Life on Earth is an accelerated course for soul evolution. We have voluntarily opted to live a lifetime on Earth to learn lessons for the development of our souls, and the negativity we encounter speeds up the process. In Heaven, negativity does not exist. Soul development does occur there; however, the lessons are based more on the giving of service, learning about the many levels of existence, and exploring the multi-faceted methods for communicating across planes.

In our journey through life, we are not left to our own devices. Each of us is given extra assistance from our Heavenly Support Team, which includes God, the angels, loved ones in spirit, past spiritual masters, and spirit guides. They send us signs and messages on a daily basis that can help guide us on our life paths. The key to unlocking the knowledge that is at our disposal is to learn how to recognize and decipher the communications that are being sent from your support team in Heaven. The benefits of receiving this insider advice is almost immeasurable, as it can have far-reaching effects on the positive development of your soul.

Ascension Removes the Veil

When our loved ones ascend to Heaven, knowledge that was obscured from them while on Earth is revealed, giving them a better understanding of the reasons behind their experiences on Earth. They do not become all-knowing, but they do attain greater insight that enables them to see the events on Earth from a more informed perspective. Your Personal Tour Guides for Life

Each day you can receive messages from spirit that are like sign posts directing you toward the best path in your daily life, which also impacts your overall life plan. It is like having extremely knowledgeable tour guides to help you navigate the vast experiences of life on Earth. Because these tour guides are in the energy form of spirit and have advanced communication abilities, they use all our senses to get their messages across to us. The greatest challenge they have in communicating with human beings is the built-in system that purposefully creates obstacles through the illusion of fear. This system is referred to as the human ego. It is the seat of negative thoughts that tell you this cannot be possible, that you will not succeed, or that signs and messages from spirit are just a coincidence. You can teach yourself to break past the negative illusions and thoughts to experience the extraordinary connections with your Heavenly Support Team.

Breaking through the Veil

The mental block that is put in place when we are born, otherwise known as the human ego, is a veil that can be parted through conscious awareness of the existence of life beyond the human experience. The first step to managing the negativity created by the human ego is to recognize when thoughts of failure, dismissal, and self-depreciation enter our minds. Halt those thoughts in their tracks by acknowledging their presence and thinking “STOP” in your mind. Then, replace those thoughts with positive affirmations or beliefs about the topic. For example, if you catch yourself thinking the repeated references you keep seeing about your loved one in Heaven are just a coincidence, say “STOP” in your mind, and replace it with “There are no coincidences. These are signs from my loved one in Heaven.” By opening your mind to the extraordinary possibilities of the universe and trusting that loving spirits do exist on other planes, you can consciously open the communication channel that moves past the ego and delivers specific and helpful guidance for your life path.

Everyone Is Born with the Gift of Mediumship to Some Degree

Everyone is born with the ability to communicate via spirit. It is the way we communicate with God, the angels, our loved ones in spirit, spirit guides, and each other. Our prayers, thoughts, and requests for assistance are sent to God, the angels, and our loved ones using telepathic transmissions from one spirit to another, similar to the way in which wireless signals are sent from one computer to another.

When we communicate with each other on Earth, these signals are being sent back and forth via our spirits; however, it is something that occurs in the background of conscious awareness. When you are speaking with someone, you know in your heart when a person’s words do not sound or feel right. There may be a nagging thought in the back of your mind or a slight clenching of your stomach muscles that may indicate that this person is not speaking his or her truth. This intuitive information comes from your spirit which houses a higher consciousness and understanding of spirit-to-spirit communication.

A Map to Lead the Way

The benefits of tuning in to the positive messages which come from enlightened beings in Heaven can be equated to being given a map to help you find the most beneficial path to get to your destination, which is the evolvement of your soul through life lessons. Please know that spiritual beings will not give you all the answers or solve all your problems for you. They will sometimes only provide clues or messages to guide you along the way. It is your job as a soul seeking knowledge and learning lessons to make decisions through free will. If you were given all the answers, lessons would not be learned and there would be no point in taking the journey.

