Recognizing Signs from Heaven Is Important to Your Life Path

Life on Earth is an accelerated course for soul evolution. We have voluntarily opted to live a lifetime on Earth to learn lessons for the development of our souls, and the negativity we encounter speeds up the process. In Heaven, negativity does not exist. Soul development does occur there; however, the lessons are based more on the giving of service, learning about the many levels of existence, and exploring the multi-faceted methods for communicating across planes.

In our journey through life, we are not left to our own devices. Each of us is given extra assistance from our Heavenly Support Team, which includes God, the angels, loved ones in spirit, and spirit guides. They send us signs and messages on a daily basis that can help guide us on our life paths. The key to unlocking the knowledge that is at our disposal is to learn how to recognize and decipher the communications that are being sent from your support team in Heaven. The benefits to receiving this insider advice is almost immeasurable, as it can have far-reaching effects on the positive development of your soul.

Ascension Removes the Veil

When our loved ones ascend to Heaven, knowledge that was obscured from them while on Earth is revealed, giving them a better understanding of the reasons behind their experiences on Earth. They do not become all-knowing, but they do attain greater insight that enables them to see the events on Earth from a more informed perspective. This insight can be utilized to help you navigate your life path if you open yourself to the guidance that is shared by your Heavenly Support Team.

In addition to your loved ones in Heaven, you have seasoned spirit guides and angels that have specific knowledge about your chosen life path. They have access to your Akashic Records, which contain information about your past incarnations, as well as the plans for your current incarnation on Earth. The plans contain the life lessons you have chosen to learn, as well as an outline of certain events that could potentially occur in your lifetime. These events could be major turning points in your soul’s evolution that come as a result of the choices you make about you, your relationships, your thought processes, and your purpose. In essence, you are never alone. There is always a kind and loving spirit nearby who is willing to assist you with your life path. Having an open mind, and a heightened level of awareness about the existence and presence of these spiritual beings, are the first steps you can take toward recognizing and receiving messages from your Heavenly Support Team.

Your Personal Tour Guides of Life

Every day, you can receive messages from spirit that are like sign posts directing you toward the best path in your daily life, which also impacts your overall life plan. It is similar to having extremely knowledgeable tour guides to help you navigate the vast experiences of life on Earth. Because these tour guides are in an energetic form of spirit and have advanced communication abilities, they utilize all our senses to get their messages across to us. The greatest challenge they have in communicating with human beings is the built-in system that purposefully creates obstacles through the illusion of fear. This system is referred to as the human ego. It is the seat of negative thoughts that tell you this cannot be possible, that you will not succeed, or that signs and messages from spirit are just a coincidence. You can teach yourself to break past the negative illusions and thoughts to experience the extraordinary connections with your Heavenly Support Team.

Breaking through the Wall

The mental block that is put in place when we are born, otherwise known as the human ego, is a wall that can be breeched through conscious awareness of the existence of life beyond the human experience. The first step to managing the negativity created by the human ego is to recognize when thoughts of failure, dismissal, and self-depreciation enter our minds. Halt those thoughts in their tracks by acknowledging their presence and thinking “STOP” in your mind. Then, replace those thoughts with positive affirmations or beliefs about the topic. For example, if you catch yourself thinking the repeated references you keep seeing about your loved one in Heaven are just a coincidence, say “STOP” in your mind, and replace it with “There are no coincidences. These are signs from my loved one in Heaven.”

By opening your mind to the extraordinary possibilities of the universe and trusting that loving spirits do exist on other planes, you can consciously open the communication channel that moves past the ego and delivers specific and helpful guidance for your life path.

Everyone Is Born with the Gift of Mediumship

Everyone is born with the ability to communicate via spirit. It is the way we communicate with God, the angels, our loved ones in spirit, spirit guides, and each other. Our prayers, thoughts, and requests for assistance are sent to God, the angels, and our loved ones using telepathic transmissions from one spirit to another, similar to the way in which wireless signals are sent from one computer to another.

When we communicate with each other on Earth, these signals are being sent back and forth via our spirits; however, it is something that occurs in the background of conscious awareness. When you are speaking with someone, you know in your heart when a person’s words do not sound or feel right. There may be a nagging thought in the back of your mind or a slight clenching of your stomach muscles that may be indicating to you that this person is not speaking his or her truth. This intuitive information is coming from your spirit which houses a higher consciousness and understanding of spirit-to-spirit communication.

Even though everyone is born with the gift of mediumship, it does not mean that everyone on Earth is destined to be a spirit medium who shares his or her gifts on a professional level. Just as certain people are born with the ability to excel in sports, others are born with the ability to excel in spirit communication. Your path is unique to you, and if mediumship is your calling, you will know it. If it is not, you can still learn how to use the gifts you have in order to communicate with your Heavenly Support Team in a way that will benefit you and your loved ones.

A Map to Lead the Way

The benefits of tuning in to the positive messages which come from enlightened beings in Heaven can be equated to being given a map to help you find the most beneficial path to get to your destination, which is the evolvement of your soul through life lessons. Please know that spiritual beings will not give you all the answers or solve all your problems for you. They will sometimes only provide sign posts or messages to guide you along the way. It is your job as a soul seeking knowledge and learning lessons to make decisions through free will. If you were given all the answers, lessons would not be learned and there would be no point in taking the journey.

Examples of Heavenly Signs

There are many ways that our Heavenly Support Team sends us messages. It is an abstract form of communication that uses all our senses and goes beyond straightforward verbal and non-verbal cues. Your mind must be open to experiencing and recognizing the extraordinary in the ordinary that surrounds you each day.

Here are a few of the more common methods used to transmit messages:

Music and Sounds

Songs you hear in your head or that play on the radio at seemingly coincidental times, are often messages from spirit. Pay attention to the lyrics that you are hearing. If you do not know all the words to the song or the title, look it up. There is a message in it for you about a current event in your life. You could also be hearing music that reminds you of a loved one who has passed away. For instance, my dad loved the band, I often hear “Don’t Stop Believing” in my head or on the radio at times when I need a positive boost. As a note, negative songs and lyrics telling you to hurt others or yourself are not sent from your Heavenly Support Team. They only send positive or helpful messages to help you navigate your life.

You may also receive direct guidance through words or phrases you hear within your mind or outside of yourself, whether in a vision or while fully-awake. This may come through in their voice or in your own. When it is coming through in your own voice, it will feel like a thought that is not your own and you will wonder where it came from. The messages are always helpful in big and small ways. Some may even be life-changing.

Visual Clues

When you see an object or image that reminds you of a loved one, it is them letting you know that they are around and that they are sending their love. For instance, one morning I turned on my television and there was a show on about model trains that popped up on the screen. I have no idea what channel I had left the television on the night before, but this was odd because it appeared to be a very old show from the 1960s. I immediately knew this was my dad letting me know that he was around and that he was sending me his love. His major hobby was collecting model trains. There are no coincidences in this world, and many people may have written that off as strange, but if you open your mind, you can learn how to recognize these subtle, and not-so-subtle, messages from spirit.

When sending guidance, pay attention to repeated messages that you see or read. Your Heavenly Support Team will place visual items in your path to help provide answers or guidance. Again, there are no coincidences. Pay attention to repetitious messages and signs as they are trying to help you.

Feeling a Presence or Receiving a Physical Indicator

Some people on Earth have a very strong sense of extrasensory feeling, or clairsentience. They can physically feel the presence of a loved one in spirit. I often feel the presence of my cats who are in Heaven when I lay down to go to sleep. I feel the warmth of their love in the shape of their bodies that they had on Earth. It feels like a living cat has curled up next to me, and it may be accompanied by the feeling of a slight depression in the bed where they are laying. This may sound scary to some who have not experienced it; however, for those of us who have, it is comforting to feel the warmth and affection of loved ones in spirit.

