How Spirit Communicates with Mediums

Many people that I meet have questions about how I communicate with Spirit. Some of them are under the impression that it is just like a conversation or a video that tells me everything in a straightforward manner. This is not the case. Even though portions of the communication do come across that way, most of it is much more complex than that.

Spirit communicates with me through a series of images, feelings, physical indicators, thoughts, tastes, smells, outward signs, etc. I explain to the recipients of my Spirit Medium readings that the information that I receive is like an abstract puzzle that needs to be pieced together. The following is a very brief synopsis of how it all works for me.

The process of giving a reading involves a fascinating, high-speed blend of information that needs to be quickly recognized, decoded, and interpreted. To begin the process, I concentrate on opening up my mind, heart, body, spirit, and aura to the Light. This serves to heighten my receptivity to Spirit communication through the super activation of all of my senses and raises my energy level up to meet that of Spirit. The connection is then made with Spirit through the supreme source of love that flows throughout all beings.

As I flow through the reading, I focus on the task of accurately receiving, interpreting, and sharing the information transferred to me from Spirit. First and foremost, I need to determine who is coming through, their relationship to you, as well as the specific messages that Spirit wants to share with you. The ultimate purpose of Spirit coming through for you is to provide healing for you, whether that is in the form of reassurance that they are in Heaven or guidance about your life, etc.

Spirit uses symbols, imagery, sounds, etc. from my knowledge and memory bank (aka. “databank”). Since my databank of experiences is unique to me, symbols, etc. that come through for me may have an entirely different meaning for another Medium. With each Medium, Spirit knows what information to use within our unique databanks to get their information through.

It always amazes me how creative Spirit is when communicating with me. They often overlap symbols, thoughts, feelings, physical indicators, etc. to express their messages. Sometimes people expect Spirit to tell them extremely specific information such as a title to a song, but if that is a song that I have never heard, it may be very complicated and challenging for Spirit to send that information, as well as for me to receive and interpret it.

All in all, Spirit communication is a wonderful, yet complex process that requires a tremendous amount of energy to complete. I hope that this information helps you to better understand the process and to appreciate the effort it takes from both Spirit and Mediums to get those incredible, blessed messages through to you.

Pets Go to Heaven, Too!

Take comfort in knowing that your pets go to Heaven. They will be there to greet you when it is your time to cross over. You’ll see them as they were at their best—youthful, healthy, and happy. I feel personal joy in knowing that I will have an entire menagerie to greet me when I reach the pearly gates, as I have been blessed with many wonderful animal companions in my life.

Animals enjoy the same delights of Heaven as people. They can run and play and be young again. Any pain or diseases that they suffered from in life are gone. My spirit guides and deceased loved ones have shown me that they are taking care of my pets while they await my ascension to Heaven. Your deceased loved ones do the same for your pets, keeping them company and sharing their love.

When I am giving a Spirit Reading, it is such a delight when pets come through for clients. Their love and joy is wonderful to experience. Pets are so excited to share their love for you. When they enter a reading, I usually feel their presence and shape next to me. At the same time, I may be receiving an image of what they looked like while on Earth. They send me love and feelings to share with you in the same way that Spirit shares them with me through impressions of emotions, thoughts, and visions. As with people who have crossed over, it is an incredible blessing to be able to pass along the messages that your pets have for you.

Although we often feel sadness when a person or pet’s life ends here on earth, we can take comfort in knowing that they are going to a happy place—that their spirits, as well as ours, live on beyond life on earth to enjoy the bounty and grace of Heaven. A just reward for living our lives to the best of our abilities, learning and growing from both the delightful and challenging experiences.

Be Your Own Sweetheart This Valentine’s Day

Love. It is such a wonderful and powerful energy. It is what many of us search for while on our life’s journey. We look for love and acceptance from our friends, partners, family, etc. How often, though, do we look for that love within ourselves?

It is important to love who you are and to accept yourself as you are…to know that you are a divine being that is here to grow as a soul and that you are worthy of love and positive experiences. You can begin this process by doing the following:

Be kind to yourself.
Forgive yourself for the mistakes that you have made and learn from them so that you don’t repeat them.
Appreciate the unique gifts and talents that you were born with, develop your skills and share them with the world.
Do what brings you the greatest joy.
Release negative thoughts, fears and worries about yourself and others.
Truly see and feel the light and beauty that shines within you.

