Do Animals Reincarnate?

In order to grow and evolve as souls, we opt to leave Heaven for lifetimes on Earth or other locations within the universe. The forms we take and the ways we look may change; however, our personalities remain the same. We travel together with our main soul groups, which are comprised of our closest friends and family members, including pets, to help each other with lessons and to provide support and love. As human beings, we usually wait for our loved ones on Earth to reunite with us in Heaven prior to reincarnating. The same is usually true for our pets; however, there are unique instances in which a pet can reincarnate more than once in our lifetimes.

An Important Part of Our Spiritual Families

Our pets are an important part of our spiritual family. They, too, reincarnate with us to provide companionship, love, and lessons for our souls. Their short lifespans on this planet provide them with the time and opportunities to be reunited with us more than once in our lifetimes. For this to happen, though, there must be a very strong bond between souls, as well as special reasons for the reincarnation of a beloved pet within our lifetimes.

Life Purposes for Animals

Animals have special purposes on Earth. Beyond the beauty of nature and how they support the Earth with their presence and activities, they are tasked with helping to teach us about unconditional love. They also teach us important lessons about grieving and death when they leave this world. They are unique souls who, at times, save lives and bring the healing our souls need. To me, these souls with special tasks present themselves as little angels on Earth who help us through the difficult times and were sent to us to intervene during times of great importance. Through meditations, I have been given insight into different forms these souls have taken in previous existences, including human forms. It is entirely possible for a soul to opt to take the form of a beloved pet in order to spend time with a soul on Earth and to help them, but not to live an entire human lifetime with them.

Deeper Spiritual Meanings

Beyond their supportive presence, there are spiritual meanings behind both wild and domesticated animals in our lives which provide messages and guidance from our Heavenly Support Team of God, the angels, past spiritual masters, spirit guides, and loved ones in spirit. Often, loved ones in spirit and the angels use the animals to send us messages. If you are repeatedly seeing a particular animal or if one makes its presence known to you in an unusual way, I recommend looking up the spiritual meaning of the animal, which is based upon its habitat, behaviors, and personality traits. For instance, the robin is often a sign of spring which points to new beginnings and growth.

When Pets Reincarnate

When a beloved pet reincarnates for another lifetime with us on Earth, their personality traits and behaviors are very similar to the way they were in their most previous lifetime; however, they are not an exact replica of personality traits and behaviors because as souls, they have evolved and grown. This is the same with all souls. Our experiences throughout our lifetimes and in Heaven expand our knowledge and provide deeper understanding about our existence.

Recently, I adopted a kitten named Panther from a local rescue. His personality traits and behaviors are strikingly similar to my cat, Shadow, who passed away in 2015. Panther came into my life at a time when I was not looking to adopt; however, I kept receiving very strong and repeated signs that he was the one for me. Having learned to listen to these promptings from my Heavenly Support Team, I made the decision to adopt him and welcome him into my home. When I first met him at the rescue, he was skittish and did not like to be held for long. Having rescued formerly feral cats in the past, I was used to this behavior and knew he just needed a little loving care and patience to help him be more comfortable with human interaction. Once I got him home, I kept him in a separate room to help him acclimate to his new surroundings and to give my other cats a chance to get used to his presence and scent in my home. After getting approval from my veterinarian, I gradually introduced him to my other cats. In what I consider to be a very short time, he was welcomed by them into the family. It was the quickest acceptance I have ever witnessed when integrating cats with one another. Not only that, Panther overcame his skittishness and is a very loving and sociable kitten who loves to be around people and loves to snuggle.

From the start, I kept getting the impression that Panther may be Shadow reincarnated. His mannerisms and behaviors are incredibly similar to Shadow’s. He even follows me wherever I go. When I asked my Heavenly Support Team if Panther was Shadow, the answer was yes. They also provided the insights about how Panther’s knowledge of his previous life was veiled from him in order to provide a new experience for his soul. My other cats in the home knew and loved Shadow. As with humans, they experienced the instant bond that comes with meeting a soul they have known previously, which is why the integration into the family was the smoothest I had ever witnessed. Even the name “Panther,” which he came with, was no coincidence as I used to refer to Shadow as my little panther.

When Shadow was living with me before, our bond was very strong from the start as I rescued him when he was two weeks old. As I nurtured him through those early weeks and throughout his life, he truly became my shadow as he followed me everywhere. I had always felt we had been together in past lives. Later in his life Shadow literally saved my life, for which I am eternally grateful. Part of his purpose was to be there for me when I needed him most, like an angel on earth. When he crossed over into Heaven, I grieved the loss of his physical presence here on Earth. It was time for my friend and angel to return to Heaven.