When guidance is coming through the sense of feeling, you may experience a feeling that something is off with a situation, which may be accompanied by a clenching of your stomach. If it is an uplifting feeling of joy or great hope, you are being given approval to move forward.

Scent in the Air

Have you ever picked up on a scent in the air that does not seem to fit in with your surroundings, such as cookies baking in your office or cigar smoke in a non-smoking hotel? Loved ones in spirit alter the molecules in the air to pipe in certain scents that remind you of them. It could be the smell of their perfume or a mechanic’s garage. When you pick up these unusual scents in the air that seem to have no logical source, who is it that you think of? Is it your grandmother who baked great cookies for family gatherings? Is it your father who used to love working on cars and often came home smelling of grease and oil from his mechanic’s garage? The scents are usually strong and distinct, and they may be picked up on by others in your vicinity. That is because the scent is piped into the air when they send this type of message to you.

Guidance through the sense of smell can sometimes have unusual connotations. For example, my Heavenly Support Team uses the scent of a skunk to indicate someone is on the defensive. When this occurs, I know to handle the situation with great care as the person I am talking to may not be able to hear what needs to be said because they are too busy feeling as though they need to defend themselves or that they do not want to be negatively perceived for their decisions.

Cravings Out of the Blue

Have you ever had a sudden craving for your deceased mother’s apple pie, a craving so strong that you can taste it in your mouth? This is yet another way that spirit sends messages to us. The way they send this message is similar to the way they send messages that utilize our sense of smell. They alter the molecules in the air to send energy associated with certain tastes to the sensors in our mouths. This type of message is usually confused with physical cravings for certain foods. It is important when you experience a very strong craving to take a moment to think about whether this is a message being sent from spirit. Do you associate what you are craving with a particular loved one in Heaven? If so, acknowledge the loved one in spirit for their presence and the sign they sent. Know that they are there to support you in your endeavors and want you to know they are there for you.

Share Your Gratitude

When you recognize the signs sent by your Heavenly Support Team, be sure to thank them for their efforts. They are always pleased when their transmissions are successful because it means that you are open and paying attention to their loving messages and guidance. You can also ask them for clarity and for more signs to reinforce the direction they would like you to go.

What It Really Means to Be Open for a Spirit Medium Reading

A spirit medium reading is a deep spiritual connection with Heaven in which communications from loved ones in spirit come through to bring healing of the soul, love, closure, reassurance, insights into current and future events, life guidance, glimpses of what they are doing in Heaven and who they are with, how and when they visit loved ones on Earth, signs they send, and much more. It is a sacred exchange in which they bring insight from a higher perspective to help you and those you love on a soul level. It should be approached with respect for the complex spiritual process, as well as for the divine insights which go well beyond our limited view of the world and our existence.

Knowing More About You Than You Realize

Loved ones in spirit know more about your life path than you do. This is because they literally see events and situations from a higher perspective. They work closely with the Archangels and God and are fully aware of past and current events. In addition, they have access to your akashic records which contain the soul lessons and plans for your life, as well as all that was, is, and will be for you and those you love on Earth. These are some of the many reasons that when sitting for a reading to receive divine communications from them, it is important to remain open to how they come through, as well as the messages they would like to convey.

Reasons for Why They are Coming Through a Certain Way and the Messages They are Bringing

When loved ones in spirit are coming through to communicate, they know their time is limited to deliver what needs to be shared. Because of this, they bring through specific information from their life or yours which can be packed with multiple meanings and messages within the messages. This information may be surprising at first because it may not match your preconceived notions of what they would bring. For instance, there can be a seemingly mundane reference to an event which recently occurred. When they are bringing that through, they are indicating not only their awareness of the event, but also that they were there with you as a witness in spirit. As to why it is a certain loved one coming through, there are always reasons for that. Often, the loved one in spirit experienced events or situations similar to ones you are going through at the time of your reading and they want to help you with their expertise. They know who you want to hear from, and that loved one often comes through; however, there may be others who can provide insights to your life or to the lives of those you love which must come from them.

Misconceptions of What It Means to be Open to a Reading

There are times when recipients of a reading think they are open to communications and even state that; however, they are truly not when they put stipulations on who they want to come through, what they think loved ones in spirit are going to share as identifying information, and what messages they will bring. By injecting expectations and preconceived notions upon a reading, the recipient is closing themselves off to what could be amazing experiences in which loved ones in spirit will bring soul level insights from Heaven to help you or others. Here are some examples of closed behaviors or mindsets and why they place blocks to communications from the Other Side:

Only Wanting to Hear from One Specific Loved One in Spirit

We have all been in a place in which we would like to hear from a specific loved one in spirit. This could be due to the closeness of your relationship, that they recently passed, or that they passed in a way that left questions as to whether they are in Heaven or are doing well in Heaven. Who comes through during a reading is as important as the messages they bring, and the messages they bring can only be brought by them. For instance, if you focus solely on hearing from your mother in spirit, you may miss out on recognizing and claiming your grandmother who also lost her mother at a young age and is coming through to help you with the healing process through her own experiences in life. Does this mean your mother will not come through? No, it does not mean that. It means that your grandmother needed to come through first to help bring healing to your life. When recipients resist or push back on this, it wastes precious time that could be used to allow your mother to come through. Another reason why your grandmother may come through first is because your mother was someone who would put others before herself. It is your mother’s subtle way of showing her personality traits. There are countless reasons why certain loved ones come through and in what order. By remaining open to whomever and whatever they bring, you give the loved ones in spirit the space they need to bring through the divine communications from a higher perspective.

Demanding to Hear from Only One Specific Loved One in Spirit

Demanding anything from anyone, alive or deceased, rarely brings the results you are looking for in any situation. Spirit mediums do not control or command loved ones in spirit. They are free souls with free will who decide when and how they want to come through. By demanding a specific loved one to come through, without exception, you are definitively blocking the divine communications and taking the spirit medium out of the open mindset they need to allow the communications to flow. It also puts the spirit medium in a position in which they must continually ask loved ones in spirit who are stepping up to step aside because the recipient does not want to hear from them. This wastes time and can be very frustrating for the spirit medium, the loved ones in spirit, and the recipient. This scenario grinds the entire communication process to a halt, creating a situation in which the reading cannot proceed. Great sadness, grief, and anger, as well as a misunderstanding of how spirit medium readings work, are often the underlying reasons for someone to demand specific loved ones in spirit to come through. If you are in a place in which your grief is overwhelming you, it is better to wait until you are in a more peaceful or accepting mindset before sitting for a reading.

Making a Pact with a Loved One in Spirit Prior to the Reading to Bring through a Certain Piece of Information

Right before a reading there are times when recipients plead with or make pacts with loved ones in spirit to bring through certain information to prove it is them, such as a code word, a song, or a reference to an event. For instance, the day or night before the reading the recipient may say in their mind to their best friend in spirit that they need to mention “black coffee” or “Grand Canyon” in the reading just so they really know it is them coming through. This kind of thinking displays a lack of faith and is a demand to the loved one in spirit. When doing this, the recipient is closing themselves off from the free flow of divine information to waste time demanding to hear what they want to hear. They may also completely dismiss the loved one in spirit coming through, even though they brought many specific pieces of information which clearly defined they are the one they wanted to hear from. On an important note, loved ones in spirit may or may not give the code word or information demanded by the recipient because they have a higher purpose to bring through other information. Remember, there are reasons why they bring through information the way they do and it often contains messages within the messages. Asking why this and not that dismisses their messages they work hard to convey to help you with your life from a soul perspective.