Examples of Signs

There are many ways that our Heavenly Support Team sends us messages. It is an abstract form of communication that uses all our senses and goes beyond straightforward verbal and non-verbal cues. Your mind must be open to experiencing and recognizing the extraordinary in the ordinary that surrounds you each day. Here are a few of the more common methods used to transmit messages:

  • Music – Songs you hear in your head or that play on the radio at seemingly coincidental times, are often messages from spirit. Pay attention to the lyrics that you are hearing. If you do not know all the words to the song or the title, look it up. There is a message in it for you about a current event in your life. You could also be hearing music that reminds you of a loved one who has passed away. For instance, my dad loved the band, I often hear “Don’t Stop Believing” in my head or on the radio at times when I need a positive boost. As a note, negative songs and lyrics are not sent from your Heavenly Support Team. They only send positive or helpful messages to help you navigate your life.
  • Visual Clues – When you see an object or image that reminds you of a loved one, it is them letting you know that they are around and that they are sending their love. For instance, one morning I turned on my television and there was a show on about model trains that popped up on the screen. I have no idea what channel I had left the television on the night before, but this was odd because it appeared to be a very old show from the 1960s. I immediately knew this was my dad letting me know that he was around and that he was sending me his love. His major hobby was collecting model trains. There are no coincidences in this world, and many people may have written that off as strange, but if you open your mind, you can learn how to recognize these subtle, and not-so-subtle, messages from spirit.
    • When sending guidance, pay attention to repeated messages that you see or read. Your Heavenly Support Team will place visual items in your path to help provide answers or guidance. Again, there are no coincidences. Pay attention to repetitious messages and signs as they are trying to help you.
  • Feeling a Presence – Some people on Earth have a very strong sense of extrasensory feeling, or clairsentience. They can physically feel the presence of a loved one in spirit. I often feel the presence of my cats who are in Heaven when I lay down to go to sleep. I feel the warmth of their love in the shape of their bodies that they had on Earth. It feels like a living cat has curled up next to me, and it may be accompanied by the feeling of a slight depression in the bed where they are laying. This may sound scary to some who have not experienced it; however, for those of us who have, it is comforting to feel the warmth and affection of loved ones in spirit.
    • When guidance comes through the sense of feeling, you may experience a feeling that something is off with a situation, which may be accompanied by a clenching of your stomach. If it is an uplifting feeling of joy or great hope, you are being given approval to move forward.
  • Scent in the Air – Have you ever picked up on a scent in the air that does not seem to fit in with your surroundings, such as cookies baking in your office or cigar smoke in a non-smoking hotel? Loved ones in spirit alter the molecules in the air to pipe in certain scents that remind you of them. It could be the smell of their perfume or a mechanic’s garage. When you pick up these unusual scents in the air that seem to have no logical source, who is it that you think of? Is it your grandmother who baked great cookies for family gatherings? Is it your father who used to love working on cars and often came home smelling of grease and oil from his mechanic’s garage? The scents are usually strong and distinct, and they may be picked up on by others in your vicinity. That is because the scent is piped into the air when they send this type of message to you.
    • Guidance through the sense of smell can sometimes have unusual connotations. For example, my Heavenly Support Team uses the scent of a skunk to indicate someone is on the defensive. When this occurs, I know how to handle the situation with great care as the person I am talking to may not be able to hear what needs to be said because they are too busy feeling as though they need to defend themselves or that they do not want to be negatively perceived for their decisions.
  • Cravings Out of the Blue – Have you ever had a sudden craving for your deceased mother’s apple pie, a craving so strong that you can taste it in your mouth? This is yet another way that spirit sends messages to us. The way they send this message is like the way they send messages that utilize our sense of smell. They alter the molecules in the air to send energy associated with certain tastes to the sensors in our mouths. This type of message is usually confused with physical cravings for certain foods. It is important when you experience a very strong craving to take a moment to think about whether this is a message being sent from spirit. Do you associate what you are craving with a particular loved one in Heaven? If so, acknowledge the loved one in spirit for their presence and the sign they sent. Know that they are there to support you in your endeavors and want you to know they are there for you.

When you recognize the signs sent by your Heavenly Support Team, be sure to thank them for their efforts. They are always pleased when their transmissions are successful because it means that you are open and paying attention to their loving messages and guidance. You can also ask them for clarity and for more signs to reinforce the direction they would like you to go.

Messages in Music from Loved Ones in Spirit

Music is an incredible blending of sounds which taps into the power of our emotions. In addition to making us want to dance, laugh, cry, and more, it brings up memories that speak to our souls. Every day, we hear songs on the radio, jingles on TV, soundtracks from movies, streaming from the Internet, someone singing a song as they walk down the street, and in our mind. The songs may seem random; however, at times, they carry messages of import from the Other Side.

