Heaven is a place filled with love and knowledge. When our loved ones cross over into Heaven, they experience an awakening as they review their lives and realize the impact of their actions while on Earth. I cannot even begin to count the number of times people have come through in spirit asking for forgiveness for the lack of love that they showed or expressed when they were here. They truly wish they had realized the importance of this while they were here and want their loved ones on Earth to know how sorry they are for not sharing their love in more meaningful ways. These messages also tell us how important it is to our souls to show and express our love while living on Earth.
Generators of Positive Energy
Everything we are and everything we do is based in love. We are created from the supreme power of love by our Creator. We are meant to continue to generate that love through our actions on Earth. As spiritual souls on a human journey, we face many challenges here on Earth. It is the relationships and love we cultivate which help us through the dark times and brings us great joy when we celebrate the light. We are truly here to help one another. All the mundane problems of everyday life are catalysts to encourage us to work through our problems together, as well as to search out and find the love that is already there in the hearts of all our spirits.
You Can Take It with You
When we cross over into Heaven, we take with us our spirit and the love that connects us with those we share special connections with, including people and animals. The conclusion of our time on Earth, which comes with the release of our souls from our physical bodies, opens the door to a new beginning in Heaven. Within our spirits, we carry the love, knowledge, and relationships we cultivated throughout our lifetimes. Because love is our reason for being and one of the few things we take with us when we make our transition to Heaven, it makes sense that sharing and expressing our love is vital to our souls. It also explains why our guys and gals in Heaven repeatedly send messages about the importance of expressing and showing our love to one another.
Overcoming Fears of Opening Your Heart to Another
Do you hesitate to tell someone you love them? If so, why is it so difficult to say it? Is it because you were raised in an environment in which love was not expressed? Is it because you were hurt in a relationship or relationships in which you loved and that love was not returned? The fears that prevent you from sharing your heart were put in place as a challenge for you. The challenge in this type of life lesson is to overcome your fears to realize love is everywhere, and that the more you share, the more you receive in return. At first, it may feel awkward or uncomfortable to let your guard down and be vulnerable with someone; however, with the right person, the risk is worth the reward. Even if someone does not feel the same way you do, at least you expressed the feelings in your heart and soul. You can feel good about that, knowing you have done your best by communicating and sharing the love within your heart for another, whether it is a friend, family member, or significant other.
Giving Gifts from the Soul
For those on the receiving end of a loving message or gesture, it is a blessing and a gift from the soul. Even if you think someone already knows that you love them, show them and tell them anyway. Each person is a unique being, and we cannot profess to know all that is going on within another person’s mind or soul; however, by clearly communicating your feelings, you effectively remove any question someone may have about how you feel about them. Think about how many times you may have agonized about how someone feels about you. Wouldn’t it have been great if you had received clarity directly from that person? This is the gift you can give others when you clearly communicate your feelings in a way that can be heard and accepted by others.
Clear Communication Coupled with Positive Actions
Often, it is communication problems that lead to the demise of a relationship. Instead of withholding feelings out of fear, try to express them in healthy ways. Tell the people you care about that you love them and show them your love through your actions. For instance, do something for them that brings a smile to their face, such as making a handmade gift, completing a task or responsibility that will give them free time to relax, or scheduling time for a special experience that will create happy memories. Each one of us wants to be loved, accepted, and appreciated for who we are. If you are not giving or receiving that in your relationships, it is time for some soul-searching and, possibly, a heart-to-heart conversation about each person’s needs, as well as potential solutions for improving the relationship in which both parties participate.
Opening Yourself to Love
While it is important to share love, it is equally important to be open to receive love. When we build walls around our hearts and souls due to situations which have brought pain, we block ourselves not only from negative experiences, but also from positive ones. It is understandable to want to protect yourself from being hurt; however, retaining that wall long-term blocks you from experiencing the good in life. While letting the wall down may make you vulnerable to potential pain, it also opens you more fully to love and be loved. It may also help to examine what you learned from your actions and the actions of others to work on improving your experiences in the future. There are opportunities to love and be loved every day. It is up to us to be open to them while also taking responsibility for our lives.
Remember to Love Who You Are
As you are sharing your love with others, be sure to be kind and loving toward yourself. Schedule time to participate in activities you enjoy, including hobbies, exercise, reading, sports, meditation, and more. Be as kind to yourself as you would be to another. Love fully and well, both others and you.