Thinking a Loved One in Spirit Will Come Through the Same Way Every Time

Depending upon the spirit medium or the information the loved one in spirit would like to bring through, loved ones in spirit may or may not come through in the same way as they did in a previous reading. The description they provide of themselves may change slightly, including but not limited to clothing, hair styles, personality traits, scenes from their life, and more. In this complex form of communication across dimensions, loved ones in spirit often use symbols with spirit mediums to share information. They use experiences and information familiar to the spirit medium to get their information across. Each spirit medium is different, which is why the information may come through in a slightly different way with different mediums. In addition, the loved one in spirit may need to highlight certain times in their lives to bring through a message within the message. For example, my father has come through joking and showing a photograph of himself wearing a navy blue t-shirt during a time in which he was happy. He has also come through with a feeling of sadness wearing a long sleeve red and black flannel shirt. In both instances it was him; however, he was communicating about different times in his life because the messages he shared in each reading were meant to help me with experiences in my life that he worked through on his own. There are many subtle intricacies in how loved ones in spirit communicate. There is always a meaningful reason why they are coming through in a certain way. You will be able to recognize them if you keep an open mind about how they come through and what they want to share to help you and those you love with your lives.

Having Preconceived Ideas about Messages Including Expecting or Demanding Them to Tell You About Events You Already Know About

Your loved ones in spirit are fully aware of the events taking place in your life and in the lives of those you love. When you ask them to tell you something you already know the answer to, you are demanding that they prove they know of the events you want them to acknowledge or you are demanding they only bring through what you want in order to know it is them. As an example, I had a young man coming through in spirit who was showing a memory of himself as a child in a photograph. The reading was taking place over video chat and the recipient recognized the photograph as one that was sitting on a shelf a few feet from her beyond the view of the camera. The young man in spirit did this to prove he was right there in the room with the recipient as there was no way I would have known that photograph existed or that it was in the room with the recipient at that moment in time. Instead of recognizing that the young man was right there in spirit with her, the recipient kept asking if he was with her and whether he was aware of events that had taken place in her life. By showing me the photograph, he was trying to tell her that he is with her, even when she is not aware of his presence. Her demands and expectations of only wanting to hear what she wanted to hear instead of being open and accepting of what he wanted to share ate up precious time, which possibly prevented him from sharing more meaningful communications that would have brought healing to her life. As a spirit medium, I can only ask the loved one in spirit to bring through the information someone is asking about. If they decide they do not want to bring it, there is nothing I can do as I do not control them. It does not mean it is not really them or that they do not visit you in spirit. It means what you are asking for or demanding is not what they wanted to share or communicate about. Remember, they have higher purposes for information they share.

Thinking Communications from the Other Side are as Easy as Talking to Living Beings and Expecting Spirit Mediums to Know Everything

Spirit-to-spirit communication is very complex. It is not as simple as a conversation with a person on Earth. Loved ones in spirit are communicating in a telepathic way which uses all the senses of the spirit medium to transmit information in an incredibly immersive way that goes well beyond simple verbal communication. They provide images, sounds, feelings, tastes, and smells from their viewpoint as a way of providing not only identifying information for you to claim them, but also to share their messages. It can sometimes be like a cryptic shorthand in which symbols are used and messages are hidden within messages for the recipient to figure out. There are times when I need to talk through the symbols and impressions I am receiving because the loved one in spirit is sharing pieces of information that have no meaning for me but should for the recipient. By talking through it, it gives the recipient the opportunity to recognize the meaning from their loved one in spirit. Everything loved ones in spirit share has meaning. They work hard to bring through the information and messages across dimensions in this amazing way. As a spirit medium, it is my job to share every impression and piece of information, whether it has meaning to me or not. It does not have to make sense to me because I am not their loved one on Earth, nor have I lived the lives they have or been privy to their experiences on Earth or in Heaven. When loved ones in spirit share information it is on a need-to-know basis. Spirit mediums are not all-knowing or all-seeing. We are receivers of information coming from beings in spirit. We facilitate the process of spirit-to-spirit communication and share what we receive with recipients of a reading. We can and do ask questions of loved ones in spirit to keep the processing moving along and to attempt to get answers to inquiries by recipients of a reading; however, if the loved ones in spirit are not providing an answer to a question, a spirit medium cannot force them to answer it. When this occurs, I let the recipient know the loved one in spirit is not providing an answer to their specific question.

Being Physically Exhausted or Distracted

To get the most out of your spirit medium reading, remove distractions so that you can give your full concentration to the spiritual exchange and honor your loved ones in spirit. Turn off your phone and other electronics. Sit in a quiet space without pets, kids, or other people if possible. Do not operate machinery, such as a car. Being physically exhausted or under the influence of alcohol or drugs can also be a significant block to communications from the Other Side. This is because the ability to think clearly is impaired. A spirit medium reading is a three-way communication which requires the loved ones in spirit, the spirit medium, and the recipient to be open and receptive to the information coming through. As the recipient, being able to think and recall information is very important as you need to claim your loved ones as they come through. They may also be bringing up significant memories they want you to remember. Getting a good night’s sleep and staying sober will help keep the lines of communication clear.

How to Remain Truly Open to a Reading

To remain truly open to a reading and get the most out of the spiritual communications from beyond our world, clear your mind and heart, sit in a location without distractions, be alert and sober, and remove all expectations about who will come through, how they will come through, and the information or messages they will share. By doing so, you allow your loved ones in spirit to share the most meaningful information to help you and those you love on Earth on a soul level, which can be positively life changing on many levels.

The Journey of the Soul through Death and Beyond: What Happens to Souls Who Harmed Themselves or Others in Life

Have you ever wondered what happens to souls who take their own lives or do grievous harm to others? When it comes to crossing over into Heaven, there are different scenarios for souls depending on their actions on Earth. Most souls cross over right away and enjoy a grand and immediate reunion with loved ones already in Heaven, including beloved pets. The souls who have harmed themselves or others do ascend to Heaven; however, when they cross and what happens once there differs from most souls.

Not Crossing Immediately

When someone has ended their life before their natural time or have been responsible for causing great harm to others, they may not cross over immediately. This is because the soul may not believe they belong in Heaven due to what they were taught on Earth and how they perceive themselves. When this occurs, the soul, no longer housed in the physical body, temporarily remains on the Earth plane instead of transitioning to Heaven right away. This state of not being on Earth and not being in Heaven is sometimes referred to as purgatory, which means “temporary,” not hell as some people believe. Souls who do not immediately cross over into Heaven need assistance in doing so because they need to believe they belong there. A delegation of loved ones in spirit, spirit guides, and Angels from Heaven try to help them, as do spirit mediums on Earth when we encounter souls in this state of being. All souls do cross over into Heaven in time and receive the knowledge and healing they need.

A Different Path for Those Who Ended Their Lives Early

For those who purposefully ended their lives, there is a different process which occurs when the soul’s life on Earth ends. Once the soul crosses over into Heaven, there is no celebration or large happy reunion with all the loved ones who have crossed over before them. Instead, there is a more subdued reunion with select loved ones in spirit before being transported to the Spiritual Hospital for much needed healing. The Spiritual Hospital is similar to a mental hospital here on Earth; however, it is attended to by specific orders of Angels who guide the healing process for souls who experienced great emotional and spiritual pain in life. They also bring healing for the soul-wrenching experience of the ending of life early, which halted the life lessons and plans that were determined before the soul was born on Earth. The best estimate I have received for the time a loved one in spirit is in the Spiritual Hospital ranges from two weeks to six months Earth time. There is no time equivalent in Heaven, which is why this is estimated. It also depends on the soul and the level of healing they need. Visitors are welcome at the hospital and outpatient care is available when the soul is ready. Once healing has taken place, an intimate and loving reunion party with all loved ones in spirit is held to honor the soul. As a consequence of purposefully ending life on Earth prior to the agreed upon timeframe, the soul must return for another lifetime to redo and complete the lessons left unlearned. This does not usually happen immediately, but after healing has taken place, skills have been learned to better manage the lessons, and other loved ones have naturally completed their lifetimes and reunited with the soul in Heaven.