One last aspect I find absolutely intriguing is the small brown patch of fur on Panther’s front right shoulder which is the exact shape of a patch of lighter hair Shadow had on his front left shoulder due to a tumor that was removed. It is a perfect mirroring of a very unusual and specific marking on two very remarkable black cats.

The Many Lifetimes We Live Together

Both people and animals reincarnate for many lifetimes. We are all souls working our way through lessons together and we all serve a purpose in the bigger picture. The love we share bonds our souls in amazing ways and can even result in many loving lifetimes together.

Reincarnation: The Many Lives We Live

Reincarnation of our souls is the concept of the soul experiencing many lifetimes in different forms or physical housings. Our souls are made up of energy which take many forms throughout our existence. Heaven is where our souls are born, created directly through love from the omnipotent soul of God. It is here where we create plans for our spiritual journeys in the form of soul contracts for specific lifetimes. The soul contracts contain a plan in outline form for the lessons we will learn in the upcoming lifetime of our choosing. During the creation of these plans, we work with the members of our soul groups to integrate our plans in order to help one another learn the lessons agreed to in the contracts. It is important to note that the ways the lessons will unfold on Earth are not determined until we arrive here. Events are orchestrated in real time based on the lessons we agreed to prior to birth, as well as the freewill decisions we make and the resulting effects. It is an incredibly precise and complex process which is in place for every living being on Earth and for which there are innumerable outcomes.

There are many locations we can visit throughout the universe for different purposes and lifetimes. Earth is just one of the locations we can visit for a lifetime of lessons. Once we have completed our soul contracts, we return to Heaven, which is the hub from which we were created and to which we return after every journey. Our main soul groups, which include our immediate family and friends, regroup in Heaven. After a period of rest and relaxation, we determine where our next journeys will take place which will best suit our needs for the evolution of our souls. For the purpose of this article, I will focus on our experiences as human beings on a spiritual journey on Earth.

Why Leave Heaven for a Lifetime on Earth

 In Heaven, the experience for our souls is different. We learn lessons there, but not at the same pace as we do on Earth. Here, we have the gift of the human ego which propels learning through negativity. It acts as a challenge to humankind to learn how to manage this mechanism in our minds which is the source of our fears, regrets, anxieties, and doubts.

When we are born on earth, information about the soul contract we agreed to in this lifetime is veiled from us in order to provide the opportunity to learn without bias. The information, also known as our Akashic Records, is stored in our souls, as well as in the Hall of Records in Heaven. Portions of the records can be accessed through spiritual means, such as past life regressions, meditations, and more. The records contain all our individual soul contracts and experiences for all our lifetimes in the past and the current lifetime, as well as information in outline form about potential lessons for future lifetimes.

A Lifetime on Earth is the Accelerated Course for Soul Evolution

Our journey through a lifetime on Earth is what I refer to as the accelerated course for soul evolution. The experiences we have here are designed to maximize our learning opportunities through situations which challenge all our knowledge and beliefs about ourselves, our world, our existence, each other, the universe, God, Heaven, and more. It is a journey of rediscovery about the information contained within our souls which contains all the answers we seek. It takes hundreds, if not thousands, of lifetimes to grow as a soul.

Younger Souls and Older Souls

Younger souls have the tendency to operate more from a place of fear because they have not learned how to manage the human ego and do not yet realize that love is the reason for our existence. Lower level energies, such as selfishness and greed, tend to occupy the thought processes of younger souls, which leads them to take actions that are harmful to themselves and others. In contrast, older souls operate more from a place of love and often put others before themselves. Some of their lessons include learning how to establish a balance of giving and receiving. When on a truly accelerated path, older souls tend to go through very difficult and challenging experiences early in life in order to get them up to speed with what they need to accomplish later in life.

On Earth, our experiences are intertwined. Older souls help younger souls with life lessons and younger souls help older souls with life lessons. Each of us helps one another through our journeys through the cause and effect of our actions and the circumstances we are presented with. The decisions we make determine whether we learn the lessons we are meant to learn. If a lesson has not been completed, it will return with a different set of circumstances until we have gained the necessary knowledge for our souls.

Because we are on different levels of soul evolution, it means that not everyone will understand or grasp the concepts about our existence in this lifetime. This does not mean older souls are better than younger souls, as all souls have their individual purposes. As we grow from a child to an adult in life, we attend school to learn. The same process happens with our souls through many lifetimes. Each lesson we learn helps us move forward with the evolution of our souls and the time when our souls will be reintegrated with God.