The Music Around Us

Have you ever had a song play in your vicinity that matches what you were thinking at that very moment or reminds you of a loved one in spirit? Is it a coincidence or is it your loved ones in spirit sending you a message? More often than not, it is our loved ones in spirit helping us with our lives or letting us know they are around. There are no coincidences in this world. Our loved ones in spirit often use music to communicate with us.

Music That Plays in Your Head

When you have a song that is playing in your head, have you ever wondered why you are hearing it? The song, as well as the lyrics, may be providing you with an answer to help you with your life. The music is being sent by your loved ones in spirit. It is one of the ways they can get direct messages to you without using a spirit medium.

Messages in the Music

Pay attention to the lyrics of songs that play in your head. If you do not know all the lyrics, search for them online by typing in the word “lyrics” then whatever words you have. You will find the song because they are using your music, not theirs, to get the messages through. When it is a song that reminds you of a loved one, that is their way of letting you know they are around. When it is your music, they are trying to give you an answer or guidance. It is helpful to try to remember what you were thinking about right before the music started playing in your head as the music often contains their message to you about that situation. One of my favorite examples is when I booked a 3-day expo in Maryland but then had a slight feeling of foreboding about it. I went outside and sat on my bench out front and asked my loved ones in spirit if I should cancel the booking. At first, I did not receive an answer, so I decided to go back in the house. As I was walking into the house I heard the lyrics, “when it’s time to change, it’s time to rearrange,” from The Brady Bunch show playing in my head. I stopped in my tracks and realized they wanted me to cancel the booking. I did and it was a good thing, too. As it turned out, there was a hurricane which blew through the expo that weekend. No one got hurt, but all the booths were destroyed. I have certainly learned to listen to the intuitive feelings and messages in the music I receive, and I hope you do, too, from here on out. As a note, if you were thinking about when a particular outcome would happen, such as when you would get a job, and you are hearing a song which highlights a time of year, it is not the lyrics, but the timing they are providing. For instance, if you are hearing “The Monster Mash,” the timing would be October because it is a Halloween song.

Memories and Knowing Loved Ones in Spirit Are Around

Songs may turn your thoughts toward memories of a deceased loved one. For instance, when I hear the Beatles’ song “Michelle” in my head, I know that my best friend, Michele, who passed away more than two decades ago, is nearby and sending me her love. At other times, when I was struggling with a particularly vexing issue, I would hear “All You Need Is Love,” again, by the Beatles’. It was being sent by Michele, as we loved listening to them together, and it was her way of making me smile knowing she was sending me her love.

Important Note

It is important to note that loved ones in spirit will never send you any messages telling you to hurt yourself or anyone else. They are there to help you, not to bring harm. Also, if they have a sense of humor, they will use that to make you laugh or to lighten up the mood for you.

Loving the Messages in Music

The more you pay attention to the messages your loved ones in spirit send through music, the more they will use it to let you know they are around or to help you with your life. Enjoy the music and the messages!

Managing Challenging Circumstances

During times of uncertainty, it can be challenging to see the positives or to move beyond our fears and concerns to a place in which we can make sound decisions. Often, the unknowns may present problems which seem insurmountable; however, with a little ingenuity, we can figure out what actions we can and cannot take to make the best of the situations in which we find ourselves.

Managing Initial Shock and Emotions

Initially, when we experience powerful life-altering events, shock and fear may rise to the surface. Safety and security may be foremost on our minds as we try to navigate a path through uncertain circumstances. Questions about what actions would be best to take race through our minds, as confusion and uncertainty create a sense of panic. It may seem as though life does not provide us with the time we need to work through our emotions and thoughts before having to make decisions or to take actions. Even though it may seem as though events are pressing in, there is still time to assess situations before making impactful decisions. When feeling the pressure, you may not be in the best state of mind to make clear decisions. If it is at all possible, wait at least 24 hours prior to making a decision about something that could greatly impact your life. Decisions under pressure can lead to undesired results because emotions can get in the way. By taking that step back, you are giving your mind and soul the opportunity to further process the information without reacting solely based on emotion or fears.