What Happens to Souls Who Grievously Harm Others on Earth

For those who committed grievous crimes against others while on Earth, instead of a delegation of loved ones in spirit, there is the presence of a spiritual being who does not step forward, but rather waits patiently, without judgment, to be noticed. Once acknowledged, the spiritual being seeks to educate the soul in the necessity of crossing over. Often, souls who caused great harm to others do not believe they belong in Heaven. The temporarily lost soul needs to believe they belong to transition there. The amount of time it takes for the soul to believe this varies. The impressions I received from souls who existed in this surreal state included images and experiences of their negative actions playing out repeatedly in their mind because of their lack of belief in their worthiness. When they are finally convinced of the need to cross over to receive healing and to learn from the mistakes they made while on Earth, they transition to a location within the Spiritual Hospital in which they immediately begin the review of their life. Once there, they learn about how and why events occurred and receive assistance to help their souls to accept accountability, including how to cope with the results of their actions. Through immersive learning situations, they experience the pain they gave to others to learn why the actions were detrimental to all souls involved, the consequences for them as souls, as well as how to better conduct themselves in the future.

Lower Levels of Heaven

Once the life review is over for the souls who brought great harm to others in life, there is no gala celebration or happy reunion with loved ones in spirit. These souls are in need of healing and knowledge to help them evolve. They are assigned to what I refer to as the lower levels of Heaven, in which they dedicate their time to learning how to be a better soul and to gain understanding about the love from which we were all created. The lower levels of Heaven are not the fiery pits of Hell, but rather a place of deep soul contemplation and learning for those who need to work on themselves. The concept of a place of retribution and punishment may have been created as a way of getting society to behave in a certain manner through fear tactics. It may also come from impressions by ancient seers and mediums about souls temporarily lost in purgatory who often feel tormented about their actions on Earth and their temporary status stuck in between worlds.

Soul Evolvement

The souls who commit grievous crimes are often young souls who have not experienced many lifetimes. They operate from a place of fear rather than love and need to reincarnate many times to help their souls evolve to a higher place. In contrast, older souls understand the need for compassion, empathy, and love, as well as the concept that we are here to help one another on our journeys. All of us were younger souls at some point, and when we experience life on Earth, our Creator uses this great mixture of soul evolvement to help us help each other with the lessons destined for this lifetime. Each of us was created with loving care and are provided with opportunities to better ourselves and evolve as souls. Just as children on Earth grow and learn, our souls do so on a much grander scale. If a child makes a mistake, even a big one, there are consequences which are dealt with, but also the opportunity to learn from that mistake. It is the same with our souls. Instead of being sent to the fiery pits of Hell, souls are sent instead to the appropriate level of Heaven to learn from those mistakes to become a better soul. For those who caused grievous harm on Earth, if the lessons are not learned or cannot be completed during their stay in the lower levels of Heaven, the lessons are incorporated into their soul contracts for their next lifetimes.

Reaching the Higher Levels of Heaven

As souls master the lessons, they progress through the spiritual evolution which enables them to graduate to the next levels of Heaven. Souls on the higher levels of Heaven can visit those on the lower levels; however, those on the lower levels do not have permission to visit the higher levels until they have reached the stages of their evolution which permits them to move about Heaven with more freedom. When we achieve the highest level, we can remain in existence as an Angel helping other souls or we can choose to be fully reintegrated into the highest energy form, which I refer to as God or the God Force. From there, new souls are created, and the process begins anew. This is not to be mistaken for reincarnation. Reincarnation is the same soul living many lifetimes. The reintegration into the God Force is the completion of the soul’s existence after it has reached the highest pinnacle of soul growth. As a note, there is no set timeframe for the evolution of a soul. Whether young, old, or somewhere in between, each soul progresses at its own pace with its own lessons and purposes for each lifetime.

Everyone and Every Experience Serves a Purpose

Every soul has a purpose on this Earth, whether they are younger souls learning through trial and error how love is our reason for being or older souls who already know love is the primary reason for our existence. Ultimately, we are all here to assist and learn from one another on our spiritual journeys as souls in human form.

The Journey of the Soul through Death and Beyond: What Happens When We Ascend to Heaven

Spirit Medium Readings

Do you have a fear of death? Many people do. For some, it is the prospect of pain they fear. For others, it is not knowing what, if anything, happens to us when our physical body dies. They wonder if there really is another destination for the soul, such as Heaven or Hell, or if it is a nothingness, as if we cease to exist in any form after passing.

Death is a Transition

Death, which can be one of the most feared aspects of our lives, is a transition into another form of existence in which our soul moves forth to another dimension. Everything around us and within us is comprised of energy, including our physical bodies and our souls. When we are no longer in need of our physical bodies here on Earth, the lighter energetic forms of our souls are released from our earthly housings. Because we are no longer limited or hampered by the dense energy of the physical form, we are free to travel to the next destination for our souls.

Evidence Through Direct Communications

As a Spirit Medium with the ability to communicate with beings on the Other Side, I often use my gifts of mediumship to ask souls in spirit about the mysteries of our existence. Through hundreds of thousands of communications during readings with people all over the world, meditations, and more, I have been shown scenes and given information about events which occur around, during, and after death, including what happens to our souls and what our existence is like on the Other Side. This is what they revealed about the process of passing for the majority of souls.

The Transition Begins with a Spiritual Delegation

When life on Earth ends, there are many events which take place to help us with the transition from having a physical existence on Earth to an existence in spirit in Heaven. Regardless of whether someone passes suddenly, such as from an accident or massive heart attack, or over a long period of time, such as from an illness, there is a delegation of one to three beings from the Other Side that act as guides to the transition process. The delegation is comprised of loved ones in spirit who have already crossed over, including pets, or it can be Angels and past spiritual masters, who are highly spiritual beings who lived an impactful lifetime on Earth sharing divinity and bringing spiritual enlightenment to the world through love.

Events in the Moment

With a passing due to a long-term condition, the soul is usually aware that their time on Earth has come to an end. In the days and weeks leading up to his or her passing, loved ones in spirit often make their presence known through dreams or visions while awake. Those in the process of dying often hold conversations with their delegation guides who often share insights into Heaven, as well as the process of transitioning, to bring peace and understanding to the soul. There are numerous reports of this occurring from family members and friends who witnessed a loved one’s passing. Unfortunately, fear of death and misunderstanding can block these communications or cause the person to doubt the reality of their existence. In the case of a sudden passing, there can be a wide range of emotions experienced by the recently deceased including shock, upset, anger, and confusion. Delegation guides are there to help the person understand their time on Earth has come to an end and to let them know their time to transition to Heaven has arrived. Initially, the soul may resist leaving, as they may be in denial about their passing, are concerned about loved ones left behind, or feel they are not done with their time on Earth. The delegation guides do their best to provide comfort, understanding, and information to help the soul to accept the ending of their time on Earth and the beginning of their transition to the next dimension. With regard to those who purposefully ended their lives, the delegation is there for them, too. All souls go to Heaven; however, there can be a delay caused by the soul who believes they do not belong in Heaven because of their actions and what they have been taught on Earth through various religious teachings. The soul needs to know it is worthy of transitioning to Heaven before it crosses over. They do receive help from the delegation guides which, in this case, are usually higher spiritual beings, also referred to as Angels.