Evidence of Past Lives

Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, the great composer, was a child prodigy who could replay a song after hearing it once and who composed complex music scores at a very young age. When a soul exhibits the ability to complete intricate new tasks with great ease, it is a sign the soul lived many lifetimes and has performed similar tasks in those other lifetimes with great skill. These residual experiences are stored within the memory of the soul and can also be triggered by similar circumstances in our current lifetime. The information is not limited to skill sets. It also contains experiences that deeply affected the soul, enough to cause a carryover into this lifetime. For instance, an unexplained fear of fire or water in which the soul has not had an experience in this lifetime to cause it may be able to be traced back to experiences in past lifetimes. In some instances, it is a foreshadowing of events to come.

Have you ever experienced an instant connection with someone upon your first meeting with them? This may be because of a connection in a past lifetime or in Heaven. Are you drawn to specific cultures, music, activities, locations, and events from history? One or more of your past lifetimes may have included experiences from these times. Have you ever been somewhere and felt you had been there before, even though it is your first visit? Again, this may be a reference to a previous lifetime in which you spent time in this location.

There are fascinating stories about toddlers talking about people and places in history for which they would have no previous knowledge. They do it with such detail that it cannot be confused with anything other than a past life experience. Other toddlers and very young children refer to how they met or knew their deceased grandmother or grandfather in Heaven. These memories of the soul are strong for the young children because they have just come from Heaven. Unfortunately, by the age of five, most of these old memories have faded as new memories begin filling the mind with current life experiences.

Past Life Regressions

There are many ways to delve into our souls to rediscover past life experiences. One of the ways to do this is to perform or experience a past life regression. This practice is usually performed by a medium trained to use their gifts to receive information about past lives. You can also use your own meditation time as an opportunity to ask to have past life information revealed. Ask your spirit guides for assistance with the process and remain open and objective to everything you see, feel, hear, taste, and smell during your meditation. The information will provide clues and glimpses into some of your past lives, as well as your connections with your immediate soul groups. Within meditation journeys, you may discover the different roles and genders you experienced which provided elements of knowledge that deepen your appreciation for people from all walks of life.

Soul Connections

Throughout our existences as souls, we are connected to one another through the love within the hearts of our spirits. The experiences we share create a powerful bond which stays with us through this lifetime and beyond. For now, make the most of the time you have on Earth and look toward situations you encounter as opportunities to learn and grow as a soul. Appreciate those around you as you are all on this journey together, helping one another to evolve on a spiritual level.

Defining Your Life Purpose

For some, the recognition of a life purpose comes as a calling or a moment of complete understanding of what your mission is in this lifetime. It is a very strong inner-knowing of your purpose that cannot be denied. For me, it was an amazing moment in which I finally understood what my calling was in life. The events leading up to this moment were carefully orchestrated by my guys and gals in heaven, also known as my heavenly support team. As the realization hit me that I was a spirit medium, I experienced a vision in which every experience in my life lit up like a star in a sapphire blue sky. The stars lit up one by one in a spiral curving inward which was signifying my earthly journey from one level to the next. The center star shined the brightest and magnified in intensity as I looked at it. I knew in my soul that the center star represented that exact moment in time in which I finally realized I was a spirit medium. I knew it was my calling to help people through the wondrous gifts I had been given. It truly was one of the most profound moments of my life.

Listening to the Call of Your Spirit
Not all people experience that extraordinary moment of profound recognition about his or her life purpose. Sometimes, the call is more subtle and may come to you through repeated thoughts or messages. For instance, you may feel strong urges to create artwork. At the same time, you may also experience repeated outward signs that crop up and attempt to point you in the direction of your life purpose. Friends or strangers may suddenly show their appreciation for your artwork and tell you about upcoming art exhibitions. You may also see job listings for artists pop up on your social media newsfeeds or sale advertisements for the materials you use to create your artwork.

Unique Paths
Each person’s purpose for existing on this planet is unique to each individual, and yet, we are all entwined with one another through a complex web of cause and effect that is carefully planned out prior to our birth on earth. While in heaven, we agree to participate in and experience certain events in our lifetimes that not only advance the growth of our own souls, but also help others with their life lessons. Please note, though, that each second of our lives is not mapped out. It is more like a “choose your own adventure” book in which you choose an action from a list of potential actions, and you see where it takes you. There is no wrong path to take, because all paths lead you to the same place. Even when it seems like we are making mistakes, we are not. The seeming mistakes are pathways to learning that help us to avoid similar pitfalls in the future, and they lead us on detours that add value to our journey.

Know Thyself
Your life purpose may or may not involve positively impacting humankind for decades to come. You may be playing a supporting role to others, or you may be destined to contribute in both small and large ways. For example, one person may be destined to become a music legend who inspires people through the songs and compositions he or she creates, while another may be destined to work from home caring for and nurturing their children. The roles that each of us play in our lifetimes not only affect the people who are immediately around us, but also many others in current and future generations.