After the Initial Shock

Once we have worked through the initial impacts, shock, and fearful emotions, there can still be many unknowns we need to work through that can be impeded by worries about long-term outcomes and what our lives will be like in the future. With circumstances beyond our control and no immediate solutions to return to what we once knew, creativity can be used to find solutions.

One Step at a Time

Approach tasks and decisions one step at a time. If you do not have all the information you need, try to find out more through research or learn to work with what you have. Look for alternatives. Be creative with your solutions. If you are having a hard time seeing alternatives, ask for help from your friends, loved ones, and trusted advisors. Seek out expert counsel and do your research. Instead of getting stuck thinking about the problem, look toward solutions and actions you can take, both big and small.

Maintaining a State of Calm

When living through times of great uncertainty, maintaining a sense of calm can be challenging. There will be good days when you are working with the circumstances and taking positive actions. There will also be days when your worries build up causing upset and anxiety. This is to be expected. Allow yourself to work through your emotions; however, do your best not to let your worries and fears take over your mindset. Getting stuck in a pattern of indecision is a sign of allowing fears to take over. This can lead to inaction and unintended consequences. Actively research solutions and actions you can take. By taking these steps, no matter how small, it will help you to move forward. Moreover, acknowledge your feelings and recognize where they are coming from, but then remind yourself of all that you do have that you are grateful for in your life, whether it is your health, the roof over your head, the food on your table, the clothes on your back, your friends and family, your pets, etc. If your emotions are overwhelming you, take your mind off the issues causing you concern by partaking in activities that allow you to relax, such as reading a book, playing a game, trying a new recipe, watching a movie, volunteering to help others, working on a craft or hobby, meditation, talking with a friend or family member over the phone or video chat, listening to music or dancing, cleaning, yard work, or any activity that gives your mind the break it needs to be able to think a little more clearly when you get back to working on solutions.

Knowing You are Not Alone

It is important to know you are not alone during uncertain times. It can be very challenging when we feel as though there is no one there for us in our times of need. Reach out and ask for help when you need it. Not only do you have a network of family members, friends, co-workers, neighbors, pets, community members, and more, but also your Heavenly Support Team. They are with you every step of the way and will help you in any way they can. Take comfort in their presence. Know they love you and want you to succeed. Ask for their help and wait for their answers regarding actions you can take. The answers will come in the form of epiphanies, urges to take positive action, seeming coincidences which lead you to be somewhere at the right time and place, helpful messages through music that plays in your head, and more.

Be Kind to Yourself and Others

While it can be difficult at times to let go of your worries and concerns, do your best to be kind to yourself and others. We are all in this together and we are all doing our best to work through the issues as they arise. Give yourself the time to rest when needed, especially if you are feeling an increase in stress. This will not only be a kindness for you, but also for others, as pent up emotions due to stress may come out when you least expect it and toward people who have done nothing to warrant the anger and distress. If you feel strong emotions rising, try to temporarily remove yourself from the situation which is causing the distress. Count to 10 before reacting or, if possible, take a few deep breaths in through the nose and out through the mouth while telling yourself that everything will be alright. Practicing meditation on a daily basis will help to establish a longer-lasting state of calm.

Prayers for You

As we go through these uncertain times, you are in my thoughts and prayers. Hang in there and remember to take everything one day at a time, one step at a time. We will get through this much stronger and better than before. You are a beautiful light in this world. Do not let uncertain times dim that light or make you believe circumstances cannot or will not improve. They will improve. With patience, creativity, love, understanding, and faith, we can work together toward solutions while supporting one another along the way.

The benefits of tuning in to the positive messages which come from enlightened beings in Heaven can be equated to being given a map to help you find the most beneficial path to get to your destination, which is the evolvement of your soul through life lessons. Please know that spiritual beings will not give you all the answers or solve all your problems for you. They will sometimes only provide clues or messages to guide you along the way. It is your job as a soul seeking knowledge and learning lessons to make decisions through free will. If you were given all the answers, lessons would not be learned and there would be no point in taking the journey.