What Happens When We Die

In my curiosity about the process of death, I asked if I could be given the experience of what it was like to die, without actually dying, in order to provide knowledge and understanding to people on Earth about the process. To receive the answers, I sat in quiet meditation to experience what would be revealed. My best friend, Al, who is in Heaven, came to me in spirit and began showing me, through an immersive experience, what happens when we ascend to Heaven. The process began with my soul lifting upward from my body. I immediately tuned in to a freeing feeling of complete weightlessness, as well as a cleansing, as though my soul was releasing all concerns and worries of the world I was leaving behind. As my soul rose toward the sky, there was a bright white light speckled with sparkling energy above me that filtered down to surround me in a soft haze. The density of the light gradually increased the higher I rose. As my soul floated closer to the source of light, an intense feeling of unconditional love and euphoria encompassed my being. It was greater than any feeling we experience here on earth. Even at the intensity level being shared with me, I had the distinct awareness that I was only being provided a fraction of the feelings which accompany an ascension to Heaven, not only because it was not my time to cross over, but also because my guides in Heaven do not want me longing too much for the Other Side when I have things to accomplish here on Earth.

As I reached the pinnacle of light, I knew I was reaching the stage at which people enter “the tunnel.” The journey through the tunnel is a time of positive reflection of our souls with God and the Angels, as well as a welcoming to Heaven. The amount of time we spend in the tunnel is unique to each soul; however, the impressions I have been provided through separate meditations and visions is that this is a comforting experience designed to help us transition to Heaven after life on Earth. It includes a montage of happy memories from our time on Earth, unique personal experiences with God and the Angels, and preparatory information about what to expect upon our arrival in Heaven. In this vision, I did not go through the tunnel nor was I provided additional information about the experience. Instead, this journey seemed to fast-forward to my arrival in Heaven after the tunnel. With the white light still surrounding me, I saw a circular opening ahead which widened as I approached. It was filled with brilliant colors. As I got closer, I could see many of my loved ones in spirit on the other side of the opening. They were there to greet me upon my arrival to Heaven. Everyone in attendance was smiling and expressing joy and happiness at my homecoming.

The Gala Celebration

The imagery and impressions morphed into the celebratory gala held in our honor after we cross over into Heaven. The gala is a magnificent reunion with all the people and animals whose lives we touched, as well as those who had a positive influence on our lives. Everyone was dressed in amazing outfits, much of it in white, in styles that reflected the preferences of the person or being. Most of the people and animals appeared to me as a younger version of themselves, such as when they were in their prime on Earth. Even though they were younger, I recognized them for who they were. As I sat in the chair of honor on a raised platform, each being approached me one at a time to express their personal messages of how I affected their lives or how they affected mine. Love, understanding, and appreciation flowed with each heartfelt communication. There was music and a very joyful atmosphere at the gathering.

Visiting with Family and Friends on Earth

Our recently departed loved ones visit us soon after their transition. They can send us signs letting us know they are doing well and have made it to Heaven. They are often accompanied by other loved ones in spirit who have crossed over before them. Those loved ones in spirit help with the process of sending signs and giving comfort to those of us still on Earth, while also supporting the newly arrived soul. In addition, the newly arrived souls are often in attendance in spirit for their own memorial services, including those who have purposefully taken their lives. Once the services have concluded, the souls then move forward to the next phase of their transition, which is the objective review of their lives, also referred to as “Judgment Day.”

Judgment Day is an Objective Review

“Judgment Day” is not a terrifying experience in which you are made to account for all the wrongs you committed on Earth, but rather an objective review of your soul contracts and whether you learned the lessons you agreed to prior to your birth. One of the most important questions we are asked is, “How have you loved?” It is asked in the context of not only how you have loved others, but also yourself. The significance of this question, as well as the way it was revealed to me through a powerful visionary experience, prompted me to immediately decide it would be the title of my first book. Love, and learning how to love, is one of our main reasons for being. Those who have caused pain to themselves and others during their lifetimes, often go to the Spiritual Hospital for healing. Once there, they learn about how and why events occurred and receive assistance to help their souls to accept accountability, including how to cope with the results of their actions. Every soul has a purpose on this Earth, whether they are younger souls learning through trial and error how love is our reason for being or older souls who already know love is the primary reason for our existence. We are all here to assist one another on the spiritual journey our souls take as human beings.

Enjoying the Heavenly Surroundings

Throughout the review process and beyond, we are free to enjoy Heaven by creating beautiful spaces for ourselves and learning new skills, including how to watch over and communicate with loved ones on Earth, and much more. As we do on Earth, we spend time with those we love in Heaven. Additionally, we meet new souls, form relationships, and enjoy the peaceful paradise created for us by our Creator.

Serving an Important Purpose

It is comforting to know we continue in spirit beyond life on Earth, and that the experience of transitioning from this world to the next is one in which we are enveloped in love and surrounded by an amazing delegation of our loved ones in spirit, the Angels, or past spiritual masters. Even though death is only a transition to the next world, it is important to remember we are meant to be here on Earth to complete the lessons we set out to do. When our natural time to cross over comes, it is good to know we will not be alone and that another, more peaceful chapter awaits our souls.

The Archangels and their Divine Responsibilities

Each one of us has a Heavenly Support Team which is made up of God, the Archangels, past spiritual masters (highly spiritual beings who walked the Earth), spirit guides, and loved ones in spirit. All of these beings hear your prayers which are sent through the invisible network at heart of our spirits which connects us with all beings. When praying, many appeal to our Creator, God, with prayers first and foremost. When calling on specific Archangels, past spiritual masters, spirit guides, and loved ones in spirit to help, we are asking God’s appointed specialists and volunteers to assist us directly through the gifts bestowed upon them by God to act as an advocate on our behalf for the delivery and answering of our prayers.

The Archangels have been given the monumental task of managing life on Earth, including the creation and facilitation of soul contracts, life paths, the spiritual development of souls, order within the natural world, and much more. Each Archangel has a different area of expertise which works in conjunction with all of the other Archangels to ensure the best possible journeys for all on Earth while working in tandem with Heaven and God’s plans.

The Archangels Assist Humankind

There are many orders of angels. The Archangels, by special appointment by God, have been tasked with the helping of humanity as we journey through our lives on Earth. Each one has specific areas of concentration and can be called upon at any time for assistance. The Archangels do not tire and can be in more than one place at a time. They like us to call on them for help, for it is within the asking that we acknowledge their presence and can attribute the miracles we experience to their loving assistance and God’s hand.

While it is comforting to have a formal prayer to request assistance, it is not necessary. When I ask for help, I speak to the Archangels as I would with my best friends, in a conversational tone. It is important to note that the way the Archangels appear to me may be slightly different for each person with regard to the colors of the energies, what they are holding, and the form of the animal spirit. Your personal experiences with the Angels and how they appear to you can be a very unique experience which is dependent upon your personal symbols and databank of experiences. Archangels can appear to you with either male or female attributes. As beings in spirit, there is no set gender and, therefore, will come to you in the form with which you are most comfortable. The list below includes some of the more well-known Archangels, including brief explanations of their areas of expertise and what you can call on them for, as well as how they appear to me in energetic form, relatable visual images seen through my gifts of clairvoyance (aka., extrasensory seeing), and symbolic animal forms.