With the music legend, it is easy to see how that person is positively influencing others outside of their immediate circle of friends and family. With the stay at home dad or mom, the scope of his or her reach may not be revealed in this lifetime, but possibly in the next as the child or children that he or she raises may be destined to become a leader who positively impacts the world. Either way, we all have important jobs to do. Determining what that job is requires an excellent relationship with yourself, including an acknowledged awareness of your likes, dislikes, and talents, as well as a willingness to love who you are. Pay close attention to the messages you receive from within, as well as the confirmation you receive from without, regarding your life purpose.

Signs Point the Way
Throughout your life, you have been given many signs and messages about your life purpose. Do not worry, though, if you have not decoded or defined them yet. Your journey is unique to you, and it is a journey to be enjoyed. You really are in the perfect place for you at this moment in time. Attempting to measure the success of your journey by comparing yourself to others is an unfortunate waste of time, because no two people walk the same exact path. Instead, concentrate on finding the joy in your own journey and allow yourself to be open to the signs that are pointing you to paths that will bring you the most happiness and success.

Questions to Ask Yourself
To help determine your life path, I have compiled some questions designed to help you recognize the patterns that have been occurring in your own life.

When you were growing up, what did you always dream of doing or becoming?
Whether you dreamed of being a firefighter, ballerina, actress, pilot, baker, cook, scientist, doctor, or fashion designer, there are clues hidden within these occupations and childhood dreams that will help you uncover your life purpose. For instance, when I was twelve, I really wanted to become a psychologist. The desire behind that dream was to help people work through emotional issues in order to bring them healing. As it turns out, I share the gift of healing every day through my work as a spirit medium by helping people with deep issues that touch their hearts and souls.

Have you had strong and repeated visions about performing your vocation? Did you at any time attempt to follow your dreams? If so, what actions did you take?
Growing up, I also dreamt of being on stage in front of large groups of people. I participated in school plays, musicals, and community theatre, and as an adult, I gave hundreds of presentations and worked as a professional actress. All of my experiences on stage, in front of the camera, and on the radio have enabled me to be very comfortable speaking in front of large groups of people and on film. Today, I work on stage providing large group readings and motivational presentations, I am on the radio, and I create videos. The dreams I had, and the actions I took, help me with the work I currently perform. As a young girl, did I think I would be working as a spirit medium on stage? No, I did not. I did, however, end up on stage in front of large groups of people.

What activities bring you the most joy?
Pay attention to the activities you like to perform. For example, do you enjoy gardening, caring for babies or animals, problem-solving, cooking, helping others to succeed, driving, or designing your own jewelry? Have you ever wondered why you like certain activities over others? Natural talents and skills have been gifted to you for good reasons. Are there ways that you can use your skills to develop a successful occupation? Have you already done that?

For as long as I can remember, I loved reading and learning about ghosts, the paranormal, tarot, intuition, life after death, nature, mediumship, animals, crystals, and just about anything positive in the New Age genre. Prior to re-awakening to my gifts, I did not realize that my fascination with these topics were pointing me in the direction of my true vocation. Even as I read about spirit mediums, I would think about how much I would love to be able to be one. I find it interesting that I had not come across a book that would have given me the last piece of the puzzle I needed to realize that I already was a spirit medium. It was because the time was not right for me to become fully aware my gifts. My guys and gals in heaven knew when I needed to reawaken, and I believe that is why my calling came at the perfect time. They needed me to fulfill other tasks in order to be fully prepared to step into my gifts.

Life Purpose Revealed
Try not to worry or stress about determining your life purpose. Mine was revealed to me later in life, and as I look back, I can see that my calling arrived with impeccable timing. Yours will, too. Each person’s experience with the discovery of his or her life purpose is different. It may come as an epiphany, or as an inner-knowing that you feel when you are performing actions that are in harmony with your life plan. It is important to note that I was in my thirties when I experienced my epiphany, and I was not actively trying to determine my life purpose. Prior to that, I explored several career paths and job opportunities. Even though they were not the ultimate assignments of my calling, my experiences served very important purposes for the work that I currently perform.

When the time is right for you, your life purpose will be revealed. In the meantime, do what you love and love what you do. Focus on the activities that bring you the most joy, and listen to the positive inner-promptings that you receive. Place your trust in your higher self and your heavenly support team as you are actively guided on your path. Pay attention to the signs, repeated messages, and validations you receive about being on the right path…because you are on the best path for you. Even if you are unsure of your ultimate destination, your life purpose will be revealed with impeccable divine timing.