Examples of Signs

There are many ways that our Heavenly Support Team sends us messages. It is an abstract form of communication that uses all our senses and goes beyond straightforward verbal and non-verbal cues. Your mind must be open to experiencing and recognizing the extraordinary in the ordinary that surrounds you each day. Here are a few of the more common methods used to transmit messages:

  • Music – Songs you hear in your head or that play on the radio at seemingly coincidental times, are often messages from spirit. Pay attention to the lyrics that you are hearing. If you do not know all the words to the song or the title, look it up. There is a message in it for you about a current event in your life. You could also be hearing music that reminds you of a loved one who has passed away. For instance, my dad loved the band, I often hear “Don’t Stop Believing” in my head or on the radio at times when I need a positive boost. As a note, negative songs and lyrics are not sent from your Heavenly Support Team. They only send positive or helpful messages to help you navigate your life.
  • Visual Clues – When you see an object or image that reminds you of a loved one, it is them letting you know that they are around and that they are sending their love. For instance, one morning I turned on my television and there was a show on about model trains that popped up on the screen. I have no idea what channel I had left the television on the night before, but this was odd because it appeared to be a very old show from the 1960s. I immediately knew this was my dad letting me know that he was around and that he was sending me his love. His major hobby was collecting model trains. There are no coincidences in this world, and many people may have written that off as strange, but if you open your mind, you can learn how to recognize these subtle, and not-so-subtle, messages from spirit.
    • When seeking guidance, pay attention to repeated messages that you see or read. Your Heavenly Support Team will place visual items in your path to help provide answers or guidance. Again, there are no coincidences. Pay attention to repetitious messages and signs as they are trying to help you.
  • Feeling a Presence – Some people on Earth have a very strong sense of extrasensory feeling, or clairsentience. They can physically feel the presence of a loved one in spirit. I often feel the presence of my cats who are in Heaven when I lay down to go to sleep. I feel the warmth of their love in the shape of their bodies that they had on Earth. It feels like a living cat has curled up next to me, and it may be accompanied by the feeling of a slight depression in the bed where they are laying. This may sound scary to some who have not experienced it; however, for those of us who have, it is comforting to feel the warmth and affection of loved ones in spirit.
    • When guidance comes through the sense of feeling, you may experience a feeling that something is off with a situation, which may be accompanied by a clenching of your stomach. If it is an uplifting feeling of joy or great hope, you are being given approval to move forward.
  • Scent in the Air – Have you ever picked up on a scent in the air that does not seem to fit in with your surroundings, such as cookies baking in your office or cigar smoke in a non-smoking hotel? Loved ones in spirit alter the molecules in the air to pipe in certain scents that remind you of them. It could be the smell of their perfume or a mechanic’s garage. When you pick up these unusual scents in the air that seem to have no logical source, who is it that you think of? Is it your grandmother who baked great cookies for family gatherings? Is it your father who used to love working on cars and often came home smelling of grease and oil from his mechanic’s garage? The scents are usually strong and distinct, and they may be picked up on by others in your vicinity. That is because the scent is piped into the air when they send this type of message to you.
    • Guidance through the sense of smell can sometimes have unusual connotations. For example, my Heavenly Support Team uses the scent of a skunk to indicate someone is on the defensive. When this occurs, I know how to handle the situation with great care as the person I am talking to may not be able to hear what needs to be said because they are too busy feeling as though they need to defend themselves or that they do not want to be negatively perceived for their decisions.
  • Cravings Out of the Blue – Have you ever had a sudden craving for your deceased mother’s apple pie, a craving so strong that you can taste it in your mouth? This is yet another way that spirit sends messages to us. The way they send this message is like the way they send messages that utilize our sense of smell. They alter the molecules in the air to send energy associated with certain tastes to the sensors in our mouths. This type of message is usually confused with physical cravings for certain foods. It is important when you experience a very strong craving to take a moment to think about whether this is a message being sent from spirit. Do you associate what you are craving with a particular loved one in Heaven? If so, acknowledge the loved one in spirit for their presence and the sign they sent. Know that they are there to support you in your endeavors and want you to know they are there for you.

Thank Them for the Signs

When you recognize the signs sent by your Heavenly Support Team, be sure to thank them for their efforts. They are always pleased when their transmissions are successful because it means that you are open and paying attention to their loving messages and guidance. You can also ask them for clarity and for more signs to reinforce the direction they would like you to go.

Intuition: Our Soul Information Retrieval System

Intuition is an inner knowingness originating within our souls. The knowledge we acquired in all our past lifetimes is stored within our souls. Every experience and every lesson we learned adds to our storehouses of information. This information can be called upon to help us in situations we face each day.