Archangel Michael – The Great Defender and Protector

Of all the Archangels, Michael is the head of this order. He is often depicted with sword in hand. He appears to me as bright and shimmering golden energy (this color is associated with the higher heavenly energy chakras located well above the head), as an image of a brilliant golden wing, in human form dressed in white with wings and carrying a sword or glowing with a gold aura, and in the form of birds of prey, such as falcons and hawks. He is the Great Defender of all that is good. He can be called upon for strength and courage, as well as protection. He often appears to let you know you are protected and loved. His presence is reassuring and powerful. In healing situations, he is there to strengthen the determination to heal, provide positive energy through love, and encourage the continual search for truth within the depths of your soul. His healing extends to all aspects of the mind, body, and spirit, including healing from the loss of a loved one, addictions, physical ailments, depression, the restoration of faith, and assistance with the cutting of relationship cords. Archangel Michael is also the protector of those who work within the light of God.

Archangel Raphael – The Divine Healer of Physical Ailments

This amazing Archangel has been tasked with the healing of humankind on every level, but especially for the healing of the physical bodies of all living creatures. Raphael appears to me as deep royal blue energy (this color is associated with the third-eye chakra located on the forehead between the eyebrows), in human form dressed in white with wings and hands held at chest-level facing outward to bring healing or with a stunning azure blue aura, and in the form of a wolf or deer. The nurturing energies of the wolf as it cares for its young, as well as its strong loyalty and fierce protectiveness are combined to help with the healing process. Archangel Raphael may appear in the form of a deer as a sign of reassurance regarding healing and as a reminder to be gentle with the self and others as you go through the healing process. Call on Archangel Raphael when you or those that you love are in need of healing of the physical body.

Archangel Azrael – The Benevolent Transformer of Mental and Emotional Anxieties

A tower of strength, this Archangel’s responsibilities include helping us to heal from the loss of a loved one, as well as from depression and illnesses which affect our mental and emotional systems. Archangel Azrael also helps those in the process of transitioning from life on Earth to an existence in Heaven. This Archangel appears to me as bright red energy, which is associated with the root chakra at the base of our spines. Red is a grounding energy which helps us to be at home here on Earth. Archangel Azrael also appears to me in human form dressed in white holding a red, glowing heart symbolizing the love employed with healing, and as a reminder of our connection with one another through unconditional love. Doves are another form Archangel Azrael takes as they are signs of peace and carry with them the reminder to be at peace with yourself and your circumstances. When calling on Archangel Azrael for assistance with stressful situations, addictions, grief, depression and mental or emotional illnesses, the person on the receiving end of the assistance may experience an unusual state of calm which settles over them. It is not a euphoric feeling, but rather one of stability and inner stillness because Azrael is preventing the negative voice of the human ego from penetrating and taking over the thoughts of the recipient.

Archangel Uriel – The Divine Pillar of Solitary Strength

A symbol of the wizened hermit, this Archangel assists with feelings of loneliness which may threaten to overwhelm from time to time. Archangel Uriel appears to me as light blue energy (this color is associated with the throat chakra for speaking our truths) or deep ochre or mustard-colored energy, which is associated with the solar plexus chakra located in the area of the stomach and administrates intuition and psychic energy. This Archangel also appears in human form with wings and dressed in white carrying a lantern to light the way or in the animal form of a blue jay or blue bird. Archangel Uriel helps us to learn how to be alone without being lonely, how to appreciate our own company, and how to delve within our spirits to reveal the mysteries of our existence. Any time you or someone you love is experiencing sadness due to loneliness, call on Archangel Uriel to help to see the wonders that exist within your soul or the soul for whom you are praying. Moreover, you can call on Archangel Uriel to explore the mysteries of the universe. Answers will be delivered through spirit communication, automatic writing, meditation journeys, and epiphanies. When this Archangel appears to you in the form of a blue bird or blue jay, it is to provide a reminder to be mindful of your path and that your current thought pattern may contain faulty information. Examine what you were thinking of when you see a blue jay or blue bird to determine if Archangel Uriel was trying to help you to see another side of a situation in order to steer you toward a more positive outcome. Seeing the blue bird or blue jay may also provide a heads up about a potentially negative situation that will appear. This is does not mean a dire situation is about to occur, but rather one in which learning will be required. The heads up provides you an opportunity to be ready to accept whatever comes, knowing the issue is only temporary.

Archangel Chamuel – The Divine Benefactor of Unconditional Love

This is the Archangel of unconditional love and self-love. Archangel Chamuel appears to me in energy form as soft green or pink energy filled with love (these colors are associated with the heart chakra), in human form with wings and dressed in pink or green robes with hands placed over the heart, and in the form of a rabbit or hare. The energy of the rabbit is a reminder of gentle love and warmth. Rabbits create burrows in the Earth to house themselves and their families. Grouped together, they snuggle for warmth and care for one another when storms rage overhead. In this manner, Archangel Chamuel brings us great warmth within our hearts and encourages us to reach out to others with love and caring, as well as to provide caring for ourselves. The healing this Archangel brings centers around the heart chakra and the healing of emotional issues surrounding relationships with ourselves and others. Call on Archangel Chamuel for help with loving and appreciating who you are, as well as for help with all relationships in your life.

Archangel Haniel – The Divine Healer of Families and Relationships

The healing of family bonds and relationships is the specialty of this Archangel. Appearing to me energetically as pale blue energy (this color is associated with the throat chakra which is important for communications), in human form with wings and dressed in light blue with a gold chained necklace symbolizing how we are linked to one another, and in the form of a turtle. The energy of the turtle highlights relationships, as well as the healing of issues of abandonment. Call on Archangel Haniel to help mend relationships within your family of birth, adopted family members including friends who have become family, children, and romantic relationships. The healing process of Archangel Haniel is a gentle one. It centers on communication by encouraging the exchange of open dialog in which both parties exchange thoughts and feelings in ways that can be heard and accepted by you and others.

Archangel Gabriel – The Great Messenger

This Archangel has been tasked with the creation of ideas and creativity, belief in oneself and one’s goals, and is known as the Great Messenger. Archangel Gabriel appears to me energetically as vibrant violet energy (this color is associated with the crown chakra at the top of the head through which spirit communication flows), in human form with wings and dressed in white while holding the golden horn, and in the form of a crow, raven, or lion. The energy of the crow and the raven focus on messages from the Other Side. Archangel Gabriel acts as a muse to share inspirational messages to those on Earth to stimulate progress and bring new ideas into being. With that energy comes a strong belief in the self to carry out the objectives and goals to completion. Spiritual openness and the ability to utilize the simplicity, trust, and innocence we experience as children are areas in which Archangel Gabriel assists. Call on Archangel Gabriel for help with ideas, inspiration in creative pursuits, and the energy, opportunities, and resources to complete projects. The energy of the lion, which symbolizes the strength, determination and playfulness brought to us by Archangel Gabriel, helps us with our goals while reminding us to take a rest when needed to restore the mind, body, and spirit to full capacity.

Archangel Ariel – The Great Earth Mother

As the Archangel who oversees the planet Earth and all of its creatures, Archangel Ariel emphasizes the natural world and its incredible healing powers. The Earth, which provides everything we need to survive on a physical level, is vital to our human existence. Archangel Ariel’s restorative powers and emphasis on the cycles and rhythms of all life, assist us with graceful acceptance of life and death, of love and loss, and brings us the positive energies associated with new beginnings and balance. This Archangel appears to me energetically as light purple energy mixed with pink (these colors are associated with the crown and heart chakras that must remain in balance as we make our way through life), in human form with wings and dressed in earth-toned colors and surrounded by trees and multiple animals, and in the form of swans, geese, and ducks. The energy of aquatic birds symbolizes the emotional nature of the soul, as well as the deep peace that can be attained by gliding through life with deep trust in the path you have chosen for yourself. Call on Archangel Ariel to help with prevention and recovery of natural disasters, to assist with the thriving growth and good health of animals and plants, and bring peace to your life through natural means.