If Heaven Exists, Is There a Hell?

As a spirit medium, I receive insights and information about the universe, Heaven, the experiences of souls who cross over to the Other Side, and much more. A great deal of this information comes through communications with loved ones in spirit and the angels, as well as through visions, epiphanies, theophanies (experiences with God), and meditations. My natural curiosity about these topics, as well as my desire to assist those on Earth to better understand the reasons for our existence and what exists beyond life on Earth, prompts me to seek answers to our biggest questions. When receiving the answers, they are provided to me in ways we can comprehend as human beings. Our knowledge of what exists beyond life on Earth is somewhat veiled in order to provide the necessary conditions for learning lessons for our souls. What truly exists is much more magnificent and complex than most of us can conceive through our limited experiences as human beings on a spiritual journey.

Gathering Information Using Gifts of Mediumship

One of the questions I am often asked is whether Hell exists. I have seen and experienced many aspects of Heaven; however, I have, to this date, never seen or experienced anything close to the concept of Hell as provided by various religious texts. This holds true even for people who have committed grievous crimes, including murder.

To supplement the information I received through meditation journeys, visions, and communications with the Other Side about the concept of Hell, I visited Eastern State Penitentiary in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, to communicate spirit-to-spirit with deceased men who spent time on Death Row. According to its website, it was operational from April 1829 through January 1970 and housed thousands of criminals over the years, some of them notorious.

Upon asking them to reveal to me what their experience was when crossing over, they gave me the immediate impression of darkness and great confusion. Strong feelings of angst flooded their souls as they did not know what was happening or where they were. The impression I received was that these souls were stuck in purgatory, which is the temporary state of no longer existing on Earth while also not being in Heaven. Purgatory is sometimes mistakenly referred to as Hell. This may be because of the feeling of being lost which accompanies the experience, and for those who committed grievous crimes, there is an added element of torment and anguish as their mind convinces them they went to Hell. This experience can be very negative as images of the crimes they committed repeatedly play in their mind.

Others who do not cross over right away, such as those who take their own lives or who passed suddenly and are experiencing confusion about the need to cross over, have a different set of circumstances. For those who committed suicide, they need help believing they belong in Heaven. For those who crossed over very suddenly, if they do not cross over right away, I have been shown that they can become confused and may turn away from the gateway to Heaven because they feel as though they have unfinished business on Earth. These souls temporarily wander the Earth in spirit looking for assistance. It can be a very surreal experience in which they can see others on Earth, but those on Earth, other than spirit mediums, cannot see them. Ultimately, every soul receives assistance with their crossing from a spiritual being, such as the angels, or from spirit mediums who recognize their needs and call in the angels to help them cross.

What Happens to Souls Who Harm Others on Earth

Usually, when the soul is released from the physical body through death, the soul transitions to Heaven with the help of a small delegation of loved ones in spirit or the angels to help guide them to the Other Side. For those who are temporarily stuck in purgatory due to crimes they committed, there is the presence of a spiritual being who does not step forward, but rather waits patiently, without judgment, to be noticed.

Once acknowledged, the spiritual being seeks to educate the soul in the necessity of crossing over. The temporarily lost soul needs to believe they belong in Heaven in order to transition there. The amount of time it takes for the soul to believe this varies. The impressions I received from souls who existed in this surreal state included images and experiences of their crimes playing out repeatedly in their mind because of their lack of belief in their worthiness. When they are finally convinced of the need to cross over in order to receive healing and to learn from the mistakes they made while on Earth, they transition to a room, much like an interrogation room, in which they begin the review of their life. It is an objective review in which they are immersed in various scenes to discuss what took place, how it affected others and themselves, and what they could have done differently with the lessons they were to learn on Earth.

In contrast, those who were stuck in purgatory because they were confused during their sudden passing are welcomed into Heaven by their loved ones who are already there in spirit. There is a celebration in their honor in which they are reunited with all their loved ones in Heaven, including animals. For those who took their own lives, there is no celebration. These souls are in dire need of healing and are directed to the spiritual hospital to receive the help they need. Loved ones already in Heaven can visit; however, the concentration is on healing from the issues that led them to take their own lives, as well as the act of ending their lives too soon. From what has been shared with me, they spend approximately two weeks to six months Earth time in the spiritual hospital.

Levels of Heaven

Once the life review is over for the souls who brought great harm to others in life, there is no gala celebration. They are in need of healing and knowledge to help them evolve. They are assigned to what I refer to as the lower levels of Heaven, in which they dedicate their time to learning how to be a better soul and to gain understanding about the love from which we were all created.

