Origins of Reiki

Rediscovered in 1922 by Dr. Mikao Usui, a practicing Buddhist from Japan, and brought to the United States by Hawaiian-born Hawayo Takada, Reiki energy healing provides a way to help your mind, body, and spirit to usher in healing by sending restorative energies to the areas negatively affected by extenuating circumstances and stress. Reiki practitioners channel the healing energies with love and the positive intention of restoring you to your optimum state of being.

What to Expect with Reiki

As the recipient of a Reiki energy healing session, you will feel relaxed and rejuvenated as the reviving energy flows through the practitioner to you. Reiki can be applied for the removal of accumulated negative energies, as well as for preventative and maintenance purposes, the easing of minor ailments, and as an accompanying treatment to traditional medicinal practices for major conditions, such as arthritis, sinusitis, and cancer. Reiki is not a replacement for traditional methods of healing, but rather works in tandem with treatments. Reiki is soothing to the soul. It can be applied to uplift energy, improve effectiveness of medicine, and to maximize nutritional value of food and drink. Anyone can be taught how to utilize Reiki energy through formal workshops that teach the traditions and methods for transferring the energies to the self and others. In addition, Reiki can assist in the opening of your spiritual centers to make you more receptive to the messages and guidance from loved ones in spirit and the Angels. Your personal spiritual journey can only be enhanced through this natural healing practice that you can access at any time throughout your life.

Levels of Reiki

There are three levels of Reiki which can be learned through workshops. Each successive workshop provides increasing degrees of expertise, up to and including the ability to be a formal practitioner and master teacher. Each level of Reiki includes a special attunement that increasingly opens a student’s ability to skillfully channel more of the universal life force energy. Level 1 delves into the history and traditions of Reiki and includes methodologies and symbology for self-healing and minor healing for others. Level 2 is for those interested in becoming a practitioner and/or setting up a formal practice and includes more advanced healing techniques. Level 3 is for those interested in becoming a Master, which is the highest level of Reiki and imbues the student with the ability to teach Reiki to others.

What is Remote Viewing and How Does It Work?

Imagine sitting in your living room and being able to see events in your mind which are occurring somewhere across the globe in real time. That is remote viewing. Spirit mediums who are strong with the gift of clairvoyance, also known as extrasensory seeing, have the ability to remote view; however, extrasensory seeing is just one piece of remote viewing. It is an immersive experience which can also include the use of all extrasensory senses of seeing, feeling, hearing, tasting, smelling, and knowing to provide richer detail to the scenes.

How It Works

The phenomenon of remote viewing works the same as when loved ones in spirit send memories from the past about their lives or events to a spirit medium. The images are sent internally, much like telepathy from soul-to-soul. The spirit medium views the images in their mind’s eye, also referred to as the third eye, which is located between the eyebrows at the crest of the brow bone. The images appear within 8 to 10 inches from the spirit medium’s forehead and can be viewed with their eyes open because the focus is on what is being sent, rather than objects in their current surroundings. There can be sounds, feelings, tastes, and smells accompanying the images which are often in motion and play out like a movie.

Why It Occurs

When a spirit medium is experiencing remote viewing, it is for a specific reason and the information provided is on a need-to-know basis. For example, in long-distance readings I have provided over the phone, the person in spirit who is coming through has shown me in real time where the recipient of a reading is, what they look like, what they are wearing, objects around them, and more. They do this to prove to the recipient of the reading that they are there in spirit with them in that moment and that they can see what is happening on Earth even though they are in spirit. During an in-person reading, the gentleman in spirit was showing me a scene in which his living best friend was screeching his tires when pulling out of a parking lot and into the street. The name and likeness of the best friend was already shared through communications from the gentleman in spirit for identification purposes and I could hear and see the scene with the tires screeching. The gentleman’s wife, who was the recipient of the reading, could not imagine her husband’s best friend ever screeching his tires as he was a very safe and conservative driver. After the reading, the gentleman’s wife reached out to me to tell me that she had spoken with her husband’s best friend that afternoon and found out he had accidentally screeched his tires while pulling out of a parking lot that day at the exact time the information was being shared with me by her husband in spirit. Again, this was done to show his awareness of events on Earth, including his ability to watch over those he loved as a guardian angel. In other instances, remote viewing experiences occur to help solve crimes or locate criminals or objects used in crimes, to locate lost people or animals or objects, to solve mysteries, to be given notice of an event occurring at a distance with a loved one on Earth, and to give insights into events on Earth.