Soul Information Retrieval System

Our intuition, or the soul information retrieval system, sends us alerts through inner urgings about situations in order to direct us on paths that are best for us and all concerned. Coupled with this knowledge is the guidance we receive from the Other Side. Listening and paying attention, also known as being in tune with oneself, brings awareness of the messages from the soul and the Other Side. Our Heavenly Support Team, which includes God, loved ones in spirit, the angels, past spiritual masters, and more, provide us with daily guidance.

Pay Attention to Physical Reactions to Distinguish the Truth

Intuition helps us to distinguish the truth in situations. It is the inner voice that gives us the impression or feeling that a situation may not be right or may be out of sync. It can also confirm when a situation is perfect for us or a great match for our life paths. The gift of intuition is a psychic ability that is seated in the solar plexus chakra, the energy center located in the midsection of the body below the rib cage and three inches above the belly button.

When messages are being sent by our intuitive gifts, they are often accompanied by physical reactions. For example, you may experience a sinking feeling or the contraction of the stomach muscles upon receiving news. This “gut reaction” is an involuntary instinctual response triggered by the intuition to indicate a warning of possible danger to the self or others. It may also be accompanied by a quickening of the pulse and a quick surge of energy that starts in the stomach area and flows outward to all points on the body and dissipates. On the opposite end of the spectrum, when you receive positive news you may experience a sense of happiness, ease, and a temporary lightness accompanied by the relaxing of your muscles. This physical reaction signifies a release of tension associated with the circumstances. In addition, you may feel tingling or goose bumps on the back of your arm, traveling across your back, and finishing on the back of your other arm. This is what I refer to as a validation of information sent or received. It is a confirmation that the information being shared is the truth.

How Direct Guidance from Guides and Beings in Heaven Differs from Intuitive Messages

When guidance is being provided through the gift of intuition, there is a physical reaction accompanied by a feeling or inner knowingness about the information received. When beings in spirit provide guidance, it is received using one or all the earthly or extrasensory senses. For instance, through my gift of clairsentience or extrasensory feeling, I receive “yes” or “no” answers through tinging on my left or right hands on the tops of my fingers. I discovered this when I was going to make a phone call to a potential significant other. Every time I picked up the phone to call, the fingers on my right hand started to tingle strongly, much like the feeling of pins and needles, but in a specific location on the tops of my fingers. This happened every time I reached for the phone to call this person. I took that as a message not to call. I also asked my guys and gals in heaven for confirmation that it was them giving me the message, and the fingers on my left hand would tingle as an indication of “yes.” As it turns out, my guys and gals were right in preventing the call because that person was not the best match for me.

To Heed or Not to Heed

When it comes to listening to your intuition or messages from above, you have the free will to do whatever you wish; however, there is a note of caution for when you decide to ignore the messages you are receiving. Ignoring them usually results in less than desirable results. The help you are receiving from your intuition and your guys and gals in heaven, otherwise known as your Heavenly Support Team, is meant for your highest good, which you may not understand at the time. I know from experience that heeding messages usually ends up with better results for me, even if the direction I am being guided towards is not the path I personally thought was best at the time. We do not always know and see everything clearly, and it sure is wonderful to have our own internal soul information retrieval system, as well as a team of heavenly guides to help navigate us to safety in challenging situations. My advice is to listen well to the guidance. Our souls embedded with information from past lives and our current soul contract, and our guys and gals in heaven, know our true paths much better than we do because they have direct access to the maps of our life plans created in heaven before we were born.

Support We Receive from the Other Side

In this challenging world we live in, there may be times when we feel as though we do not have the support we need. It can be a lonely feeling which can feed on itself, making the situation seem worse. All of us have experienced the sting of betrayal or the pain of loss in relationships. This does not mean we are not supported or loved. We have an entire team of spiritual beings who help us every day with our lives. They are our Heavenly Support Teams, which includes God, the Archangels, past spiritual masters (e.g., Buddha, Mother Mary, etc.), spirit guides, Guardian Angels, and our loved ones in spirit. Whether we are aware of or recognizing their presence, they are there for us and will continue to be throughout our lives.