The souls who commit grievous crimes are often young souls who have not experienced many lifetimes. They operate from a place of fear rather than love and need to reincarnate many times in order to help their souls evolve to a higher place. In contrast, older souls understand the need for compassion, empathy, and love, as well as the concept that we are here to help one another on our journeys. All of us were younger souls at some point, and when we experience life on Earth, God uses this great mixture of soul evolvement to help us help each other with the lessons destined for this lifetime.

As a soul learns lessons throughout its lifetimes, it has opportunities to progress through the levels of Heaven. Souls on the higher levels of Heaven can visit those on the lower levels; however, those on the lower levels do not have permission to visit the higher levels until they have reached the stages of their evolution which permits them to move about with more freedom. As souls progress, they are granted increasing abilities to collaborate with others in Heaven to create collective positive experiences, such as recreations of favorite times and places on Earth. Additionally, souls gain the abilities to transform their personal appearances, and most chose to look like a young version of themselves, and to create their unique space in Heaven, such as a beautiful seaside cottage or elaborate cabin in the mountains, in which loved ones in spirit, including pets, can visit and share.

The Number of Levels in Heaven

When asking about the number of levels in Heaven, the answer I receive is twelve. When we achieve the highest level, we can remain in existence as an angel helping other souls, or we can choose to be fully reintegrated into the highest energy form, which I refer to as God or the God Force. From there, new souls are created, and the process begins anew. This is not to be mistaken for reincarnation. Reincarnation is the same soul living many lifetimes. The reintegration into the God Force is the completion of the soul’s existence after it has reached the highest pinnacle of soul growth.

How Long Does It Take to Fully Evolve as a Soul?

There is no set time frame for the evolution of a soul. Whether young, old, or somewhere in between, each soul progresses at its own pace with its own lessons and purposes for each lifetime. Lessons can be learned while in Heaven; however, when we decide to be reborn on Earth, it is to accelerate the growth of our souls through more challenging experiences. The negativity which exists on Earth does not exist in Heaven. We can stay in Heaven for certain lessons; however, in order to experience the greater challenges, we need to reincarnate for lessons on Earth.

Concept of Hell

As for the concept of the fiery Hell proclaimed in various religious texts, the creation of this type of vision may have been conceptualized as a way of getting society to behave in a certain manner through fear tactics. It may also come from impressions by ancient seers and mediums, many of which are past spiritual masters, about souls temporarily lost in purgatory. As I mentioned, the souls who committed grievous crimes gave me the impressions of the misery they endured while stuck in purgatory. What was not understood or shared in the religious texts was the continuation of the souls’ journeys to Heaven once they believed they belonged.

Every soul is given the opportunity to learn and grow, even those who have done great harm while on Earth. During their life reviews, they experience the consequences of their actions in order to learn how to improve and evolve. If the lessons are not learned or cannot be completed during their stay in the lower levels of Heaven, then they are incorporated into their soul contracts for their next lifetime.

Each of us was created with loving care and are provided with opportunities to better ourselves and evolve as souls. Just as children on Earth grow and learn, our souls do so on a much grander scale. If a child makes a mistake, even a big one, there are consequences which are dealt with, but also the opportunity to learn from that mistake. It is the same with our souls. Instead of being sent to the fiery pits of Hell as described in religious texts, we are sent instead to the appropriate level of Heaven to learn from those mistakes in order to become a better soul.

Not Seeing Signs from Your Loved Ones in Spirit? Here Are Reasons Why This Occurs

When a loved one crosses over into Heaven, they often send signs to let their loved ones on earth know they are in existence in spirit and still connected with them, as well as to share their love and let them know they are doing well in Heaven. Often, these signs can be very strong soon after their crossing. This is because they are still vested in the people they love on earth and want to bring them assurance and comfort during their time of grief. The signs must be very strong during these times because grief tends to immerse our souls in sadness, effectively blocking awareness of that which exists outside of ourselves. Because they recently crossed over, loved ones in spirit usually have an experienced guide with them to help orchestrate the occurrence of these signs.

Signs from Heaven

Immediately after a loved one in spirit crosses, it may seem as though there are no signs at all, or the signs may be very strong and clear then seem to lessen or disappear altogether. There are many reasons why it may seem as though loved ones in spirit are not sending as many signs or any signs at all. First, let us explore the ways loved ones in spirit send signs and examples of some of the stronger ones which may occur soon after they cross over into Heaven.

Soon after a loved one in spirit crosses over into Heaven, they are often eager to send a sign to their loved ones on earth letting them know they have crossed over into Heaven, as well as to send their love and comfort. Often, loved ones in spirit are accompanied by a guide to help them during their time of transition and these guides assist with the sending of signs.