Archangel Metatron – The Great Instigator of Powerful Change

A powerful initiator of change, Archangel Metatron orchestrates events on Earth with a magical touch. Miraculous events, transformations, and spirit-to-spirit communications are the areas Archangel Metatron is passionate about. This Archangel appears to me in energetic form as shimmering deep violet and silver energies (these colors are associated with the crown chakra and the higher heavenly energy chakras located well above the head), in human form with wings and dressed in violet and silver while holding a spinning cube, and in the form of the butterfly or the majestic eagles and condors. The energy of the butterfly is one of transformation and swift change, which are brought about by calling on Archangel Metatron. The energies of the eagles and condors symbolize sharp attention to detail while also keeping an eye on the larger scope of events. Call on Archangel Metatron to clear your mind of unnecessary clutter in order to pinpoint your focus on what is truly important, to bring about positive changes with lightning speed, and bring miracles to your life.

Archangel Zadkiel – The Divine Guide of Life Paths and Sexuality

This hardworking Archangel assists with issues surrounding forgiveness and all forms of abuse, as well as occupations and productive use of time. Archangel Zadkiel appears to me as vibrant orange energy (this color is associated with the sacral chakra located two inches below the navel and is the seat of earthly experiences, including sexuality and occupations), in human form with wings and dressed in khaki robes  and a tool in hand, and in the form of beavers and otters. The energies of the beaver represent hard work while the energies of the otter are reminders to take time out to play. Call on Archangel Zadkiel for assistance with working through strong negative feelings and experiences in order to come to a place of forgiveness of the self and others, for healing from situations of abuse, for issues surrounding sexuality, when looking for a job best suited for your skills and life path, and when you are in need of establishing a better work/life balance.

Archangel Jeremiel – The Divine Deliverer of Mercy and Grace

Amazing mercy, grace, and justice is the primary focus of this Archangel. Appearing to me energetically as shimmering deep emerald green and gold energies (these colors represent the heart and higher heavenly energy chakras located well above the head), Archangel Jeremiel provides a spiritual cleansing of our souls through the provision of mercy, increased faith, and an easing of troublesome situations. When appearing in my third-eye in human form, this Archangel appears with wings wearing deep emerald robes shimmering with gold and silver ornamentation. In animal form, Archangel Jeremiel shows symbolic representation through large felines, such as the cheetah, leopard, and pumas, who defend their territories, use quick bursts of speed and agility to accomplish goals, and move with great confidence on the Earth. Archangel Jeremiel may also appear in the form of the owl, known for its wisdom, attention to detail, and excellent sight and hearing. Calling on this Archangel brings swift transformation of painful situations while also providing an interlude to gather ones’ resources for any pending battles. This is especially true for pending lawsuits and legal issues. The meting out of justice in a way that benefits all parties, whether through lessons or mercy, is overseen by Archangel Jeremiel.

Archangel Jophiel – The Great Giver of Joy

Presenting as deep fuchsia energy swirled with lighter pinks (these colors represent the emotional portions of the heart chakra) in energetic form, Archangel Jophiel is the angel of joy and positive transformations. When this Archangel appears in human form, it is with wings and fine robes of deep and light pink with a jeweled scepter in hand. In animal form, Archangel Jophiel appears as a heron, which is symbolic of soaring to great heights and living life in a unique way by listening within. Archangel Jophiel provides assistance with refocusing on positive experiences of life, encouraging inner journeys which lead to the discovery of soul-specific solutions for your life’s passions, and raising your energy levels and thoughts toward the light to inspire the giving and receiving of unconditional love. The keen intelligence, playfulness, and communal relationships of the dolphins are additional animal energies which represent Archangel Jophiel. Archangel Raguel – The Divine Peacekeeper of Synchronicity

This Archangel is tasked with the role of peacemaker for those on Earth and in Heaven. Archangel Raguel has the unique position of maintaining balance and harmony while managing the real time facilitation of events related to our soul contracts. For every action, there is a reaction which affects the paths of our lives. Appearing in energetic form as illuminated medium brown energy interspersed with gold hues (these colors represent the warm and friendly energies of the Earth chakra located below the feet and the higher heavenly energy chakras located above the head), Archangel Raguel reminds us that we are here to help one another on our journeys through life. This Archangel also coordinates with all of the other Archangels to ensure the synchronicity of their collective services to humanity and the natural world. In human form, Raquel appears with wings in flowing white robes and a large book in hand. The book represents the Akashic records stored within the Hall of Records, which contain all of the information about what was, is, and will be for each being in existence. This Archangel appears in animal form as the mouse, groundhog, opossum, skunk, and raccoon, all of which reside out of site from humans. The energy of the mouse is quiet productivity of the multitudes, while the groundhog digs deeper for answers and represents the world of dreams, the opossum represents family nurturing, and the skunk and raccoon represent the cleanup crew. Bees and ants are also symbolic of this Archangel, as they represent working together in harmony, with each member of the hive or hill following through with important tasks down to the last detail.  When faced with situations that seem out of sync, call on Archangel Raguel to restore order and balance through peaceful means. You can also appeal to Archangel Raguel for changes to your soul contracts, help with teamwork or group situations, assistance with creating a harmonious environment in your home and at your place of work, and the opportunity to explore the Hall of Records through meditation and visions.

Archangel Raziel – The Divine Keeper of Mysteries

As the gatekeeper of divine information, Archangel Raziel governs the veil between the worlds of Heaven and Earth, the subconscious, dreams, and the gifts of mediumship, also known as spirit-to-spirit communication or spirit communication. This Archangel appears to me in energetic form as brilliant white energy interspersed with radiant rainbows of color (these colors represent the energy of Heaven, as well as all of the combined energy centers of the soul). In human form, Archangel Raziel emanates incredible white light while holding aloft a blazing ring in the shape of a figure eight (also referred to as an infinity ring) representing the infinite existence of our souls. Call on this Archangel when you are searching for answers about the mysteries and inner workings of the universe, when you need help with the interpretation of dreams, and when you need assistance or are ready to work with the higher energies of Heaven through spirit communication. In animal form, Archangel Raziel appears as birds with white feathers, which represents the beauty and purity of the unconditional love from which we were created. Additionally, this Archangel symbolically appears in the form of fish, representing the fluidity of divine communications, situations of divine emotional importance, and the surreal world of dreams.

Archangel Sandalphon – The Divine Nurturer

Music in Heaven and on Earth, as well as the sending and receiving of prayers, are the specialties of this Archangel. Appearing as light beige energy swirled with pink and light green (these colors represent the warm and friendly energies of the Earth chakra located below the feet and the heart chakra), Archangel Sandalphon nurtures our souls with music and is responsible for auditory communications between Heaven and Earth, including prayers and clairaudient (extrasensory hearing) spirit communications. In human form, Archangel Sandalphon appears with wings in robes of white and carrying a glowing golden harp. In animal form, this Archangel symbolically appears as frogs, crickets, cicadas, birds, and other animals and insects that sing and make unique melodic sounds. You can call on Archangel Sandalphon when you need assistance with the creation of music, greater clarity and understanding with communication, sleep and relaxation issues, anxiety, meditation, and the swift delivery of prayers through this special advocate. In human form, this Archangel appears with wings wearing flowing white and pink robes and holding a glowing white orb cupped between two hands. Ladybugs, dragonflies, hummingbirds, and butterflies are all favorite representations of Archangel Barachiel in animal form as they are bright, happy reminders of Heaven. Call on Archangel Barachiel when you are in need of miracles in your life, help with maintaining a positive outlook, assistance with a boost to your morale, and help letting go of circumstances from the past which have been dragging you down.

