the rough and tumble ride we encountered. All of our physical ailments automatically disappear because our souls are no longer housed in a physical body. Our minds and souls also receive healing. Those in need of deep healing have shown me themselves in the Spiritual Hospital, which is much like a mental health hospital on Earth with angels in attendance to facilitate the healing process. As on Earth, there are inpatient programs and outpatient programs depending on the needs of the soul. As healing occurs, these souls are gradually integrated into existence in Heaven in order to fully enjoy the paradise of Heaven’s offerings. Those who have healed or are ready to fully enjoy their time in Heaven, often send me images of themselves relaxing and participating in their favorite pastimes, such as fishing, creating art, and spending time with people and pets who have crossed over before them. Because of the love shared between souls, loved ones in spirit often visit their friends and family here on Earth to see how they are doing. They are allowed to help in certain ways with our lives through the sending of signs and messages, as well as taking part in events with the approval of the Archangels. They cannot, however, alter the soul contracts we agreed to prior to birth. Because of this, it may sometimes seem as if God, the Archangels, and loved ones in spirit are not helping you. In actuality they are because they are helping you to fulfill the lessons you agreed to learn.

Because our souls continue to exist and grow, Heaven offers opportunities to learn new skills and meet other souls, similar to the way we can on Earth. Images and information has been sent to me during readings of loved ones in spirit taking classes in music and art, as well as spirit-to-spirit communication and how to work with the energies on Earth and in Heaven. Many times, I have seen younger souls who have passed meeting new souls and forming relationships with them.

In Heaven, we can also volunteer for jobs. They are not like jobs on Earth. You choose what you would like to do, such as becoming a guardian angel, a muse, or greeter at Heaven’s gates. Many souls enjoy being of service and Heaven offers many opportunities to bring to your spirit what you need most.

The Hall of Records

Within our magnificent home base of Heaven, there is a Hall of Records which contains information about everything that was, is, and will be for each of our souls. The files, which are referred to as the Akashic Records, contain our soul contracts for each past and present lifetime, as well as every detail of the lifetimes we have lived and are living, as well as information about future events for our souls. The future events are written in outline form and can be updated depending upon the actions we take in our current lifetimes. This is because of free will. There are events which are scheduled to occur in alignment with agreed-to soul contracts; however, the minute details may not be written yet due to constantly changing conditions here on Earth based on the decisions we make.

When I am shown the Hall of Records, I see a large, white Parthenon-style building with a wide set of stairs leading up to a landing with six regal columns. Scattered throughout the image are people dressed in many different styles of clothing, as well as scholars and attendants in comfortable white or cream colored tunics and gowns. Past life information can be accessed within the Hall of Records in an interactive manner, which allows visitors to delve into the past to retrieve information in a way that immerses them in the experiences.

The Archangels, who are tasked with overseeing everything having to do with mankind and Earth, retain control of the Hall of Records and work with many orders of Angels to help facilitate events on Earth which coincide with soul plans and lessons for all on Earth. Guardian angels, some of whom are people who lived on Earth who volunteer to help their loved ones, are also given tasks and permission to send communications by the Archangels. For those who volunteer to be guardian angels to loved ones on Earth, they are given specific access to the Akashic Records for those they are watching over. They are allowed to communicate approved information through dreams, signs, and spirit to spirit communication – either directly or through a Spirit Medium.

Epiphanies from Heaven and the Universal Mind

Heaven is an imagination works, or conglomeration, where all ideas are hatched and sent through epiphanies to souls meant to bring them to fruition based on their soul contracts. The idea hatchery is often referred to as the Universal Mind. The ideas, which come from the Creator, are disseminated at the appropriate time and place by God and the Archangels. It is then the job of the Archangels to assign a muse to share the ideas with the beings destined to bring the ideas to fruition on Earth or in another world or dimension.  Specific orders of angels, as well as loved ones in spirit who have volunteered to serve as muses, are responsible for the actual transmission of the ideas to the matching soul. There is a significant amount of real-time organization which takes place in order to facilitate this process. Many events and circumstances need to be devised at the proper times in order to bring ideas to light with the proper resources for the recipient.  It is an incredible process which is also employed for the events and circumstances in our daily lives, in which we are placed in situations which encourage optimum opportunities for working through the lessons we agreed to in our soul contracts.

Why Do We Leave Heaven?

People ask why do we leave Heaven if it is so wonderful? We leave to accelerate the growth of our souls. The lack of negativity in Heaven provides a certain kind of learning that is missing the great challenges life on Earth or what other worlds may offer. We come down here for strong and fast lessons, but then return to Heaven when our lessons have been completed. There are very important reasons why we need to be here and why we have the experiences we do. One of the most important is to find our way back to the love within from which we were created. Once we do return to Heaven, we have time to rest and enjoy activities we love while waiting for our loved ones on Earth to join us at their designated time. The love we share with one another keeps us connected across all dimensions because love is at the heart of our very existence. Once we are reunited with our closest soul groups, we decide where and when we would like our next adventure to begin.