Because people in spirit no longer have a physical body with which to send communications, they use the universal soul-to-soul form of communication, also known as spirit communication or mediumship, which is a much richer method for transmitting information. This method can utilize all the senses to provide a deep and direct connection with those they are trying to communicate with. The options are limitless when it comes to the many ways loved ones in spirit can send signs. Here are some examples of strong signs sent soon after a loved one crosses over into Heaven:

  • Seeing a loved one in spirit fully manifested in energy form, much like the appearance of a ghost, in which you see them in a slightly transparent form of themselves (Note: This takes a tremendous amount of energy and, therefore, a rare occurrence.)
  • Seeing loved ones in spirit in dreams
  • Finding coins or feathers in unusual places
  • Seeing repeated visual signs which remind you of the loved one in spirit, such as their favorite places in the world, hobbies, jobs, their name, or their relationship to the recipient, as well as butterflies, ladybugs, dragonflies, hummingbirds, doves, and more
  • Smelling a strong scent in the air which is reminiscent of the loved one who passed, such as their perfume or cologne, cigar or cigarette smoke, or the scent of their home
  • Catching a quick glimpse out of the corner of your eye of a presence in the form of the loved one in spirit or as a dark shadow (Note: Dark shadows are often misidentified as ominous entities, when they are really loved ones in spirit who are partially manifesting.)
  • Feeling as though a loved one in spirit placed a hand on one’s shoulder or affectionately touching your face – this feeling can be accompanied by a tingling sensation on the shoulder or face
  • Feeling a presence with you that is comforting
  • Hearing the voice of a loved one in spirit saying your name or words of comfort
  • Songs playing on the radio about Heaven or that remind you of a loved one in spirit
  • Electronics acting up for no explainable reason (e.g., blinking lights, electronic screens freezing up or digitizing, children’s toys or music devices playing on their own, etc.)
  • And much more

Reasons Why Signs from Loved Ones in Spirit Seem to Lessen or Not Occur

Often, people on earth expect their loved ones in spirit to manifest like a ghost in front of them and be able to hold a long conversation with them with questions and answers. This may happen; however, it is very, very rare. The energy it takes to do this is tremendous and the loved ones in spirit may not know how to do this immediately after crossing over. Instead, signs are sent to get their messages through. What happens though when it seems these signs are lessening over time or seem to disappear?

Again, there are many reasons why signs may seem to lessen or not be present at all. It is not because your loved ones no longer care for you. They do and they are around you whether you are aware of their presence or not. Here are some examples as to why it may be challenging to recognize signs or why they seem to have dissipated:

  • Strong grief can temporarily block the ability to recognize signs (Note: This is because deep grief turns the attention inwards and can be all encompassing at times. Experiencing grief after loss is a natural process in which we need to give ourselves time to process our feelings and emotions, as well as time to adjust to the major transitions and changes to our lives.)
  • Not knowing how loved ones in spirit send signs or communicate with loved ones on earth
  • Expecting the same sign every time
  • Loved ones in spirit give us space to heal our hearts (Note: If they constantly made their presence known, those of us on earth would have difficulty moving forward because their presence may potentially prevent us from adapting to not having them physically with us on earth. This is a major transition for both you and your loved one. Even though your souls remain connected, adjustments need to be made and acknowledged for healing to take place.)
  • Times when loved ones in spirit are not allowed to interfere with decisions we need to make. It is during these times that it will feel as though they are not with us.
  • We are very sad or focusing too much on the mundane issues of life, which eats up focus and closes us off to recognizing signs
  • Misconstruing signs as representations of negative entities
  • Missing or dismissing signs due to lack of knowledge, fear, sadness, skepticism, or disbelief
  • Not giving yourself time to heal and adjust to the major transitions which occur when a loved one crosses over into Heaven, which can lead to a desperate search for signs when loved ones in spirit are trying to give you time and space to heal
  • They are learning how to send signs to loved ones on earth and participating in activities in Heaven which temporarily suspend the sending of signs

Be Kind to Yourself and Know Your Loved Ones in Spirit Are There for You

As with any major transition in our lives, we need time to adjust to the changes. While we are processing grief on earth and living our lives, our loved ones in spirit are also adjusting to their existence in Heaven. You and your loved ones in spirit are connected through the hearts of your spirits. There is nothing that can break the bond of the love you share. Be kind to yourself by giving yourself time to grieve, learn about how loved ones in spirit communicate and send signs, and have patience with yourself and your loved ones in spirit. They are there for you and will send signs when the time is right for you.