Know that love attracts love. When you love and appreciate yourself, it shows. Your eyes shine with the joy of loving your life and who you are. You send the message to the world that you are worthy of love, that you are ready to give and receive the love that flows through your heart and others.

This Valentines Day, and every day, know that you already have a sweetheart and someone that loves you…you.

Forgiving Means Moving Forward

In my last post, I talked about “living in the present” by letting go of regrets, worries and fears. I’d like to take that a step further by explaining how extending forgiveness toward the people who have caused you pain can help you to release the past and move forward. It is important to point out that forgiving someone for past behavior does not, by any means, say that you condone their behavior; rather, it frees you up from a negative cycle that can be detrimental to your growth and evolvement as a soul.

When we hold grudges against someone, we are the ones carrying around the negativity which we wear like a heavy, black cloak. This cloak is what trips us up in life as it weighs us down, trapping us in its gloom. Its darkness keeps us wrapped in a victim mentality which can draw even more negativity toward us.

Forgiveness means recognizing that the person who committed the injustice was misguided in their actions towards you. Somewhere along the line, they received faulty information or no guidance at all as to how to behave with compassion toward another soul. As souls traveling onwards on our own unique journeys, we need to recognize that not everyone is on the same level of evolvement. That does not mean that one soul is better than another, it just means that we all have lessons to learn in life and the person who hurt you has yet to learn the particular lesson that led them to hurt you. Keep in mind that you, too, have lessons yet to learn and will make mistakes along the way that may cause someone else pain. When you recognize your own mistakes, it is important to learn from those mistakes and extend forgiveness toward yourself. If possible, apologize to the person or people you have hurt and do your best not to repeat the same mistake.

To truly forgive another, acknowledge the pain and let it go. Know that you cannot control the actions of others. You can only control yourself and how you react or respond to the events that occur in your life. You do not have to see the person face-to-face to forgive, nor do you need to re-enter a toxic relationship or put yourself in a negative situation in order to extend forgiveness. You can say it out loud to the universe or in your own mind. Surround the situation with love and light and visualize it as healed. Whenever you find the heavy, black cloak of negativity trying to slip itself back upon your shoulders, remind yourself that you have already forgiven the past and let it go. If you feel that you need help forgiving others, ask the Angels and Spirit Guides that protect you to lend you their strength and support as you take these positive steps in your life. They are there for you if you need them—all you have to do is ask.

Our Thoughts Determine Our Destinies

We have all heard about the power of positive thinking and how our thoughts determine our destiny; however, how many of us truly believe that and actually live that?

There are some wonderful dreams that I would like to see manifested in my life, as I am sure you have in yours. I have made a definitive decision to actively send out positive thoughts toward my true heart’s desires and have asked the Angels to help me to achieve them. I let go of trying to make these dreams manifest on my own because I know my vision here on Earth is limited. The Angels see more than we do and can help guide us on the right path. I know that I must open myself up to the guidance that they give me and to always keep my thoughts positive about my dreams. I do this by infusing a bright light around my dreams and visualizing them in their wholeness as already completed.

The message that the Angels want me to share with you is to open your mind and imagination. Visualize your deepest desires and dreams coming true. See yourself basking in the happiness that is truly yours to live. Your dreams are meant to come true, regardless of the circumstances around us. If we can dream it, we can live it. All we have to do is truly believe with all of our hearts that we not only deserve this happiness, but also can experience the materialization of our dreams in our lifetimes here on Earth, not just in Heaven.

Keep in mind that the way our dreams will manifest may involve circumstances that appear negative on the surface. Let go of momentary disappointment in the small twists and turns that our lives take as these seemingly negative circumstances or events may be necessary to clear out obstacles that were impeding our progress. Be open to change, take it all in stride, and take time each day to acknowledge with gratitude the positive events and circumstances in your life every day. Keep visualizing your actualized dream. The Angels, who assist the Creator in manifesting our happiness, will help you. All you have to do is ask for their help and truly believe that they are assisting you.