Spirit Medium Readings PAFears of Passing

Death, which can be one of the most feared aspects of our lives, is a transition into another form of existence in which our soul moves forth to another dimension. As a Spirit Medium, I am blessed with the ability to communicate across dimensions with all beings through spirit-to-spirit communication. Because of this, I have been given amazing insights into the continued existence of our souls, what happens in Heaven, the inner workings of our universe, and much more. As the information is revealed, I love to share it with you in order to help you and your loved ones to have a better understanding about our existence beyond life on Earth.

Lightness of the Soul

Everything around us is comprised of energy, including our physical bodies and our souls. When are no longer in need of our physical bodies here on Earth, the lighter energetic forms of our souls are released from our earthly housings. Because we are no longer limited or hampered by the dense energy of the physical form, we are free to travel to the next destination for our souls.

What Happens Next

When a person’s physical body expires on Earth, there are many events that take place to help us with the transition from having a physical existence on Earth to an existence in spirit in Heaven. Regardless of whether someone passes suddenly, such as from an accident or massive heart attack, or over a long period of time, such as from an illness, there is a delegation of one to three beings from the Other Side that act as guides to the transition process.

A Spiritual Delegation Arrives to Help with Your Transition

The delegation can be made of up loved ones in spirit who have already crossed over, including pets, or angels and past spiritual masters, who are highly spiritual beings who lived an impactful lifetime on Earth sharing divinity and bringing spiritual enlightenment to the world through love.

Events in the Moment

With a passing due to a long-term condition, the soul is usually aware that their time on Earth has come to an end. In the days and weeks leading up to his or her passing, loved ones in spirit often make their presence known through dreams or visions while awake. Those in the process of dying often hold conversations with their delegation guides who often share insights into Heaven, as well as the process of transitioning, in order to bring peace and understanding to the soul.

In the case of a sudden passing, there can be a wide range of emotions experienced by the recently deceased including upset, anger, and confusion. Delegation guides are there to help the person to understand their time on Earth has come to an end and to let them know their transition to Heaven has arrived. Initially, the soul may resist leaving, as they may be in denial about their passing, are concerned about loved ones left behind, or feel they are not done with their time on Earth. The delegation guides do their best to provide comfort, understanding, and information to help the soul to accept the ending of their time on Earth and the beginning of their transition to the next dimension.

With regard to those who purposefully ended their lives, the delegation is there for them, too. All souls go to Heaven; however, there can be a delay caused by the soul who believes they do not belong in Heaven because of their actions and what they have been taught on Earth by various religious beliefs. The soul needs to know it is worthy of transitioning to Heaven before it crosses over. They do receive help from the delegation guides which, in this case, are usually higher beings, also referred to as angels.

The Gateway Appears

When the soul is ready to make its transition, a gateway filled with brilliant white light opens. When I see this light, it is so bright it is painful to look at. It is because my time has not yet arrived to cross through the gateway. For those who are ready to cross, the light is brilliant and warm, and welcomes the soul with great waves of love. Through information shared with me from people in spirit and my own quest for divine knowledge, it has been revealed that the soul, once it steps through the gateway, travels through the portal on a most personal journey. The delegation guides lead the soul to the portal but do not go through the transition process with them. It is because it is a private journey in which the soul is provided with highlights of positive events throughout their life on Earth and are provided with instructions for their arrival in Heaven. The experience can also include one-on-one time with our Creator. The transition process through what is commonly referred to as “The Tunnel,” is unique to each individual and can take several hours Earth time to complete.

Heavenly Arrival

Once a soul has arrived in Heaven, the delegation guides, official greeters, and select loved ones who have already crossed over into Heaven are there to welcome the soul with a loving reunion. Shortly after the soul’s arrival, there is a grand homecoming celebration held in honor of the soul in which all loved ones in spirit attend, including beloved pets in spirit. People on the Other Side often show me themselves dressed in stunning white formal wear for the gala event, including tuxedos with tails, gorgeous gowns, and other glamorous outfits befitting the wearers. All are smiling and having a wonderful time as they celebrate and honor the soul of the loved one newly arrived in Heaven.

For those who have purposefully taken their lives, there is a slightly different process that occurs. Instead of a large celebration, the soul is reunited with loved ones who have crossed before them, then they go to the Spiritual Hospital, which is like a mental health hospital that is attended to by specific orders of angels, in which they begin the process of healing their soul for the pain they endured in life, as well as for the soul-wrenching experience of ending his or her life prior to plans that were determined before he or she was born. Because there is no equivalent time measure for Heaven, the best estimate I have received for the amount of time a loved one in spirit is in the Spiritual Hospital ranges from two weeks to six months Earth time. It all depends on the soul and the healing they need. Like a mental health hospital, visitors are welcome and outpatient care is available when the soul is ready. Once healing has taken place, a more subdued and intimate reunion party is held to honor the soul. As a consequence of purposefully ending life on Earth prior to the agreed upon timeframe, the soul must return for another lifetime to redo and complete the lessons left unlearned. This does not usually happen immediately, but after healing has taken place, skills have been learned to better manage the lessons, and other loved ones have naturally completed their lifetimes and reunited with the soul in Heaven.

Visiting Hours with Family and Friends

It is interesting to note that our recently departed loved ones do visit us soon after their passing. They can send us signs letting us know they are okay and have made it to Heaven. They are often accompanied by other loved ones in spirit who have crossed over before them. Those loved ones in spirit help with the process of sending signs and giving comfort to those of us still on Earth, while also supporting the newly arrived soul. In addition, the newly arrived souls are often in attendance for their own memorial services, including those who have purposefully taken their lives. Once the services have concluded, the souls then move forward to the next phase of their transition, which is the objective review of their lives on Earth.

Judgment Day is Not a Condemnation, But an Objective Review

What some refer to as “Judgment Day” is not a terrifying experience in which you are made to account for all of the wrongs you committed on Earth, but rather an objective review of your soul contracts and whether you learned the lessons you agreed to prior to your birth. One of the most important questions we are asked is, “How Have You Loved?” It is asked in the context of not only how you have loved others, but also yourself. The significance of this question, as well as the way it was revealed to me through a powerful visionary experience, prompted me to immediately decide it would be the title of my first book. Love, and learning how to love, is one of our main reasons for being. Those who have caused pain to themselves and others during their lifetimes, often go to the Spiritual Hospital for healing. Once there, they learn about how and why events occurred and receive assistance to help their souls to accept accountability, including how to cope with the results of their actions. Every soul has a purpose on this Earth, whether they are younger souls learning through trial and error how love is our reason for being or older souls who already know love is the primary reason for our existence. We are all here to assist one another on the spiritual journey our souls take as human beings.

Enjoying the Heavenly Surroundings

Throughout the review process and beyond, we are free to enjoy Heaven by creating beautiful spaces for ourselves, learning new skills including how to watch over and communicate with loved ones on Earth, and much, much more. Often, we decide to look like we did on Earth because we are used to that form of ourselves, and we are usually the younger versions of ourselves. This is the same for the pets that come through in spirit. I usually see them around the age of two or three when they were in their prime.

Serving an Important Purpose

It is comforting to know we continue on in spirit beyond life on Earth, and that the experience of transitioning from this world to the next is one in which we are enveloped in love and surrounded by an amazing delegation of our loved ones in spirit who have already crossed over, the angels, and past spiritual masters. Even though death is only a transition to the next world, it is important to remember we are meant to be here on Earth to complete the lessons we set out to do. When our natural time to cross over comes, it is good to know we will not be alone and that another, more peaceful chapter awaits our souls.