Trusting in Circumstances and Retraining Your Mind to Focus on the Positive

Trust in the circumstances you are in because they are not only meant to be, but also are leading you to a better place in the evolution of your soul. Even if times are challenging or you do not understand where circumstances are leading, there are positive reasons for these situations. Negative circumstances are not what they seem on the surface, as there is an amazing interconnected network of events occurring at this very moment which are leading us into situations designed to help us grow as souls.

Seeing the Positives Hidden Within

Events we perceive as negative are designed to help us grow, often at an accelerated pace. Positive experiences encourage growth through reward. On earth, it may seem as though negative circumstances outweigh the positive. This is not necessarily true. Pain, emotional or physical, often acts like a bookmark on our souls. Because of this, it is sometimes easier to recall painful situations because they left a very strong impression tied to lessons for our souls. The human ego, which is the seat of negativity, uses these bookmarks to retrieve information and persuade us into thinking there is more negative than positive. However, in knowing this, you can train your brain to recall the positive.

Important Insights Revealed

One evening as I sat in meditation, my best friend, Michele, who crossed over into Heaven several decades ago, appeared to me. Memories of our relationship flooded in; however, all had negative connotations, including the heart-wrenching way she passed, the great troubles she experienced prior to her passing, and more. In my mind I said, “No! This is not what my relationship with Michele was about. Show me at least two positive memories to counter each of the negative ones just shown.” As I continued to relax in the meditation journey, the positive memories started to flood in about the good times Michele and I enjoyed. It warmed my heart and taught me an important lesson about the ease with which we recall the negative and how we can turn that around by redirecting our thoughts to recall the positive experiences. Now when I think of Michele, it is with joy in my heart for the good times we shared.

Daily Gratitude

Each day, I work on emphasizing the positive over the negative by expressing gratitude for all the lessons I have learned, the people and animals in my life, the opportunities to give and receive love, the gifts I have been given, all that I have, and so much more. When negative circumstances arise, I do my best to focus on the lessons behind the circumstances instead of allowing sadness or self-pity to kick in, as those emotions are counterproductive and wasteful. Because I actively choose to look for the positive lessons behind negative circumstances, I have been given glimpses into the amazing ways events are orchestrated, with one circumstance leading to another and another, ending with a whole host of positive experiences hidden within. A very simple example of this would be having a tire on your vehicle go flat, which leads you to a repair shop for fixing. This could be viewed as an inconvenience as you need to alter your plans and pay for an unexpected expense. However, while at the shop, you bump into an old acquaintance who, after inquiring about how you have been and what you have been up to, provides you with a tip to help you with your career. This piece of information ends up helping you in more ways than you thought possible and came at the perfect time for you. There are no coincidences in life. All events are orchestrated from Heaven with our best interests in mind. This sequence of events started with a negative but ended with a positive. You never know where life will lead you; however, if you keep an open mind and do your best to focus on the positives, they are there. It may take time to see the positives, especially when you are immersed within a challenging situation. It is at those times it would be helpful to let go of unproductive striving and look toward solutions and the lessons within. If solutions are proving difficult to determine, this is when I let go and let God. In my mind, I hand my challenges up to God and ask for assistance, then I take my mind off the issues by focusing on other tasks or activities I enjoy while I wait for instructions about the next steps to take. These instructions will come in the form of urges to take positive actions or repetitive signs or messages.

Asking for Help

Try not to be too hard on yourself or allow a barrage of negativity to get you down. There are times when events outside of you may disturb your thoughts or increase frustration or sadness about events in the world or in the lives of those you love. If you are struggling to grapple with difficult issues affecting your life or the lives of others, I recommend calling on God and the Archangels to provide you examples of the good in the world or to show you ways you can assist in the situation or help make the world a better place. I do this when negative news about the world becomes overwhelming. I also send prayers asking for God to intervene and heal the situations. Even though there are positive reasons for negative circumstances, it can be easy to be overwhelmed at times by an onslaught of troubling news, whether it is about our own lives, the lives of those we love, or the world. Ask for help from above or from those around you if you need it and do what you can to take positive actions, including looking for the lessons behind the circumstances and, if possible, solutions to improve circumstances for those affected.

We Are All Human

Throughout all the experiences of life, it is important to remember we are all human. We make mistakes, we get back up, we go through good times and bad, and we are all living through this experience together. Be kind to yourself and others through understanding and forgiveness, and by knowing there will be people who have not yet progressed through certain lessons which enable them to operate from a place of love. We are a mix of younger souls and older souls who are helping each other learn lessons, all with the goal of helping our souls evolve and grow to a place of higher understanding and peace through love. Viewing our experiences from a more positive perspective will help make our lifetimes more enjoyable and productive, while helping us to see and experience the love and guidance from Heaven which influences our lives every day.