Our Loved Ones in Spirit

When our loved ones in spirit cross over into Heaven, they are still connected to us through the hearts of our spirits. They love to send us signs to let us know they are still in existence, still connected with us, and that they still love and support us. Our loved ones in spirit can and do help us with our lives when they can. They do it with the approval of God and the Archangels because their actions and divine intervention cannot interrupt or disrupt the lessons we need to complete for our souls in this lifetime. Often, loved ones in spirit volunteer to become Guardian Angels for us and our families.

The Role of Guardian Angels

When we are born, we are assigned guardian angels who watch over our lives. Their assistance can come at the time of our most dire need, such as in a car accident in which they protect us from physical harm or in more minor moments when they prevent us from making mistakes that could bring us more harm than good. Often, our loved ones in spirit volunteer to become Guardian Angels who join with those already assigned to us. To do this, they need to learn everything about us, even the events they were not privy to in life. They do this not to be nosy, but because they need to understand what motivates our actions and reactions. Our free will decisions govern our lives. In moments of need, they need to anticipate how we may react to help us in the best way possible. Again, their divine intervention can only be applied when it does not interfere with life lessons.

Spirit Guides Help in the Background

Our spirit guides, who are also assigned to us at birth, may or may not make their presence known to us. We have at least one who is there to spiritually guide us through our lives. They usually remain in the background. Their jobs are to positively influence or guide us in spiritual matters of the soul. Spirit guides play a role with the intuitive impressions we receive as they help send signals from our souls which alert us to positive and negative situations that we need to be aware of.

Past Spiritual Masters We are Drawn Towards

Throughout the world, there are many spiritual and religious practices which highlight the lives of people who had a strong spiritual influence while living or after they died. These special beings, who have since crossed over into Heaven, often act as guides, helpers, or saviors to those on Earth. For example, in the Catholic religion, there are saints who are credited with living a spiritual life and for providing miracles after they have passed. They are an example of past spiritual masters. Spiritual and religious teachings and experiences you have been drawn toward may also help draw you toward specific past spiritual masters. They are there to help you, regardless of your spiritual or religious beliefs. You can call on past spiritual masters for assistance as you would with God or the Archangels as they all work together. You may have a special prayer or mantra you like to use to call on their assistance; however, it is not necessary as they understand your requests and gratitude when expressed from the heart and soul using your thoughts.

Archangels Tasked with Helping Humankind

The Archangels have been tasked with helping humankind with their lifetimes. They are the keepers of our soul contracts which define which lessons we need to learn for our souls in each lifetime we experience. The Archangels are responsible for the orchestration of events which help us fulfill the lessons we agreed to in our soul contracts for this lifetime. They are capable of being in multiple places at once and employ the assistance of other orders of angels to help us with our lives. To ask them for their assistance, there is no need for special prayers or mantras. Using your thoughts, talk to them and ask for assistance. Treat them as you would a best friend and be sure to thank them for their help. The Archangels are there for everyone, regardless of spiritual or religious beliefs. If you do not know who they are, it helps to learn more about them as their influence and assistance in our lives is powerful. As a note, if you are seeing repeated signs or references to a particular Archangel (or past spiritual master), it is their way of letting you know they are around you and want you to get to know them.

God’s Presence

God, who oversees all of existence, is also there for us. God is not some far away, untouchable being who dispenses out rewards and punishments. God is our best friend. God understands the troubles we go through and is there for us through it all, even if it does not always feel that way. If God intervened every time we experienced challenges, we would never grow as souls. What we learn through the lessons we agreed to in this lifetime is one of our reasons for being here. Falling down and getting back up is part of that, as is experiencing love in all its forms and triumphs. Talk to God as you would a best friend. There is more understanding that comes from God than you may realize. This lifetime is not about punishments or testing. It is about learning lessons for our souls, which means experiencing the positive and negative. The challenges push us to grow at a more accelerated rate. We can allow those situations to bring us down or we take the best from them and move forward. The choices are ours as free will is a divine gift given to us to navigate our way through life and beyond.

So Many Helpers from the Other Side

We are not alone on our journeys through life. We have so many helpers from the Other Side who assist us. They help orchestrate events, provide support when we need it, and provide proof that there is more to life than what appears to be. They help us with the lessons we agreed to for the growth of our souls, which means we have challenges to help get us there, as well as triumphs. Our free will decisions govern the paths we take; however, we do not walk that path alone. We have those we love here on Earth, as well as in Heaven, to be our companions and guides.
