Spirit mediums are spiritual warriors sent here to combat the relentless negativity of the human ego in order to demonstrate the magnificent power, purpose, and origin of the soul, which is created in love, is love, and will always be comprised of love. The love that flows through each and every being is unconditional and pure, and we feel that when we connect with heaven through the gifts of mediumship, which are within all of us. Spirit mediums, who have evolved over the ages, cut through negativity with the sword of truth in order to help clear the path toward awareness, compassion, understanding, and enlightenment.

Personal Battles that Test Our Faith

Some of the toughest battles we face are the personal ones, in which our faith is tested by the onslaught of trying situations that seem to tear at our very souls. It is during these times we need to call on our heavenly support team to show us the way, guide us past obstacles, and help us see and experience the positive reasons for seemingly negative situations. These situations not only help us experience the great challenges of being human, but also help us to become more compassionate and empathetic toward all around us. The tough lessons taught early on and throughout life greatly increase our opportunities for awareness on the soul level about our true missions. By sifting through the pain and complexity of life on earth, and seeking the answers of higher truths, we can find the reasons for our existence on earth within the cores of our souls.

Why We Suffer

Through the pain and suffering we experience on earth, it is easy and tempting to fall into the trap of the human ego with its persuasive voice of negativity. Many people fall prey to its voice stating over and over that “you are not good enough,” “you will never succeed,” and “all people are bad.” These words, which have the power to evoke strong negative feelings within, are illusions. The deployment of the human ego on earth was put in place as a challenge we are meant to overcome through daily management and mindfulness. Knowing this greatly enhances opportunities for success, as we can learn how to dismiss the negativity in favor of our true paths in the light and love of our Creator.

God is the Source of All

Yes, the gifts of mediumship come from God, the true source from which all love flows. It does not matter what you call God, only that you recognize the beautiful strength, love, and support granted to you by this incredible being who created you out of unconditional love. Our mission is to be representatives of that love, as well as help others see and experience the light and love within each and every one of our souls. We enlighten, educate, and share knowledge and love in a welcoming manner. As representatives of Heaven, we are to accept others as they are, knowing not everyone will see or agree. We are to do our best not to push or get angry, which are manifestations of the ego, but to love and accept that not everyone will grasp these concepts within their present lifetimes. This is all a part of the divine plan which includes free will. We all have it, and we all make choices based on those plans, whether we are aware of them or not. For those who fall in the pit of despair caused by the human ego, we are to send love and prayers with the intention of helping them to climb out of the darkness and into the light.

Responsibilities of Divine Messengers

As divine messengers, we have the responsibility to handle information and lives with care. Honesty, integrity, and confidentiality are an integral part of being a spirit medium. You may give examples of occurrences within readings; however, do not reveal the names of the parties involved unless you have express permission to do so. In addition, do not make up information. It is better to state you do not have an answer than it is to make one up. Fabricated information is the fastest way to destroy your integrity as a spirit medium. It is important to note we are only given the information needed for the recipients of a reading. Spirit mediums and psychics are not all-knowing. Additionally, there is the possibility of misinterpreting information coming through because it is a complex form of communication. Do the best you can. Practice and pay attention to the meanings of the symbols given to you by spirit. Keep a journal of symbols and what they mean. Moreover, it is important to know the words we speak and how they are delivered can have a very strong impact on the lives of those around us. Be mindful of people’s feelings, and above all, deliver everything you do or say with love and compassion for the person, his or her journey, and his or her purpose on this earth.

As you go forth into this world to share the love and light of Heaven, remember you must also take care of yourself. Often, people who work within the light of God are great givers of love. On this earthly plane, we are meant to both give and receive with grace. Humble gratitude for the gifts we are given, as well as a heart center open to receive love in return, will ensure the flow of love and healing energy needed to sustain us on this plane.

Expanding the Scope of Your Mission

As stewards of the earth, the focus of our missions often go beyond individual interactions to a scope that embraces the world as a whole. Even as we positively impact individual souls with the light and love of our Creator, we can expand our reach to a global scale. Working toward reaching larger audiences with messages of love, as well as championing causes that help groups of people, our environment, wildlife, and the world, can become an important part of your mission. Each step we take to spread and share the love has the potential to grow and expand into movements that positively impact the earth, its people, our wildlife, and our souls. When you are ready, choose a cause close to your heart and, to the best of your abilities, do what you can to support it through words and deeds.