Information Revealed

The information shared is on a need-to-know basis. Insights will not be given without a purpose. The intention behind the request for information is also important. If the intent is to help others, the information usually flows freely; however, there are times when requested information will not be shared. This is at the discretion of the being in spirit sharing it, whether it is a loved one in spirit or angelic being. There are many reasons for this, including but not limited to, if the information is not appropriate to share (private information) or if there are soul lessons to be learned or decisions made in which they cannot interfere with or provide insight into for the requestor.

Gifts of Mediumship

Whether a spirit medium is receiving information about events or people from the past, glimpses into the future, or real-time events. It is the gifts of mediumship, also referred to as spirit communication, which allows the information to flow across dimensions. Spirit mediums are the receivers and interpreters who help those in spirit share their communications meant to help people on Earth with their lives and their spiritual journeys. It is an amazing phenomenon that brings forth proof of our existence beyond life on Earth, as well as the knowledge that there is more to our existence than appears to be on the surface. Everyone has these gifts to some degree. People who are open in mind, body, and soul can learn how to connect with these gifts to bring more love and light to this world.  As with any gift that requires skill, proper knowledge and practice hones abilities, enabling the spirit medium to be as effective and accurate as possible when being of service in this way.

The Universal Gift of Spirit Communication Is Within You

Each of us is born with the ability to communicate through the hearts of our spirits with loved ones in heaven, the angels, and God. There is an invisible communication network that connects us to all beings in existence. The ability to tap into that network is a skill that can be learned, or as I like to refer to it, a skill that can be remembered. Throughout the many lifetimes we have lived, as well as the time spent in heaven, we have known of this ability and have used it. However, when we are born on earth, our memories of this ability can be veiled from us until the right time approaches. Having an open mind and an open heart helps us to retrieve the knowledge of spirit-to-spirit communication built into our souls. It also helps when you have an older soul, someone who has lived many lifetimes and whose gift is strong, to help guide you through the process and learn how to better manage it.

Benefits of Connecting with Heaven

There are many benefits to learning how to communicate via your spirit with loved ones who have crossed over into heaven, as well as the angels and God. While you may receive signs they are around, it is even better to know why they are around and what they would like to express to you beyond their love. Our loved ones in spirit help us with our lives every day, and if we can open ourselves up to their messages, we can better navigate our lives and become more open to the incredible love that streams into our souls on a daily basis. Our guys and gals in heaven know how challenging life on earth can be. Because of this and because of the great love they have for us, they do their best to support us through our earthly journeys.

Learning a New Language

Learning how to communicate via your spirit can be equated to learning a new language. This is because the way we communicate through our spirits is different from the way we communicate with one another on the earth plane. Loved ones in spirit and the angels use all of our senses to transmit messages. Seeing, feeling, hearing, tasting, smelling, and knowing are ways in which the information is received and transmitted; however, the information comes through our extrasensory senses, which go beyond our earthly senses. They also use symbols to represent information and to communicate concepts. Each person’s symbols are unique, and it takes time to decipher the codes. One of the most amazing aspects of mediumship is that it grows, deepens, and changes. Each day brings an opportunity to expand your knowledge and hone your skills.

Reawakening to the Gifts Within

Spirit mediums are not born knowing they are mediums or conduits to the Other Side. The veil that covers knowledge when we are born is lifted when the time is right for us to share our gifts. We are made aware of our gifts through many experiences, and in my case, I received a true calling that left absolutely no doubt as to my purpose in this lifetime. Not everyone receives this type of calling, nor is it always so strong. Each person has their own mission in life, and serving others in a professional capacity in this way may or may not be your purpose; however, you can still learn how to communicate with loved ones in spirit and the angels. If you feel a strong desire to learn, it is because it is necessary for the growth of your spirit to tap into beneficial guidance from heaven. As a spirit medium, I am an old soul who has been called by God to share the gift of spirit communication with you. When I received my calling, it was one of the most amazing moments in my life. I have known for a long time that my mission includes not only sharing my gifts, but also teaching others to reach within to realize their own abilities to communicate via their spirits.

Education

One of the first steps I took when reawakening to my gifts was to find a teacher to help me better understand how they worked. I trained with some of the top spirit mediums in the world, including James Van Praagh, Tony Stockwell, John Holland, and more. What amazed me the most was my experience triggered a remembering. As I attended the workshops, information recorded within my soul came flooding back and I knew how to perform tasks they were not even teaching. It was truly an amazing experience. A whole new world was opening up for me, and I knew with all of my heart and soul the time had come for me to share my gifts with the world.

Students I work with today experience an incredible shift in their mindsets while attending my workshops. It is wonderful to see people open up to spirit for the first time and to grow into their gifts and abilities. Opening up to your natural gifts and abilities is an awe-inspiring experience that floods your life with knowledge, love, and wonder about our extraordinary existence.
